into it Darren! .. I'm 50 and was out riding with my 8 yo who jumps better than me yesterday, we got to a sketchy part of a black run, my 8 yo says "I want to do it, but want to watch you do it first". The section didn't end so well for me (and paying for it today in pain), but it was all worth being out riding with my son and not just tagging along. Sure the ground seems harder to hit, but don't let fragile bones get in the way of priceless fun with your kids.
ya but something that helped me is, that i only look the way i am riding, i give a fuck what others say, then just have fun; thats the only way to get better!!! ~DrahtEsel Productions YT ;)
This segment aged REALLY well. Half these kids are top 50 UCI DH riders now and they’re just slaying. Not mention Jackson Goldstone leading the overall points standings!
That's so awesome to see our next generation of mountain bikers being so good so young. I'm glad I destroyed and sent back so many shocks, forks , cranks, bottom brackets and frames. Seeing these kids shred on awesome safe to bust out bikes makes growing up in the 80s n 90s n 2000s worth all the hospital trips.
%110 guaranteed all of these kids end up in the hospital at some point in their careers if they have not already been. Shred this fucking hard it happens to everyone.
IM 13 and started riding bikes since I was 4 but seriously started mountain biking about a 2 years ago I have improved so much and this inspires me to get better
As a 46 year old getting back into riding after a 6 year hiatus.. Thank you! I have to stretch a lot more, but totally worth it to get the feeling this crew got! MTB! Who says you cant stay young forever?
Whistler is legend and the kids are awesome. BC is blessed to have a park and youth like this. Down here in germany we‘re still years apart from this, but rising slowly. One day me and my family will join you there. Can‘t wait for it. Love and greetz 🤙🏻
Dinky daredevils are awesome to watch and they bring back my childhood days of jumping ramps at 7yrs old , at 9 i was doing "drop offs" off the garage roof ! at 42 i gave up bmx after i dislocated my feet , now im 51 and ride trails on a Trek 29r and i hurt alot but the ride is thrilling , my son still rides with me at 26 yrs . never ever give up the the pure rush of jump airtime !

Watched this video last night (I purchased awhile back) with our group of riders who are riding the Santos Fat Tire Festival tomorrow. Great job shooting mountain biking with unique character & narrative!
The thing is they were raised there with access to the best trails and amazing bike so if the practice then it’s not surprising they’re this good. Thought they are amazing and I am in no way am I trying to denigrate them
@@alex_2jz639 Dang Im guessing you live in northern germany? Bc southern germany is mountainous and is bound to have some good trails. Maybe take a trip down there when you have a break
@@yngrcklss2312 west germany, theres also a lot of hills here but you really cant find some nice trails in my area but im planning to go to a famous Bikepark called winterberg wich is 90 kilometres away from me
How the heck did this happen? Suddenly 12 year olds ride crabapple hit, with 15 they are steezy like the pros and with 18 they win world cup elite downhills.
What sized bikes do you think these kids are on? 24" 26" or even bigger? Seems like 24s usually have such low bars, but when they are all walking their bikes the bars seem mid-chest high, so my guess was 26s.
I am 13 years old, and I am watching like that : 😳. I want to learn to do this tricks, I dint even started, but I need time, because in the first try, I think it's impossible to do this. So great video. Like it. Thanks. Bye.
We live in an age of easy share moment capturing. As I read comments of bitter sweet sadness know one thing... perfect the landing and you’re no different than they are. I tell my kids all the time. Just because one is seen being great at something never means you can’t be too... it just means they had the opportunity. I could bunny hop 3-1/2 feet high on my GT BMX bike and clear monumental gaps... and full suspension mountain bikes weren’t created yet when I was a child. Cheer up and be happy for those kids and go out and buy yourself a fast car to drive. They’ll be equally impressed with you as you are of them. It’s all about opportunity, that’s all.
my 4 years old daughter was watching...and she said "dad we need to learn how to jump" wth I'm 50 years fragile bones.
I know a 60 year old who's insane with jumps. Age is not a valid excuse, start small and wear proper protection.
Maybe you should see if Dennis McCoy will adopt her after he bitch slaps you.
Far out he can't even write properly he must be old,
And also why does a 50 year old have a 4 year old daughter
