- The DruidCraft Tarot by Phillip and Stephanie Carr-Gomm, Artwork by Will Worthington first came into my life in April 2005 and has remained a constant companion since.
Combining the spiritual traditions of Wicca and Druidry, this pagan centred tarot, takes us on a journey to connect with the tales and mysteries of the British Isles, while the Celtic symbology helps us uncover the messages of the Tarot.
The powerful artwork of this deck helped me understand myself and my life from the perspective of the tarot and in turn, helped me provide powerful readings for others. I believe if we can find our own story in a deck, we'll find it easier to reveal the stories of those we are reading for.
This deck has since been reissued and is available from all great bookstores.

I used to have the Gilded tarot; i loved it! It was my favourite tarot. The devil in that deck is just a hot ass guy 😂 I do not read for people anymore, just myself or accational friend/family. But when i did read for others earlier; if i had not read for myself first when they told me to (i am so stubborn), I would not get cards for the people i would read. A buch of cards would just jump out of the deck and it was all my cards 😅 Happened every time, so i had to make sure i read for myself first if i wanted to ge anything done...Anyone else had this experience? I love the fact that you find the Queen the mastery of the suit because that feels just right! They are coming from their heart (love is the highest frequency) whilst Kings are more about power and autonomy.

I love this POV. Usually, in my culture, it is the women who are good at everything. They are hands-on and are so involved in what they do. They are passionate and take charge more. They do not care about what others think; if it makes their kids' lives better, they will do it. There is so much more power in the Queen cards, at least in my cultural perspective. I have usually seen King cards as being more passive. More like, "Eh, been there. I know about this already. You guys go." Maybe because of my experiences with men (and fathers) in my culture being more passive. In my culture, the most "powerful" members of the family have the least number of menial tasks to do. I really do need to "redeem" how I see male figures because they exist, but for now, this is how I roll.
Think about it ALL multi god religions worship the female ( life giver/ bringer of spring etc) before the male or she's an EQUAL to the male god in most old style communities females are in CHARGE men are absent hunting/ farming/ or in today's world have left for a city to earn $, women rule the home they are the KEEPER of society & culture males are NEEDED to back her up in tht position because there comes a time in point were her authority is questioned and a LARGE male will STOP tht questin in a heartbeat but a female rules the WORLD in societies were males have tried to dominate or there is an imbalance in power there is strife war arguments without rain ( feminine--> life plants can't grow but they need the power (male) of the sun) they balance each other out
@jdb6026 men in some cultures are so passive even dare I say JUVENILE ( the only thing adult abt them is they produce semen and impregnate females at the drop of a pair of panties) our current society ( america) DOESNT DEMAND adult behavior from most males and if they are adulting it's maybe 50% capacity leaving housework ( where they make a mess ) undone they attempt childcare and its so sloppy tht the moms will take over even if she has a 102° and vomiting and if he pays the bills/ works he feels if he is at 100% adulting WRONG how often have you listened to baseball stories or about traffic hoping tht in return you can speak about something emotionally IMPORTANT too you and it doesn't HAPPEN or here's the worst the sex dept if you try to encourage him or redirect gently for YOUR NEEDS they get anger think your insulting them or they don't even wanna bother with your needs I try to explain like a restaurant to men " wht if we went to eat you said " let's go out and eat" and you were the only one ALLOWED TO EAT ---> now im hungry too I looked at menu pointed at wht I wanted but when the waiter showed only YOU ORDERED & ate I was ignored ( you were fully aware I was starving) HOW FAIR IS THT ??? and men don't realize not being um prepped for sex hurts and leads to UTI's for females and if there has been some prepping I'd its not completed leaves us UNCOMFORTABLE AND ANGRY & HURT women get ripped in our society because of the lack of respect bred into the religious framework of most ppl

It's amazing how ACCURATE tarot can be I come from a family of root drs ( herbalist ie root worker tarot card reader pendulum reader sometimes the local midwife counselers haunte readers) they were extremely common in the Afro-American communities in the southern u.s my grandma was extremely good but my mother went the opposite way and became an uber Christian belonging to a cult but I have returned to the practices of my family I hate my moms let ALL tht info die the first time I picked up a deck it worked it can SCARE / CONSOLE ppl I appreciate all the info your providing I just found you I find comfort when I read the cards just for me I wish you would do a video on practical magic like salting your house on a full moon from evil again thank you for all the research you have done

This deck has been on my radar several times now and since you've shown how it differs in it's simplistic representation of the suits/seasons, etc. I can easily 'see' it's 'natural' connotations and, now, feel more drawn this deck. 💖🙌😺

After starting a course to learn Reiki I suddenly really wanted a tarot deck to meditate with and I chose the Wildwood deck which also has artwork by Will Worthington. I absolutely love this deck and it is very similar to the Druid deck, with standing stones, the Green Man and ancient folk lore. I should imagine you also have the Wildwood and the Greenwood Decks. I just found your channel and enjoyed listening to a Scottish accent talking about tarot. I am also from the UK.
Now, I might have to get myself yet another deck....😮
The same artist and author also have the Animal and Plant Tarot decks. Some of us combine the 3 decks together to use

My favorite tarot deck (at least in terms of fully scenic decks) is the English Magic Tarot. Its illustrated in the style of mid century comic books and draws from the magical history of England, specifically in the fifteenth through sixteenth centuries: the time of Henry VIII, and John Dee, before science and the occult went their separate ways. I really like this one as well. Might have to add it to the collection. I can tell it'll be part of my regular rotation!

One card only that I can think of. 6 of Coins in the Angel Wisdom Tarot by Radleigh Valentine. Not sure, but I believe the young woman portrayed is someone Radleigh knows.
Thank you! Relating the suits to the elements help me to relate to the personality of the suit cards more. I find the Rider Waite deck has good info but the images are not diverse or inclusive.

Trying to find a deck that I resonate with. I trimmed the Druid Craft deck down to a reasonable size, and love it. I also tried a standard RWS deck, but don't resonate with the 'Christian' themes, and also tried Thoth. But honestly, trying to understand Thoth, you virtually have to have studied Crowley's 'Book of Law', then understand and practice astrology and the kabbalah, plus numerology helps. I just found it SO confusing, and believe in the K.I.S.S. method when it comes to learning something- Keep It Simple Stupid. ;) So I've returned to the Druid Craft deck because it resonates more strongly with me- and you definitely don't need a degree in rocket science to understand it.
What other tarot decks do you use.
