I'm a twin. Apparently while my dad was finding parking, my mom was getting her ultrasound so when he came in, she was like "babe look. There's two heart beats" and my dad's words were "OUR BABY HAS TWO HEARTS?!"

This is bringing me back to when I first found out I’m having twins. My doctor looked at me and said “uhh well....” and I said “what?...” he says well there’s two in there. I went into shock and said every curse word in the book. Laughing and crying I didn’t know how to feel. My husband was so happy just laughing. Took me a couple weeks and more ultrasounds for it to finally feel real. Now they will be here next month!!

My wife and I about passed out when we found out we were having twins. The doctor doing the ultrasound just casually said "oh look there's two babies". I'm still in disbelief 4 years later as I'm sitting here watching my identical boys play. What made it so crazy was that my wife's older brother has twin boys as well. No one believed us at first, even when we showed them the ultrasound.
I’m 18 weeks pregnant with fraternal twins.It’s definitely a blessing.Me and my boyfriend were shocked because twins don’t run on either side of our families but my stepson and mom both dreamt of me having twins ♥️ Now we’re just waiting for January to get here 😊

I just started laughing hysterically when I found out. My husband said that it was twins a few weeks before we found out. I even had an ultrasound that only showed one baby. A few weeks later it was very clearly two. I couldn't believe that he was right. My twins are 3 now.
I also had an ultrasound showing one baby. So off we went on vacation. I'd dreamt it was two nightly so was surprised to only see one. We returned went to doctor. First question on my list is how many are in here?! Off for ultrasound yep two! Yes!!! a dream come true!!! Loved that journey

Humans are funny. Pretty much every pregnancy there's someone who says 'I bet it's twins'. Then on the rare event it's actually twins 'I told you it was twins'.
Happened to me 😂 23 weeks pregnant with non identicle twins
Also happened to me...5 minutes before I found out it was twins I told my husband there was no way. 31 weeks with two boys 🙃🙂
It's also common from fertility treatments like IVF

I heard it too . “For sure it is twins”. Nope. Just one. Though my son was a twin but I miscarried the other baby. It was first trimester and I thought the pregnancy was over. I actually saw the baby so I know I had lost one. Went to the hospital and the ultrasound tech said “you are still pregnant “. I was too shocked to be happy at first. So yeah, got my twins announcement a different way. But I am super grateful for what I have.

Just found out 4 hours ago we have 2 loaves in the oven! So excited still in awe. Life is amazing. I noticed how many women say , I knew I knew it! It's crazy because for me it was like a 6th sense I knew it too. But, it still has me shook! Were blessed for sure 1 or 2 or 6! But i know how lucky myself and family are ✌❣✌❣

I found out in my 4th month that I was having twins. That was almost 33 years ago. It certainly explained why I was looking so big. Ultrasounds have come a long way since then.

I can’t remember if their twins or not but they did go on Ellen or some other show where she surprised her sister that she was pregnant as well. Beautiful
What's sad is the sister can't have kid's, so I reckon she was half serious.
Where'd you hear that the sister can't have kids? When the full ultrasound video went viral, the sister appeared on Ellen. They surprised the expectant mother by phone/video right after she gave birth, and the sister announced that she was pregnant.
I can totally relate I jumped off the table when they told me I was having twins. Twins are awesome.
2 sets of twins and 1 set of triplets in my parents generation. 4 sets of twins in mine (including me). Twins throughout both sides. I'm basically almost definitely going to have mutiples.

@@livelaughgrowarenasortiz28 yes. It will be on your side of the family. The dad has nothing to do with it because it's the females egg that splits. So I'd say you would have a good chance of having twins
@@mindyb3197 almost, its not that the egg splits, but its the females ability to 'hyper ovulate' - ie. Release multiple eggs at once 😉
I dreamt about my twin Grandchildren and told my daughter that she was having twins. Mother/Daughter connection is amazing!
We just found out we are having twins two days ago. I just stared at the screen. Two sacks? What does that mean? Then we saw two babies. We just were in disbelief. Not at all like these people crying and screaming. So surreal. Very happy though!

That’s how I was also. Just in shock really. I’m finally coming around and getting excited. I found out they’re girls yesterday so I’ve been doing some shopping. 😊🎀 my OB said I had a great reaction. She said 99% of the time either mom and dad is crying when they find out (usually not happy tears yet) 😂

My sister and I were due 1 week apart. She had her ultrasound first and I kept bugging her about one of us possibly having twins. Before her ultrasound I said, "Show me a picture of those babies." She said, "har har!" Welp, she sent me a picture of her two little beans a couple hours later! And now they are 2 years old. ❤️

I really wish my husband and I would of filmed when we found out about our twin boys (now 2), it was all such a blur all I can remember is hysterically laughing/crying. I don't even remember my husbands reaction because the moment was so overwhelming.

@@FallingGalaxy it really is scary for some people when they first find out they are going to be new parents, especially when there is more than one baby coming. I dont think he was being a dick, I think he really was just thinking "oh my God, what are we going to do?!", and to some, that may sound sort of "dickish". He had pretty much the same reaction I had when I found out I was having another baby after thinking we had already raised our kids and were done. Happy but, realistic at the same time. How are we going to do this when we are already struggling? How well is my health going to hold up throughout the pregnancy? With all of my health problems, am I capable of having a healthy child(ren)? How are we going to make room at home? Can we actually do this? I mean, all of those things flood your mind and sometimes some people show their fear a little more than others do. As long as he wasnt like "oh fuck this shit, I'm out!", I think it's in the normal realm of reactions. :)
Children only cost as much as you’re willing to pay.
@@FlapjackR Take it from me...(a Mother of a very smart, high functioning autistic 10 year old, and one on the way, due in less than 7 weeks) even if your not "willing", you WILL....or else. (The "or else" is just a nice way of saying that if you dont, you will be driven to the brink of insanity and back again until you do.)

My sister and her partner buy too much, they make double what we do and are miserable, struggling to pay rent.

I have twins that just turned 1 on Friday :) My reaction was "well crap" and my husband was way more excited than I was. I definitely cried because I was scared and it took me about 4 weeks to get used to the idea but after that I was so excited. they are such sweet little boys and I wouldn't change a thing ❤.

I know this is TMI on such a happy video but my 20 year old son and his girlfriend just found out they were pregnant with twins but lost them. I'm heartbroken this would have been my 1st grandbabies. Congrats to all these parents.

We did not find out we were having twins until my wife was 6 months along. She was by herself when they said you are having twin boys! Of course they did not do ultrasounds 30 years ago unless there was an issue. Doc thought he heard two heartbeats so that was the reason for the ultrasound. My wife cried thinking how can we afford childcare for two ! Lol

Yeah, that tech at 5:50 didn't know what she was talking about. Identical twins can be in separate sacs. Fraternal can't share a sac, but identical for sure can be in separate sacs. You'd think an ultrasound tech would know that. Pfft.

It’s all about when the egg separates into two. If it does so early you will have two sacks and two placentas. They will still be identical twins.
@@Reneelwaring How do they know they're identical if there's two sacs and two placentas? Do they wait till the birth and judge at that point? I'm confused.
I would absolutely love twins. I am a twin myself I would find it so cool to see how twins would interact with each other since me and my twin aren't as close as everyone assumes we are.

I just found out I'm pregnant again.I already have 3. I'm over 30,my mother's side had a history of twins including my mother miscarried twins, I'm over weight. If they tell me it's twins I will probably just laugh uncontrollably at this point. Nothing else I can do lol
