  • In this video I use my Nikon Z 180-600mm and share some of my tips and secrets to getting great wildlife photography shots. I've enjoyed using this Nikon lens for wildlife since getting it a few months ago. I understand the lens is on back order in a lot of countries, but the Nikon Z 180-600mm is good value for money and worth the wait.

If you were wondering how small those two Willie Wagtail hatchlings were, the adults are normally between 10 to 15cm in length. So they were probably no bigger than 3 or 4 cm 🙏📸

Hi Adrian, wow, a fantastic video, buddy! I think that is in general one of the most important things in photography, not only wildlife: to engage with your subject and its behaviour. Even landscapes have a kind of "behavior", especially when we consider their interaction with light and weather.
Thank you for your insights. I have to say, also for me as a more landscape "specialist" that was really, really interesting ☺
    Enjoy your weekend,
    Christian

Thank you for watching Paul. Glad you got a laugh out of the IG post. Timing just seemed to work perfectly for that clip. Agree re planning on any genre. Sometimes I over plan and should take my own advice and remember to enjoy and have fun in what I’m doing. Have an amazing week ahead mate. Cheers 🍻 🙏📸

Wow! How gorgeous were those babies? Some great footage there. The backlighting on mumma's wings there too - beautiful. Really cool tips and loved that black and white lizard - it's like he stepped into the spot light - really striking image.
