Don't understand Stellantis' thinking on batteries. First they gave their cars batteries which were too small at 45/46kw usable capacity, now they give their latest vehicle too big a battery, which is going to have a serious affect on the price. The sweet spot seems to be 55-60 kw usable, for a +320km real world range, while keeping costs for new car buyers, if not affordable, at least not stratospheric. Yet another SUV type vehicle which automatically uses more energy because of weight and aerodynamics. Thought the point of ev's was to save the planet. The increased energy consumption caused by large and heavy SUV style vehicles is negating the benefits they bring. Pity. Tesla have shown that it is possible to have a lower slung car with good efficiency and reasonable looks and a reasonably sized battery, but still giving over 320km real world range, that can tow and take a roof rack. If the Model 3 was a hatchback, it would be almost perfect. Aerodynamics is the key due to the lack of height reducing frontal area and overall surface area. along with lower weight achieved by less metal needed for the lower car and a smaller battery then required to achieve the same range as the taller and heavier SUV. Even the e308 which should be more efficient due to its lack of height will likely have too small a battery in real world range and probably won't have a tow rating. When is that car ever going to be released? If MG can provide a 500kg tow rating for its smaller vehicles, surely Stellantis and the other legacy manufacturers can do the same? The e3008? A nice enough looking car, but it needs the big battery to achieve the big range, instead of using aerodynamics with a smaller, cheaper battery to achieve the same range. ach
German car manufacturers should go to bushes. Nailing design from Peugeot. Its started from 2016-2017. But this 2023-2024 design language just wow. And its not super car brand. Affordable.
And steering wheel should be round because when you put car sideways it is a lots of work with hands and it helps that steering wheel is always in equal place.
What is nice is that it will have V2L. What is not nice, that 160kw charging speed. Tesla model 3LR has 250kw, kia ev6 an ionik5 have 350kw. At the end of the day i think it will all come down to price versus how much km in real traffic can you make whit it. If the 700km will get you a 500km in real traffic condition and the price is around 50-55k then it will be a hit in sales.
These days most large batteries provide more than enough range for people. It's no longer about range anxiety, but charging anxiety. Better charging infrastructure will make it better.

🚗 are for driving and not for looking in tv while driving. 🚗 like this should be illegal 🤮🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮
Illegal?
Ridiculous car, big battery pack, enormous weight, and here you are....700km range. This car shows what's wrong with European bev's... . Designed like an Ice, to expensive, to much weight, and all look like each other.
Gigacasting is the future like Tesla shiws, and many Chinese brands, 600 parts less, 50% lower production costs etc etc. If Stellantis will not follow Tesla, Chinese and Toyota in this, they are finished... .
560kg for the larger battery...
These cars won’t deliver anything near those ranges 😂😂 Wish these propaganda pieces would give us actual real world stats instead of the manufacturers pretend numbers 🤔
We can only quote WLTP figures until we drive it and see what it does in the real world.
@@CompletecarIeunderstandable but you should be caveating the numbers you give in the video with the reality that the stated ranges will rarely, if ever, be achieved.
刚买的3008 尼玛😅😅😅
恭喜
It will be a ridiculous price! Aren't all electric cars! and don't forget to park it well away from anything combustible!!!
Don't be silly
Internal combustion cars are much more likely to explode or catch fire. They literally run on mini explosions that are constantly being contained and controlled. Electric car prices are going down but still high, electric cars tend to hold value better as they require less maintenance.
@@mathewm3073 😂😅😂😅 are you even on the same planet as the rest of us 700 km of range 😂😂😂 that'll be in perfect weather/temperature conditions and brand new as well but even then i'd challenge you to attain that milage in fact I'd wager every thing I have that you couldn't. 😂😂 hold their value better Where are your facts of that? Because they CLEARLY DO NOT. The fact that they are MORE dangerous is that they combust generally when they are not being driven!!! Unlike the ICE motor vehicles so they are not under supervision oh, and one more thing im a MECHANICAL ENGINEER and when the day comes that I'll need someone else to explain the workings of an ICE i expect I'll be pushing up daisies

What a tool you are misinformed and delusional but then show us your qualifications is it that the point your opinion is just that . Peugeot must have invested billions in design and tech just to fail lol 🤔😂😂
