This has been a long time coming and for any mountain biker would bring a huge amount of excitement! It’s been over 5 years since I had a triple clamp downhill mtb fork on a bike. And this Marin Alpine Trail enduro bike is perfect to take a travel reduced downhill fork! So it’s time for me to build and ride my very own downhill park bike with upgraded suspension and epic bike parts! Enjoy the build and massive shoutout to Brink Bike Shop for all their help and support and of course the suspension set up! I’m heading to Bike Park Wales now to film a riding video on this bike on their brand new huge freeride jump line!

More and more people are slapping Dual crowns on enduro bikes and I'm honestly here for it. Stoked to see what you do on this rig Matt
It's just logical. For hard riding dual crown is better.
Went I was a teen, we slapped dual crowns on a hard tail 🤘😆
@@hannes6114 I think it feels (and is) safer, but look at Brandon Semenuk, who rode Rampage with single crown. I am more and more convinced that single crown forks also do a good job and are lighter. But for races it's still fun especially if you have more than one bike ;)
Edit: ik rampage is not that hard anymore but still impressive.

You need a sign at the top of the roll in that says “fix your divot’s” basically meaning fix your marks when you case like when a golfer misses the ball and hits the ground making a divot
It would match the fairway to heaven perfectly

@@haggismunch he was invited last year but he didn't want to compete becuse he didn't have the bike for it I'm not 100% sure but I saw videos of him being at redbull rampage with Danny McCaskill I think
@@domenzemljic6876 he was doing content for redbull, you need to be invited or do well in their entry event which called proving grounds

I'm so excited to see you finally on a DH bike and that Marin is making it that; While already subscribed, I've liked it, Now commented on it, And actually waited through all of the commercials instead of skipping through. I look forward to the rest of the series. Also a request... When I was learning to jump and ride downhill back in the late '90's, I would almost always test out new jumps on my DH bike first and then progress to my slalom/jump bike, no matter how NorCal steep or size. It's just a subtle difference in the timing of the pump between the two bikes. I'd love to see you find that timing and show the world that they can ride anything anywhere with the right technique.
