Jake McClintock yeah it’s expensive but it’s so worth it. To get started buy a budget hardtail for about 700 or 800 maybe a bit less. A few good brands for that are brands like, trek, vitus, cannondale, cube and many more. Just do your research and it’s worth the money. Also buy a good helmet👍🤘😂💵

This looks so fun, I've never tried it. It doesn't look too difficult watching it, but could be harder than it looks. I always watch mountain bike videos, they are relaxing to watch
haha it's 2x as steep as the video shows and they are pros.. A lot of people take one look at the stuff they are dropping into at speed and just walk down and they have been riding a while. All pros make it look fun, it's scarier than all hell but it's also a rush and a good way to push yourself. Just remember, you wanna play, you gotta pay.. and boy will you at some point but it's worth it!
There're some good lines in there, and some good lines - "It looks like it's never been ridden!" and "The fact that you've ridden Red Bull Rampage, but you're questioning yourself here, says a lot."

Matt, I love the way that you stoke-out when you land something-even things “below” you amazing level of skill. I laugh & scream & giggle while riding too (at a considerably lower skill level)! That’s what it’s all about! It’s also good to know the big boys like twisty flowey blue-just like old farts, such as I. 😁
If you go to the Top of the World and ride, "Ride, Non't Slide" , that is what I think is the best trail on Whistler, once you go ride that trail and ride Goats Gully after it is easy once you get used to riding Ride Non't Slide. Killer video by the way. Love it.
watching matt in this video and the most recent ones has made me want to go out and get some sort of mountain bike and go find some beginner trails here in arizona lol
It felt so cool watching this and seeing pros hit the same trails I did. I went during covid and did creekside without knowing the lift was closed, was a fun 45 minute bike ride in 35⁰ weather along the highway on a DH bike to get back to blackcomb, it was definitely worth it
