E39 Kristiandand Mandal. AF Gruppen. Cat352 Next Gen loading road trucks.

AF Gruppen is building for Nye Veier a new E39 as a four-lane highway with speed limit 110 km/h for the 19 kilometre long stretch of Kristiansand west to Mandal east. The project also includes new direct access from E39 to Mjåvann Industrial area. The development starts in the Fidjane area in Kristiansand and ends at Døle bridge in the east of Mandal municipality. The route runs through the municipalities of Kristiansand, Songdalen, Søgne and Mandal.
In the video taken on 2 days from 22nd and 23rd of March 2022, blasted rocks are loaded by Cat 352 Next Gen, transported by a fleet of Volvo road trucks to a fill on the project. Trucks will be soon used with trailers to increase capacity and move rock to the port of Kristiansand.

How many cubic meters is that bucket and truck?

The bucket on the machine is 3.5m3,
And the trucks in this configuration carry 16 tons about. A bit later on the trucks were driving be an additional trailer to push the capacity to ~30 tons.

@@kristenpetillon5671 thank you for the response:) I'm from Finland and have been around for many small road constructions for forestry, but usually its much smaller equipment ex Kobelco Sk200 and older Volvo bm wheelloaders. The trucks are starting to get to that same size though with new 8x4 volvos.
