My husband was diagnosed at 55. He is 58 now. I wish my husband liked to talk about it but he doesn’t. There isn’t much conversation in our home as a result of his progression and he is a homebody in every sense of the word. Still, I love him and pray I can care for him at home the entire time. God bless this wonderful couple.

I have a suspicion that one or more of the supplements and oils we tend to take/use on a daily basis may be the culprit.

How ruthless big business is he gave them his life and they booted him out onto the street, lots of love from Yorkshire England, stay strong

I was thinking the same thing. His company appears not to care enough to try and help him when his job performance declined. They just kicked him to the curb, on top of the other problems he has.
      So sad 😞.

Annoying background music should be a lot quieter in order to understand what they are saying.

Ive been around lots of people with Alzheimer's. The vast majority of them were physically fit and took great care of themselves!! Makes me wonder why their brain was affected like that!!!

Agree. Does not seems to matter at all. Also, I've heard lots of those fairly young men, they've worked either in the Navy or been in work with some connection to airplanes, either flightcaptains or other such things involving working in those environments. There is a lot we do not know yet, but I think in the future, we'll be able to connect the dots...(I am aware this was shared 5 years ago, still no progress in the Alzheimer mystery although)

This reminds me of my friend with early-onset dementia. She too was fired from her job as a waitress in a high-end restaurant when she could no longer do the job. She is still alive 10 years later, but long since has lost her ability to talk or know where she is or anything else.

I hope he gets his pension from the company that fired him. Surely there should be some compensation.

So sad he was demoted and fired at work. It had to be humiliating for such a proud man. How did his doctor discover plaque on his brain? I thought they could only do that by autopsy.

Too much of this disease lately- is there something in the environment?

    • @JimmyT132
      @JimmyT132 3 года назад +1

It’s diagnosed more frequently because people are aware of the problem and know to seek help. Plus the boomers are now in that age cohort.

Too much stress…human beings aren’t meant to live like we do now. Always on the run, work stress, wanting more … plus we are living longer than previous generations.

My prayers and good wishes are w you. May God bless you with many good years and I hope there will be a cure. My father in law, my grandmother and my mother... it is difficult. I wonder what multimillion company he worked for. I would not want to use whatever services they offer.

I hear that chelation is great for patients who have Alzheimer’s and dementia. I’m not sure if the amount of lead from the military firearms may be the culprit.

What a horrible way to open up your story about Alzheimer’s ir dementia. Wow.

You two sound so cold. Those are things he could do now.
You make it sound like he is just doomed instead of being optimistic. Horrible reporting. Who wrote this for you? Or did you two store this yourselves?
