Finally, he sets off home with a new mission: in this darkest of moments for England, can he find some political hope of his own?

      Gareth Wareth You do know the Labour have increased their likening with the Tories. Hence their nickname the Tories in Red. Labour is more for the people, but in Scotland, they're trying to brand themselves as SNP without Independence, even though it's the Tories under Ruth whom attract die-hard Unionists, and Kezia with her anti-SNP, anti-Austerity whilst simultaneously siding with the Tories that obliterated their support.

    Whilst this is great for Scotland.. its awful over all for the UK. You see the Sun supports SNP in Scotland, but Tories in England (Hmm I wonder why that is).. then many more turn and vote SNP, snapping the Labour votes down allot. Now the UK is divided and the guy who said that there will be allot more division and hatred between Scottish and English people is correct. Therefore getting allot of English people to think the SNP are bad and Torries fight the good fight. Who's agenda does that serve? Not the common man, that is for sure :/

      Proxel The Sun and the rest of the right-wing press hate the SNP. Scottish Sun only support SNP now because they knew who ould win the election. The Scottish Sun coming out in support for the SNP the day before the election didn't change anything. The damage was done months ago, we knew SNP would win a landslide.

    • @proxel96
      @proxel96 9 лет назад

      Luath True, support for the SNP has been building for a long time. Either way I still believe it serves Rupert Murdoch's interest to support the SNP in Scotland and Tories in England, even when it is already sealed. Not saying the Sun was the deciding factor, but I think it does show their agenda quite well.

    Can someone please explain how becoming independent will change anything? The party wants a currency union (a currency run by a foreign central bank). They want to retain the monarchy and they also want to join the eu which has clearly stated that scotland will need to re apply as a new sovereign nation. these are the facts. i still have no understanding bar emotive reasons as to why anybody in scotland would vote for this, considering the lack of planning and engagement of any other alternatives. And also, can anyone explain how the SNP plan to fund their uber generous welfare plan?

      Brian Mchugh Corbyn is extremely popular with the public, it's just retarded blairites shaking their heads and hissing "MOST UNORTHODOX. MOST UNORTHODOX, I SAY!" within the ranks of his own MPs that are truly against him in the left wing.
      Unfortunately while Corbyn is admired in Scotland for the most part, it's the Labour party itself the Scottish people have seemed to lose faith in.
      At the same time I can't say that the SNP have done a brilliant job. Not sure why they've remained so fervently popular. I dunno who the vote for as, despite being pro-Corbyn myself, just hate Scottish Labour. Hate the SNP, ScotLab, the Lib Dems and, most of all, the Tories.
