I found out at 19 weeks pregnant that I was carrying twins! I already have four other children below the age of six. It was the shock of a life time!!! I laughed, I cried and then I had a silent panic attack. God's strength is what carries me on. Twins are amazing! 😍

My grandfather's grandmother was a twin, my mother has sister's who are twins, and one of them had twins. I am preparing myself.

Twins runs in my family too. My great grandparents on my dad side had twins three times. On my mom side, my mom has a twins me and my brother, 2 of my aunts has twins. A total of 6 set of twins that I know of.
My brothers are twins and alot of my mothers side is twins. Surprisingly none of us have had twins yet.
I love the universality of mothers when informed that they were having twins asking 'Are both their hearts beating'. It the 'as long as they are healthy, everything will be fine' cliche.

Adriana Chrite awww that’s lovely , just found out yesterday I’m pregnant with my 3 rd but I’m nearly 40 😫 so anxious as my eldest knacker me as it is so was a bit of a surprise but happy one . My eldest sister has twin girls and had them at 37/38 years old and I have twins girl cousins . But I don’t have that “ feeling “ just everyone else has joked due to family history and apparently it’s more common in older women to have twins 🤷🏼♀️

Marquella Scott remember these words... it will get easier! Those first few months are sooo difficult! Take help when it is offered, and enjoy the roller coaster, because it is so so much fun! You’ll be the most popular person in restaurants and the grocery store!

Been there!! Didnt find of until 20weeks that i was have twin girls. So many people told me i was too big. We were scared at first but my husband has little sister who are twins. Once the shock was over we had had people to look to for advice and he had a experience with dealing with two babies at the same time. I feel so blessed but i cant say i would want another set of multiples. I had a lot of complications and they were premies born at 32wks and they spent 76 days in the nicu. Now they are 7. Happy, healthy and beautiful.😊

My doctor is having me wait till my 20 weeks for an ultrasound and I'M HUGE.. I look 6 months and I'm only 15 weeks. Fingers crossed that it twins.

I was at the 3rd age of the university. I had a gynaecologist problem, and doctor said to me if I want one day to become a mum, I have to take a treatment first.
And finally I was pregnant without treatment and twins!!!!!!
My girls today are 6 years old......
They were born 29 weeks old. Consistency of the early birth, cerebral palsy in both. We fought a lot to ropethey. One of them made it through three years and the other was five. No doctor thinks these kids managed to ropethey. They have given this feat to perseverance the patience of our faith and our love towards our girls. Love works wonders to remember!!!!!! 💓

When man and wife get told they are going to have twins it just stops and there is so much joy in the air to know that you are going top be the father to twins .

I need to stop watching these. This is now my ninth pregnancy and each time, I’m always bummed because it’s not twins at the ultrasound. I’m always glad it’s always 1, but something about these videos just makes me want to experience it. Even hoping for triplets to experience the shock factor. But I need to think realistically. I can only handle 1 at a time, and a temporary shock high isn’t worth it in the end. God knows what he is doing for each of us and I am so glad for the children I have.

I'm preparing for twins as it's been prophesied to me, I am so excited about them and I say their names and pray for them every day, just waiting on God's timing, my husband and I already have a son. God is faithful to His word.

I really wish I filmed my first ultrasound, my husband literally said I was having twins as we walked in and he was right. My mom freaked out, jumping for joy calling everyone.
There's no twins in my family (unless you go back a few generations) or his family so it was very weird. The baby girls are in their cribs right now ❤️❤️❤️ edd: November 29, delivery: November 8th. Induced tho.
It's honestly very painful knowing I didn't record it, I shouldn't have feared the signs saying no filming. Mom's, you never know, bring someone sneaky to record for you. Bad advice but I regret it 100%
I didn't get a belly bump until the very end (made me sooo mad, I was walking around NYC naseous with no one letting me have their seat but at about 35 weeks it came out like a regular Singleton baby ugh), probably due to my tilted uterus idk

Courtney Allston I’m curious about the protocol with ultrasounds. Is recording not allowed? Are they supposed to wait before they say anything?
@@gbpdrum45 depends on the place you're at. And if the person who's ultrasound it is give permission or is the one that is actually posting it, there isn't an issue. Now, I couldn't go and just post something without thier permission or desensitizing the information
What do you mean? They are with their partners usually, or someone the patient gave consent to be there. If you are talking about the recording, the family was the one recording in all the videos, again with the consent of the patient, otherwise they would not be there or they would not be recording. If anything they were the ones that needed to ask the technician if they were ok with being recorded. There are not HIPAA* violations here.

Twins skip a generation in my family. My aunt was a twin and my great grandfather was a twin so now there’s a good chance my generation will have twins! We’ll see which of my siblings it is! Lol

I hate how where I am that you have to wait until 12-13 weeks to have your first ultrasound. It seems like such a long wait!

You don’t have to wait that long here. I had my first at 6 weeks.
If I'd had to wait until 8 weeks, my ectopic 'pregnancy' wouldn't have been found before intractable pain set in.

I had a child who was 7 months old and found out I was pregnant with twins. I cried for 3 days!
I almost had a heart attach when doctor told me It looks like I was having twins I was terrified, I have never been scared in my life, because I was alone, the father wanted me to abort the pregnancy and I refused.
but after 5 minutes he told me it was only one baby but big one, he is 14 yrs now!

My sister went to school with triplets and unfortually one just passed away last month. her funeral was last weekend and I been catching up on 25 years of not talking to them. I just asked one last night if when she got married did her and her husband ever talk about the possibility of the odds of having triplets. Patty replied by saying her husband was terrified lol They only have one single child 16 now. She told me her daughter doesn't want kids lol Her niece does. Shes 14 now. When I was growing up I could never tell them apart. One was named Genny so I just called them all Genny lol I can tell them apart now. Well the 2 remaining. But told them I'll just keep calling them both Genny. haha 8-8-19

My dad is an identical twin. I always figured my siblings or I would have twins but no.
Only fraternal twins are hereditary. Identical twins happen randomly.

Ghostly Rose: I'm 66 years old. When people we knew would say that they were pregnant, and they already had anywhere from 6 to 10 kids, my father would tell them "You should try to figure what is causing that, and then quit doing it." 👍👌 He, of course was just trying to be funny.
What always bugged me was when people would want to show pictures of the birth of their babies: My two kids were both c-sections, and I wish I had my camera, right after the Dr. said "Well, we have a head!" (Picture a photo of a baby's head sticking out of a woman's tummy, just below her belly button!)
Nobody would ever show me photos of their baby being born after THAT!!😊
Another thing (phenomenon) from my 20s and 30s, that surprised me was that pregnant women were EXTREMELY ATTRACTIVE to me! Maybe it was because they were so happy... Probably what people refer to as the glow.

I remember when I heard those words, I wasn't allowed to make phone calls from my house (because my husband was an abusive person) so I snuck a call to my mother from the hospital. Thank you God for St. Vincent's of Indianapolis. My babies and I wouldn't have made it without you.
