Kudos to the parents too! You kids probably don't realize how great it is to not have overprotective parents preventing you from doing this out of fear! Fantastic video. I loved every minute!
Pedaling Dave yeah what this guy said. My parents were always way too overprotective and that really cut off a lot of cool opportunities Ike furthering and improving my mtb skills.
These kids have NO idea how lucky they are to grow up in such a great place. I grew up outside of Sudbury Ontario, rode mtb everyday , raced all over and dreamed everyday of riding for a living. I should of moved to Whistler at age 18 and stuck it out. I'm 45 now and I seen mountain biking go from the first rockshox to the amazing bikes we have today. Wow who woulda thought they would be so awesome.
Nice video.nice to c the kids r having fun i love their reaction evertime their friends did a great jump.nice place to i wish we have that here in my place.
Sure, it´s nice to grow up there. On the other hand it rains a lot... Of course in relation to the number of mountainbikers in the world, how many live there? So what - there are always ways to improve and to have fun. I´m just back from my local trail in Germany and was very close to finally clear this 7m jump. Tomorrow is anther day!
@@ajsummerhayes4639 Don't feel bad about it, they have the infrastructure many others don't. It is only natural that they overshoot their skills at such young age.
Hey guy just wondering if you have some advices about how to hit a kick-up jump ( like very vertical). I m so scared of them so if you have any technical advices thanks !! Love from france !
Might be a little late (ok a lot very late) but if you haven’t done it yet just prepare yourself for a kick and make sure you have the right speed and you’re fine.
Mayeul Nada ah ok so basically you want to keep your weight back and in the air do not get stiff and pull a dead sailor which is when you freeze mid air and then inevitably crash. I’m pretty bad at explaining things but I hope this helped
Fun fact hardtails are much better for jumping I don’t buy full sus because it is terrible for jumps and pump tracks and drops. I have the money to but prefer hardtail because the trails are ride are shit for full suspension. Hardtails are day and night better for pumping and jumping. I put a fox 38 fork on and it is as smooth as a 7k carbon full sus. don’t need to go over equipped BIG PUSSY. the fact is that hardtails are overall better at jumping if your dead brain didn’t know pussy
oh man I wish I'd had this opportunity to grow up at a place like Whis, they don't know how lucky they are.
I agree, living even remotely near Whistler must be amazing

I’m so jealous of their childhood!
When I was their age I was pretty good. At Lego.
That feeling when their helmet cost as much as your bike
They’re all probably sponsored tho
Tom Hicks 😂
you must have a walmart bike then
nobryzskillz245 not necessarily. you can have a 900 dollar hard tail and some full face helmets are 1000 dollars so...
Harry Whittle what helmets are you looking at most of the good ones are around $200
That Jackson goldstone is going to be massive as he gets older
MaxTriple 9 yeah for sureee
He already is, he won last years crankworx whip off

Jackson makes it look to easy!! I bet in couple years hell be the fastest Canadian uci world downhill honestly!
he will be the next finn iles
He’s going for the free ride route probably not the UCI
After he just won hardline
Getting more stoke from this edit than a lot of the big budget ones... more sessions.
Damn if only this tech was around when I was a kid. What an amazing place to ride and such talented riders
Pinkbike should just make a "Pinkbike Whistler" channel and always make videos like this.
The skillz these kids have is mad!

To be fair it’s more dangerous to walk around a city as a young kid than it is to do crazy stuff on a mountain bike.
