Yea, Goth isn't any one specific sound and The Cure do not call themselves Goth. Seen Robert Smith say he hates that label applied to The Cure. This is darker sounding than the original - fact.
I had the original version on red vinyl so - this was a great cover. When I already loved Joy Division. I will never forget that because I believe this was the best cover ever. And it was so brutal to this blood red thing turning and depressing me.

I’m pretty sure forever burned is a comp from 2003 (so the last thing ever made by swans before the decision to re make the band) which has the entirety of the burning world, some songs from white light and love of life and this
