Thanks for the video. Since you mention not to being afraid to use specials a lot, it would be good to also point out for beginners that if you get an Xtra wave you get one special, even if you used two during the regular waves. When I first started, I would try to "save" a special when my salmon meter was full in case the extra wave came. Obviously my success rate got better once I stopped doing that 😅 In case anyone doesn't know, YOU GET ONE SPECIAL TO USE DURING EXTRA WAVES.
I love Jammon. It's got a unique layout, funny boss salmonid spawns, and it aknowledges Omega-3's existence in the background! The layout for all tides are definitely a chargers dream in my opinion. Normal tide gives it the height advantage it wants, but the best part is that the narrow paths the salmonids need to get through means they're always lined up perfectly for some good piercing. Grizzco Charger on this was something else. One correction about high tide, there are actually three spawns. The left side has two ramps, one hook shaped one on the left, and a shorter one that's like the right spawn. It mostly just affects how often salmonids spawn from the left, but it's easy to see why anyone would forget about it. I sure have.

7:11 the easiest way I have found to make this work is by pressing both B (jump) and A (throw egg) buttons together and releasing both at same time. This helps and with that little bit of momentum and practice you can end up making it in basket. What I have found is making sure you let go of A first with B right after (couple frames later) to get it working quite well but thats what i have found so just keep practicing on it and see whats comfortable for you when throwing far eggs
definitely my favourite map, the only one ive reached 9s on so far (twice) save for big big run watching this to get better at it, really appreciate these guides 💪💪💪
In the glowfies rushes rollers should be next to the basket on the ramp and a player should be behind a roller to do get rid of chums. Also the tetra or splat brella that have glowflies the deploy brellas wall ramp next to the basket kills chums, but not Goldie. Also the boop from undercover brella kills chums too, plus painbrush rolls too. Good tips, plus I love this map.

I feel like if you have a weapon that allows you to move quickly you should look out to protect your teammates in high tide. Since there isn't much space and it can get very crowded, we need to help those players who have less mobility, like chargers, tenta brellas or blasters!
I find have momentum helps a lot. Easier to do if you’re not surrounded by enemies or in enemy ink too, so I’d recommend practicing on tornado waves to get a feel for it. Make sure the area is well painted and just try and keep momentum.
Hey! So I’ve done a lot of scenario code tournaments so with those codes, I’ve broken 250. I think my highest score comes from Big Run though, around 237. I think I’ve hit over 200 on every map except for Bay!
Late, but I am absolutely loathing this map right now. I managed to grind to EVP 999 on Bonerattle solo q just last night, but I can't even get to 200 on Jammin'. Clearly I need more practice but I find statics so brutal here. Teammates (and occasionally I) will die at shore so woefully often, and from there we either snowball wipe or miss quota due to constant downtime from ever rotating team member deaths. I'll try letting snatchers do the work and egg throwing. Hopefully have better results.
If this is regarding the rotation I think it is, then it was a rough rotation! It was one of the rare JSJ rotations where it actually felt difficult to do everything needed. Normally I find the map can deal with most comps so that rotation in particular was a challenging one. I’d def recommend an easier one. One of the biggest issues I noticed when playing this rotation was people’s inability to recognise when killing quickly and throwing eggs back outweighed standing at basket and luring. I think on JSJ this can be one of the trickiest things, as the map is quite long so once you go down there you have to really commit to it and make sure you’re gonna come back alive. Like you said, dying at the bottom is rough, one of the biggest things to help this is to go down with teammates to work collectively to defeat whatever is down there and reduce to risk of someone getting stuck down there on their own. Obviously if your team are all camping basket then there isn’t much you can do to get them to help, and at this point I’d recommend using specials to clear statics that are causing problems. What I’m trying to say is that I think this map is made hard by people wanting to lure everything and being too slow to react to changing situations.

The big shot spawns are definitely the worst parts of the map cause the canons have a tendency to be placed in the more restricted areas of the map

is it just me or is this map literally never in rotation? I have yet to play it even once
It was on yesterday! 😅 it may just be bad timing. I often find I miss Gone Fission rotas and never play them as much as the other maps…
