This deck hits that critical mass of synergistic combo pieces where every hand is just gas.
Well... that was certainly a draft. Wild deck! The downside is we only get 52 minutes of Vintage Cube today because of the speedrun!
That was probably the best sneak and show deck I've seen. Flash + sneak/breach + some reanimate/entomb and plenty of interaction with good lands.
“Balance is pretty strong” when it reads destroy all creatures and discard your hand haha
Well yeah, but it did cost two mana, so that makes sense.
Together with the more standard B Reanimator from a few months ago, and some of your crazy Wheel-Dream Halls / Bridge-LED / Storm combo decks you drafted in the past, this deck is by far one of the best I've seen in the Channel. Thank you for providing a much needed break from all my studies - I couldn't ask for anything better.
You deserve this after yesterday’s unlucky matches. Not only was it a good draft but lots of incredibly powerful opening hands with no mulligans needed. Dream scenario.
Only watched the draft part so far but this is my dream deck. Arguably the best 5 fatties with 5 ways to cheat them in. Glorious.
Edit: forgot about the Shelldock. Make that 6 ways to cheat them out.
This deck was so busted, the Mox hid for most of the video and it didn’t even matter. Beautiful!
Everytime a new video pops up here, I try to start it fullscreen as quickly as possible to avoid spoilers in the image, title, or comments...

I certainly understand that, but it's necessary to make the videos as broadly appealing as possible - I do try and not reveal everything at least!

That thumbnail is pure gold for me. Big Emrakul is my favorite creature hands down, and if you are cheating it into play in any way shape or form I am clicking, liking, and enjoying, no matter what!
You should play a match with Numot or someone where one of you plays this deck and the other plays your 3 piece of power speed run deck that won in an average of 3.5 turns. That would be a fun match to watch.
I think on average the other deck was better, but a t1 worldspine off mox and flash would be able to steal some games.
@@turbobrew agreed. Would be fun to watch tho. Just LSV running the gauntlet vs his best decks or maybe picking his 3 best draft decks vs another well known players 3 best.
I literally stopped playing magic once LSV started pumping out videos to this RUclips channel. Why play magic myself when I can live vicariously through the GOAT? 🐐

Now this is my kind of deck. The reanimate/sneak deck is right up there with the green blue ramp deck for my favorite archetype
There’s legit not a lot of ways to make that a better deck outside of more power. Maybe swap the confluence for a force? What a banger
A couple more duals would have been nice, maybe troll over Oliphant, but that's just being nitpicky

Animate dead, but at this point the upgrades are minor.
That was masterful…one of best decks I’ve seen drafted on here.
I was originally thinking that something like Animate Dead would have been better than Persist, but Persist forced you to use Archon of Cruelty most of the time, and it was probably the best option for winning each game in which you used it. This is the perfect Sneak-Flash-Dance deck!
This draft went really well imo. It reminded me of some older LSV videos!

As much as it may stress HIM, I love when LSV has a great deck and the first match takes way longer than you'd think...
Because it's STILL not certain whether or not he's going to lose in round 2 after two long games, or quickly go 2-0, 2-0 for a clean sweep!

Some people may claim that they had drafted perfectly. Some may also claim they drafted the perfect _____ deck. But this draft was absolutely the perfect draft on a Sneak n Show Reanimator deck. Although it did not feature a lot of reanimation spells, enablers, or targets, we get to see NO ANSWERS from the opposition. 😂 All the best hate cards were removed by the drafter those hate cards punish. This was brilliant 👏 👏 👏

26:39 The way you win that game is to just NOT cast the Brainstorm. You knew your opponents next play so you could wait a turn before casting it.

I was surprised to see picking Mystic Confluence over Volcanic.
I think this is the single strongest draft type in all this format. The animate sneak flash deck is too explosive. Turn 1 kills all through midrange and doubt it gets to late game, but devstating there as well. I think the only way to beat this deck is turn 1 kill decks lol, or heavy heavy control and bad draws from lsv.
What does it mean to be the strongest draft archetype in a format?

I think Misty is best fetch. Blue and green have some of the most strict color requirements (with black being similar). Green and blue both want fetches with Land recursion or cantrip shuffling respectively. Tarn and Delta definitely round out the top 3 though.

This is my style of reanimator. Normally my least favorite archetype but when it is more of a combo deck it is more fun. I really appreciate how much Archon speeds up reanimator too. Nothing more boring than a Griselbrand getting put into play and watching a player take 10 minutes to find a line that might win and still losing.
Maybe I'm missing something, but M1G3 why did we entomb for Archon instead of Emrakul which was lethal with Corpse Dance?

@SamKooshesh Corpse dance is an instant and emrakul shuffles off a trigger so entomb for emrakul corpse dance emrakul in response to the shuffle trigger is valid unlike worldspine or blightsteel which shuffle as a replacement effect

I love these decks, isn't it a 4v4 draft so who plays the 4th person? I was hoping for a 4th match😅
It's a swiss where each person plays 3 rounds and then the match scores of the teams are compared
I genuinely don’t know how you manage to get so unlucky every video and draw so many lands
I know it's because we watch him play SO many hands, but honestly watching such an amazing player get mana screwed makes me cackle every time.
Makes me think I can beat LSV if only for the fact that some percentage of the time he'll be 12 cards deep without a nonland card 😂

Is this Vintage cube that isn't on MTGo constantly open to the public or is it a special thing for pros? Would like to play vintage cube all the time without having to wait for them to put it on
They do the draft on a draft simulator and then just play matches with cards from their own collections directly. So if you and some friends have all the cards in the cube then you could do it. Big “if” though.

Are certain moxen better than others? Lsv takes them every time he sees them but never explains which are better
Any mox is pick 1 unless theres time walk,recall or sol ring basically.
It usually goes something like blue > black = red > white > green
This is because blue lets you get ahead on counter-magic and card advantage + blue is just great and has great planeswalkers + synergy with artifacts
Black and red are similar--can lead to real degenerate starts in reanimator and red aggro/tempo
White is great for white weenie to get out ahead--but it's only really great in a solid white weenie deck so it's more limited in use
Green is the worst because it already has a million ways to get ahead on mana anyway. Mox is nice but it really doesn't help that much (and it's a bit of a nonbo with some of the main strats like Craterhoof/natural order/skullclamp since green doesn't benefit from artifacts)

Someone needs to build an ai based on lsvs reasoning and picks. How insane would it be to have 5 bots and Lsv playing in a draft and seeing what crazy shenanigans they came up with.

WHy don't you invite The Ham to play in this- the guy is amazing at Cube. Guy should be in the hall of fame! @TheHamTV The better the competition the better the practise and content no? More allstars the better!
Most of the players on the server are PT champions, my friend. Ham is great but we're actually talking about a different level of talent with a lot of these guys lol
