I must say, you’ve probably heard this by now, but it will always bear repeating that you absolutely KILLED it in this cover. May the Gods watch over your battles, friend.
I'm sorry to say this my bear, but I never heard of you before this song. And you KILLED IT MAN. I cried of shock and this song goes instant on my playlist😮
You can thank the RUclipsr Miracle Of Sound for that. He’s the one who originally wrote it! He definitely does not get enough credit. The song is made so well that people thought it was an old ancient shanty haha.
Fabulous review, very entertaining. And so glad to see someone else so excited about this awesome arrangement. I may be a little biased though, BigBrev is my husband 😂
What a company of Dragons!! Tomi and his subharmonics are such a pleasure to listen to. Love Big Brev and his voice is the bomb!! Great reaction again Dave
Tomi is throat singing to achieve that unique gravelly depth. Tomi’s talent is always expanding. Incredible arrangement, fantastic vocals, and sheer bass overload.
Loved this reaction! Babies are blessings and yours blessed us with a surprise reaction from you. Glad you left the precious voice in because the contrast to the video you shared was fitting. Now you know why she was screaming. Her primal instinct to warn you that you were about to have your mind blown. ;😉
Great reaction as always, Dave. 👍 We've all heard so many versions of this song yet The Bass Gang and Big Brev have still managed to create something unique to them. This is one of my favourite versions (along with Gavin, Miracle of Sound's own versions and Jonathan Young's version). Great bass and higher ranges displayed by all the guys. Also, Gavin made a nice comment on his Facebook page about how much he was digging this inventive version of his song.
This reaction made me giggle so many times! 😂 They made such an epic cover, Tomi did a fantastic job with the arrangement! It’s nice to see someone react who knows them well enough to really appreciate when they bring something new to a cover.
What it do Dave, my friend… I discovered you recently when I got into learning subharmonics and other cool bass stuff these last few months. You are by *far*, hands down, without a *doubt*, The BEST ‘reactor’ (is that a thing? One who does reaction videos?). I love not only the actual “reaction”, but the analysis and comments on the type of singing, the mixing challenges with the other lower frequencies and instruments with bass vocals, etc. When I start making bass/vocal videos, I know I’ll have “made it” when one of my videos gets to What it freaking do Dave. 💪🐉🔥🐦🔥 -My kindergartener was watching another one of your bass reactions with me the other day and said why is his face scrunched up like that and he’s not saying anything? I simply said, “it’s the power of the bass that’s coming out of those dragons”. He understood perfectly.
When I saw your reaction to that the shirtless dragons, I couldn't help thinking, OH, Just wait, Dave.... Tomi's about to blow your mind. And Bobby's gonna grab you on the next verse.
Cool arrangement and they definitely kept it different from others I've heard. I'm still obsessed with VoicePlays version the most though. I did think the ending was interesting in how the modulations didn't go where expected and left us hanging for more
2:35 I believe someone has said it was throat singing which is commonly used in metal ig (especially death metal according to the comment) 3:54 *INSANE* B0
If you haven't heard it yet, find Valhalla Calling (Trio Version) Miracle Of Sound ft. Eric Hollaway & Peyton Parrish, that is an awesome base a capella version
why did shirtless dragons give me the urge to make a dragonborn bard XD. Also i saw Tomi commenting that the 35 seconds or so in is him using Mongolian throat singing, and using it in a nicely metal way
Wow!!! Thanks so much for the shoutout my man!!! I appreciate the support brother!
I must say, you’ve probably heard this by now, but it will always bear repeating that you absolutely KILLED it in this cover.
May the Gods watch over your battles, friend.
You and Eric Holloway killing it with the range man
Any time!
So glad to see you doing so well. I follow oktavism in general so you show up in my feed a LOT. Always happy to see it.
I'm sorry to say this my bear, but I never heard of you before this song. And you KILLED IT MAN. I cried of shock and this song goes instant on my playlist😮
"The Shirtless Dragons..." What a brilliant band name! 🤣

You know it’s a good song when there’s a million covers of it

I forget which song but Tomi played with that a bit a few songs ago-he plays with something, he masters it. Tomi’s a beast!
"When did you turn into a chainsaw?" I cackled at that one XD
It's such an evocative comparison.
Each time I hear them I get chills

Bro, you felt what I felt. I could tell by your expression as soon as the song ended.

Big Brev was also a cameo on The Bass Gang's cover of We Don't Talk About Bruno
Brev is also opera trained
Yes Big Brev was in Santiana

When I saw your reaction to that the shirtless dragons, I couldn't help thinking, OH, Just wait, Dave.... Tomi's about to blow your mind. And Bobby's gonna grab you on the next verse.
Bobby, Bobby, yes!!! Never too much bass - although this is testing my belief in that.
@@kmwwrench I love Bobby's voice ❤️😍

Cool arrangement and they definitely kept it different from others I've heard. I'm still obsessed with VoicePlays version the most though. I did think the ending was interesting in how the modulations didn't go where expected and left us hanging for more

The dragons are flying today
The dragon council woke up hungry. 🔥

You turn into a jedi when you hear them going up and down in notes for sure.

You need to react to Santiana by the Wellermen, featuring the Bass Gang
