chionomushi but as far as using a rotary for racing is concerned, it's worth about double it's actual displacement. So a rotary competes as a 2.6l, which is much closer to the 3.0 in the gtr
Not a GTR fanboy but the GTR looks faster on the straight away and light corners, the FD is kinda stale in the straights when the R34 zooms, with the acceleration and good understeer, the GTR can enter corners at a fast speed.
I really appreciate the actual car enthusiasts here that actually know what they are talking about, instead of the low life degenerates that think a supra can beat a ferrari stock on a quarter mile.
Literally nobody believes that a stock Supra can do that. Nobody in the history of the human race. A Supra can be easily modified to beat a Ferrari in a drag race, though.
The Fujita Engineering FD is faster in the corners for sure, but it oversteers a bit too much, especially on throttle. The inferior traction ultimately hurts the driver's confidence and ability to push it. Mistakes tend to cost more time and over a longer stint, it will wear down the driver more
I doubt if Kobayashi-san of MCR would drop his philosophy of retaining creature comforts with crazy power and handling, because that R34 would be a real monster dropping 100-200kg off it lol

Think it had more to do with the setup to be honest there are plenty of videos and stories of GTR’s that don’t understeer near as hard as that one down touge tracks

Its a touge battle. You dont start side by side, its a cat/ mouse chase. Car in front is the mouse car behind is the cat. You take turns leading than second round following and the winner is determined by wich car out run the other car better or wich car catch up to the mouse. It is initial d style rules.
Legend says if you break the secret lap record on C1, the MCR GTR will appear and challenge you to race.

S15 could barley keep up it wasn’t designed for that kinda curvy track but the handbrake was dope

All that matters is that Amemiya kicked the GT-R's butt a year later with the same stock turbo boost-up setup.

if you do the best time. The pilot go in first secon or 3th like in rally so the time was différent and the 2nd can have better time than the 1st :)
