Okay. I agree with a lot of the stuff here, as for Peter accidentally shooting Cleveland Jr (that specific part of the episode), I honestly can’t put 100% of the blame on him. The only thing in that he did incorrectly was that he didn’t pull out his flashlight when he saw Cleveland jr trying to open the window. Excluding the flashlight thing, here is what Peter did correctly, he saw that there was a person (Cleveland Jr) he wasn’t able to get a visual identification of, due to the shadows, attempting to open the window of Cleveland’s house at night, which is already a red flag. so Peter issues a verbal warning for the person to stop, when the person didn’t listen and actually managed to open the window, Peter had pulled out his gun and aimed, but didn’t immediately fire, while telling the person to step away with their hands up. Then Peter saw that the person was reaching down toward their pocket, so given the tense situation Peter had believed this person was reaching for a gun or weapon and so Peter fired once, incapacitating Cleveland Jr. Now, this is what Cleveland Jr did incorrectly, when he got the window open, he saw that his neighbor and family friend, was aiming a gun at him, while Cleveland Jr couldn’t hear him because he was listening to music, Cleveland Jr reaches DOWN to grab his iPod or device he’s using to listen to music on, to pause the music so he can hear Peter. Due to the shadows, causing peter to not know it was Jr and not see what exactly he was reaching for, peter shot Cleveland Jr in the shoulder. When someone is pointing a gun at you (no matter who it is) the correct thing to do is to put your hands in the air to show you are not a threat. What Cleveland Jr should have done was this: when he sees Peter pointing the gun at him, he should have put his hands in the air and slowly stepped forward so Peter can see it is Cleveland Jr, then Jr can remove his earbuds or pause his music and he can explain to Peter why he’s trying to climb into the window of his house and things would have been better than what actually transpired. Now for the one I have to put more blame on for this whole thing: Cleveland himself. Why? It’s not because of what he did do, it’s because of what he DIDN’T do. Cleveland said NOTHING to the guys about him having his family climb in through the window to save air conditioning, even though he knew that he the guys would be patrolling the neighborhood with guns. If Cleveland had told them that piece of information, things would not have gotten that out of hand
