I agree with you regarding kickstarter. Yes, there’s many pros but for me personally, I just get so impatient buying something that I know won’t be arriving for a good while (and in some cases, a good long while.)
Gorgeous selection of decks chosen. I can’t even imagine how giddy I’d be to be surrounded by your incredible collection. I’d be the equivalent of a child on Christmas morning, lol.

so, I just recently found you yesterday, I stopped because I was buying so many, and I love them all. I have my own fav's. Yesterday, I also purchased the Pixie's Whisper Tarot and the Christmas Pixie Tarot from Etsy also. Today you showed me Le Tarot arthurien by Claire Duval, this is what gets me into trouble, lol. I too just recently found Kickstarter. I just put my first oracle inspirational deck, waiting for the approval so I can publish. Now, I am obsessed with Kickstarter, I did a pledge on one I hope will make it to print. Can't wait for your next upcoming venture. Oh, BTW, loved the placemat you had in this video, I too like to applique sewing, so loved that. I love unique and different things, I don't want what everyone else does, the over produced tarots or oracles, I like the more hidden gems, like Kickstarter.
A few of my fav's: Vice Versa, Double Major Arcana, Thoth, The Hermetic Tarot, tree of life oracle and a few others that not many people flock to. Those are my gem's. But, thank you so much for sharing these very unique tarot decks.

YES, totally agree with number 1. I was lucky to pick one up and want to use it but don’t want to use it. Maybe a second edition to use and keep my first edition in the collection. The cards and images are amazing RWS. Thanks for all your content and happy new year.

I can’t have any or at least many i have a small private room most rooms are shared by 2 residents, im 67 and most residents arein their 80’s so i don’t have much in common so i spend most of my time like a hermit. My daughter is the administrator here which is good for me, but she blames my poor health oon my tarot cards and I get a good preaching at on my use of my cards. There is no privacy , when staff finds out about my cards they all need a reading.i gave half of my decks to my pagan daughter, i have 2 daughters youngest is pagan and single and oldest is conservative Christian and administrator here. Well im your greatest fan

love your top ten choices, and as I follow your deck reviews I'm not surprised by your picks Simon, as in keeping with your level of enthusiasm when unboxing them. That Serpent and the Peacock is the one I would love to get my hands on and I love The Tarot of the Holy Spectrum as well. The Tarot Des Ambiguites is pretty special too 😜

Great choices Simon, The Somnia Tarot is also in my overral top 10 of all time, I adore this deck, I love it even more because it's a marmite deck, I know people who are terrified of it, can't stand it or adore it's shadow beauty & inventiveness like me, what a tarot trailblazer.
Thank you for the inspiring impression of "Earth Magick"! I really like the elegant card shirt. Perhaps this association will seem quite strange, but I had thoughts about the deep harmony of this deck and the "Tabula Mundi". The systems are different, but there are similarities in the depth of image processing, in the complexity of ideas. This is real art as it is!
Please forgive me for the many individual comments. I watch videos at night after work, because of this I write a separate message about each of the decks.

So much to say! I love the New Voice tarot! I bought two and Im not usually down with inclusivity decks. I prefer what reflects in my life. Yet, something very appealing about the way he does inclusivity.
Also, I backed the art deck of Serpent and Peacock tarot and it’s so lovely I didn’t want to use it. She has a great sale on her deck with the words on the bottom so I bought that to use regularly. I really like it! Card stock isn’t lush but definitely one to be used!

The Tarot Ambiquites (probably totally misspelled it) really interests me. It is so unique but I can't d3cide if I love the humour and quirkeness of it (like some cards that you showed really made me smile) or if it's to much of that for me.
Totally get that you already put the Pip Speak in. This deck is stunning. Love the box, the artstyle, the way the pips are drawn, the little sparkles that really feel like they were intentionally put on each card (not to much, not to little). It just makes the pips feel exciting which sometimes they can feel kind of boring looking at.
The Tarot Athurien... probably the first deck that I will actually buy from my wishlist in 2024. Ana is one of my all time favourite artists. All of her artpieces are just stunning. Haven't seen one where I'm like that's just ok. Plus she depicts the card meaning so well, so it's not just pretty. So every deck with her artwork I'm like: I have to get it. Don't even feel the need to watch a full flupthrough cause I know I will love it.
The New Voice definitely made it on my wishlist now. Never got the nrws that the creator of the New Choice TdM had another tarot deck based on RWS. The New Choice is one of my favourite TdMs. And the new one looks gorgeous as well.
I enjoyed watching this, some lovely deck choices. If I did a Top 10 Tarot the Somnia would definitely be on my list too. I don’t have the Arthurian Tarot by Ana Tourian yet but I will get it. Just wish the book was in English or dual language 🥰❤️

Beautiful selection of luxury decks. I’ve decided this year I can no longer justify international shipping costs so out of my price range ( apart from ‘Arthurian’ but an enjoyable window shop nonetheless. Thankyou
earth magick 💙yeah, i've loved that deck this year. i'm so glad you talk about the lines in some of the cards (13 cards have it, i think). it's a bit distracting, but it helps to know why they are the way they are. ana's artwork is absolutely gorgeous. i've had abyss since 2021 and loooove it. i love her arthurian deck, but over the last 6 years or so i've really become a pip reader. if the cards don't show the pips...sigh...well. omg, the serpent and peacock art edition (eeee!). i'm so very glad i got that deck! i had the first edition and was frustrated with it. *this* edition is pure gold (obviously, my opinion). hope you have a lovely holiday season.

Hello! I am very, very grateful to you! It was this video and your story about "The Somnia tarot" that inspired me! Yesterday I opened my copy of the deck! It's like I've come home. Only the tarot of Thoth caused me such delight and feelings of recognition..
The cards impressed with clear, clear and sobering answers. The deck described itself as a Magician. The strange thing is that I feel a connection with the photographic version, but I don't like the new illustrated one. In the original deck, I don't feel the darkness and depression that many people write about. On the contrary! This deck is similar to Ariadne's thread, which leads to light and a clear view of oneself. Even my first conversation with the cards showed it!

One more in my top (however many) is the Baroque tarot by LaMuci. I really love the art and the cards from stock to finish are amazing to me.

Tarot Des Ambiguites is also one of my favourite decks of 2023, what a quirky, oddball, genius deck, heads/pentacles, legs/wands, hearts/cups, arms/swords, I mean a completely bizarre traditional/non traditional Marseille shadow work deck, fusing with grace, elegance & humour various styles.
Yay! Top 10! I'd be happy with Top 100, but you be true to you! I have preordered Tarot of Echoes, and I'm waiting for Le Tarot Arthurien. Thank you for including New Voice, I will check that out. I appreciate the gender inclusivity, but I'm also always looking for size diversity and age diversity, so I will take a closer look at this deck as a hopeful option. One of the things I really appreciate about your videos is that you discuss the publishers and how you have accessed the decks, which is SO helpful! Happy Winter Solstice!

Tarot Of The Holy Spectrum is also in my top 10 ever favourite decks, I adore it, it's just perfection, it manages to straddle the line between shadow work & light work effortlessly. I have the silver Infinity edition also which carries a different vibe/energy completely to the original, I prefer the original, but the Infinity is still also perfection.

I also got New Voice Tarot, a lot of people love readings with this deck, my only gripe is the size of it, it's a chonker and a challenge to shuffle, but it pops like a graffiti work of art shrunk into a tarot deck, bold, bright, burst of colours, vibrancy, it's just a ray of sunshine this deck.

Hi Simon--I've been watching your channel for quite a while, but this is my first comment--I've got to share that I had a VERY interesting experience when you posted your initial video about the Retina Waite Smith. I've never had it happen before, but the moment I saw the **backs** of the cards (even before the fronts) I thought, "I have to get this deck." I placed the order right then and there, before I even finished watching the video, and I am SOOOOOOO lucky to have snagged what I realize now must have been one of the last copies. The deck is as stunning as you say, and the cardstock is the best I've ever experienced. I simply can't put it down, it's so satisfying to work with. I hope, for the sake of all those who didn't get a copy but want it, that the second edition will be exactly the same. Because I agree with you--I don't see how they could make it better. Someone may have mentioned by now but Matt Green just finished KickStarting "The Marseille at Night" and it looks amazing. I don't work with them a lot & only have a couple now. I want his Green Menagerie, that's how I ran across his campaign 😊 Can't wait to get it. Is your 8 of Swords in Menagerie mislabeled as XIII? That was reported as an error in the 1st Edition according to his Etsy shop.
Love Somnia; have the FS book set. It's also based on his sleep paralysis experiences, which I find both creepy and fascinating. Great picks all 💜

Hi Simon! Could I get your insight into decks vs tarot tiles? I am debating buying some of Jamie's beautiful tiles before the year ends because she's retiring the sets (SKT Vitruvian which is now out of print and her Lenormand) I'm interested in. I noticed you recently bought her tiles in RWS, but they didn't end up on this list. Is it because you consider them separately? Any insight is greatly appreciated! I firmly believe Jamie charges fairly for her work, but I'm torn on if I'd use them enough to "justify" the cost 😅 or how, since I'm newer to tarot and they are (understandably) expensive. Thanks so much!
Oh they wasn’t on the list as I bought the 3 years ago I believe. They are wonderful, but if honest I don’t use them very often at all. I really should 🙏🏼❤️

There is something deeply irrational and touching hidden in The Somnia tarot. I love the art of photography, but never thought of a deck of photo cards.
The Somnia tarot has not let me go for months. Every time I come across information about it online, I feel a strong inner response. I hope one day to set aside enough money and decide to buy it. In my country it costs about a hundred euros.

I'm done with Kickstarter decks. The last one I pledged was available MM before we got our pledges. I don't appreciate paying to be part of someone else's hype machine.
I want Somnia SO BAD but it's over $100 Canadian and it's just not in the budget.
I can relate to that, there are so many decks I want that fall into that Category
I don’t love RWS, but the Retina Waite Smith is changing my mind. It’s just gorgeous.
I just went back through the decks I got this year, and I can’t honestly pick a top ten, because while I got twenty new tarot decks over the course of the year, only five have really made an impact so far, and one of them (Nine Lives Cat Tarot) I haven’t actually worked with yet.
The other four are the Gentle Tarot Pocket Edition, the Thoth Journey Tarot (these two are tied for first place), the Pastoral Tarot and the Cozy Witch Tarot. The Maze and Labyrinth decks are amazing too, and I’m really looking forward to working with them further.

Wootique had the illustrated Somnia Tarot ( £65 ). But of course they sold out really quickly. I was able to get the Serpent and the Peacock three moons though, so that’s something.

I actually have stated my one favourite deck of 2023. Its unheard of for me to decide 10, or 20, usually. This one is so easy. It arrived & it was my heart. No extra time needed.
Le Tarot Arthurien is one of my favourite decks ever! My top 3 also consists of Bohemian Gothic (FINALLY !) & the Joker tarot - a KS i only received last week that took my breath away.
