A good skye mechanic that I see sometimes in pro play is faking a flash, left clicking and then letting the bird fly while you peek. Chances are that your enemy will look away and get faked. This only works in higher ranks tho

@@simplejames1642 when they turn away from the flash they get flashed for a milisecond and they barely get flashed so they can turn around again and they get to kill you, also ive played skye alot so i faked flashed alot too, they wont turn around to you unless the flash pops trust me

7:58 - Skye does not always say "Blinded!" when she blinds someone, but rather the explosion of the bird makes a sound similar to a crystal breaking if someone is caught in the flash. (This counts for both friendlies and enemies)
adding onto this, "blinded" just means someone was in the vicinity of the bird - she'll say it even if the person dodges the flash and aren't truly blinded.
adding onto this, she says "blinded" if you blind an ally, too.

While in iron and bronze, just say “bad English please use pings” then mute lobby. I stopped doing this once I hit silver, I’m now gold.
0:15 - Patch 5.03: Neon got patched and now her ult deals more headshot damage, less lower body damage and takes more time to kill if you just randomly shoot a person without aiming at their head.
2:48 - Patch 5.01: Kayo's molly now doesn't need line of sight with an enemy in order to do damage, but it has a smaller radius.

1:40 Actually, It's kinda useful when you want to know how to keep a steady crosshair in maps. It helped pre aim better. All you need to do is die to fall damage and revive where you want your clone to be standing on.

The first Phoenix trick works with Viper as well. But you have to aim directly upwards at the sky. As soon as the circle of sound reaches a location you are facing shoot the molly and it will land on that specific location.
for sage's slow orb?
It wont replace actual lineups due to the short distance that circle is. Most of the time its just better to launch it forward at those short ranges

Fun fact, to stop omen from grabbing bomb with his ult anywhere, have your teammate stand exactly where the bomb is at on top of it, it will stop him from spawning inside an already existing character model on spike

Brimstone +1 tip, the ultimate + defuse combo can be used without the smoke, since in a recent patch they made it so the ultimate actually blocks LoS on the minimap.
For the Phoenix molly tip, it works with other agents as well you can try it on kay/0, sage, kj and viper too

For some agents you don't need lineups because if you walk forward and look straight up the projectile will land directly in the sound circle Infront of you it just takes a while

The Sage mechanic is actually useful to train your crosshair placement. You can stand on common spots and revive yourself so it acts like a bot. It's easier to do with friends but you can also use the fall damage to die

The fact that you think shooting on bots that only spawn horizontally will give you good crosshair placement says a lot about you. Good luck playing on maps like Icebox if your practice only consists of moving your mouse left and right

That phenix lineup also works with all agents just look completely up and run when that circle touches the spike throw u r ability. Don't look completely up with phenix
it is key to note that it only works with "throwables" so brim molly and sova darts will just shoot straight up even if you are moving while looking up.
Just a tip on air strafing on Raze, change your Q ability and ultimate to buttons on the side of your mouse. Makes it a whole lot easier to make those turns while air strafing.

When you plant against the sage wall, you can turn opposite of the wall and it won’t break because it’s not pushing into it.

With skye's bird u can bounce it on corners so its a bit more faster.
4:42 you can do this too with kill joy or other agents so look all the way up then run then when the circle is at the spike you use the molly

The Reyna heal actually heals you for how much damage you to the the enemy that dies. For example if you give an assist and do for example 70 damage and your teammate finishes them off and you get the heal, but you took damage so let's say you have 50 health left, you go up to 120 and not 150. That's why sometimes you heal with Reyna and you don't fully heal
@@kellerman831 Then depending on how much health THEY had left you will heal. So if they are low and have say 30 hp remaining and you didn't get shot you heal to 70 hp.

I would say a very helpful mechanic to know for chamber is that the leg shots from his ult deals 150 dmg. Very useful for sage one way duo.
yes…the description of the ult is literally a sniper that one hits everything it hits…expect if you wallbang, then not.

skye flash and yoru door trick!
I actually use the Sova arrow bounce trick to set up post plant shock darts! It doesn’t work a lot but it’s saved the round for me a decent bit, and if nothing else it’s a funny kill
It worked for me once though it landed .1 sec after the spike was defused. It was really quite funny
been playing since beta and damn, a lot of these are actually useful unlike 90% of all other tips and tricks
8:05 so I have taken a liking to skye, and a few things about her makes me like her a lot.
For one, her heal isn’t just for one person, you can heal multiple people to full at the same time compared to being only able to heal one. I’ve not been able to really confirm this, but it’s super niche but cool.
For another, her dog/tiger drone concusses less and less the further out it is, and damages people if and only if it makes physical contact with a person (dealing 30 ish damage). This is pretty good to know in case you had gotten the indication that they’re concussed so you don’t bait yourself.
For one last thing, Skye’s flashes don’t go off if you don’t use them, and after a second of letting go of your Fire button, you can pull out your gun, which is probably one of my favorite skye mechanics, considering it leads to amazing fakes, really solid pop flashes, and the flash duration is longer the further it goes. So if you make it hang onto a wall, it would probably blind for 2 seconds instead of the normal 1 second or something like that.
her being able to heal more than one person isnt some big revelation they literally used it in skye's reveal

About the sage wall and planting the spike, you can plant it as near as you want it wont break as long as you look away from the wall!

With sky, you can somewhat pre flash, to avoid not having your weapon out. When you let the bird go it will fly in the exact same direction you where aiming, so if you aim at a wall at a 45 degree angle, when you let it go it will slide across the wall. These means you can have your weapon out when you peak.
neon mechanic (in case u didnt know): in the buy phase, you can run around sliding, its fun if ur team betrays you and goes b instead of a, i had to learn it the hard way

I remember time where Astra's ult block EVERY sound behind it , in this time i made with this so many clutches on defenders side
as skye your hawk flies faster than your seekers so you can flash a choke point for your ult to cross and detect the exact direction of the enemy. they might or might not get nearsighted but at least you know if they're left or right behind a door.

Things you dont know about valorant
During preround we can use neons signature ability infinite but as the enemy surrenders,if we run ,it will use its charge
during preround also
With brim u can still bump the molly out of the way slightly if u just body block it. Can can shift it off just enougb for u to get the diffuse off
With Neon headshots now do a lot more damage, and Kayo's Molly can now damage you trough walls aswell.
Omen tip. The shrouded step goes 15m, so you can use pings to determine the distance. Helpful with smokes.
With Yoru, you can press your C THEN press 1 (or whatever button you have for equipping gun) to eliminate the animation of Yoru dropping the footstep into the ground, that way it saves time for you to pull out the gun.
Also, the Viper trick with looking down to see more will also work with Yoru in his ult.
for reyna your flash also shows on the minimap like viper's smoke so you can line it up easily
an astra main but I didn't know about that pulling myself would bring me to the top of the pyramid. nice!!
I remember though, if you are using skye's wolf or sova's owl, your connection matters because there is a delay before you jump into the perspective of your wolf or drone.

The pheonix one acutlly will have a good use for me as i main Phoenix with flashing i always staned next to the wall and flash but now i know the flash trick

You should have highlighted the differences between sliding your flash vs curving it on Skye. Whenever there is a flat surface that your flash can slide on but still reach its destination, you should use that surface and let go of the flash button. If you let go of the button you can actually take your gun out while the flash is in the air, but still detonate it by pressing flash again. This will make your popflashes better, but also give you more time to kill the flashed enemy. Also very good for fake flashes, because you can just throw the flash and stop thinking about it.
Also, jump when youre dogging. (I know its a Tiger) That little moment where the enemy misses a shot or two is very valuable time and lets you see how many enemies are actually there

For planting near the sage wall, make sure u face on the opposite direction of your wall so it'll not break

I used that chamber sheriff-q trick and it worked really well tbh.
One for skis could be that for her q, it doesent activate immediately even when your screen has swapped. Wait a second before you start moving to make it so you don’t move out of cover.

Another cool viper trick for bind that works very good even against imm/rad, if you are playing a on defense and the enemies are going b, throw a molly through the tp and go inside the tp. this way the enemies will be vulnerable, and very very easy to kill.
For sage mechanic u can use the self resurrect and respawn for self made firing range course

as of the new 5.0 patch, kay-o's grenade no longer requires you to be within line of sight of its center, and can now do damage through walls. but the size of the explosion has reduced

Something to note about the Omen Ult Bomb Pick up trick, You need to cancel the ult to pick up the bomb. I have done it where I am over the bomb, but the enemy shot my ult causing it to be canceled and me not being able to pick up the bomb. So if you do it, and know enemies are watching, try canceling it as soon as you can. Even if you cancel it right after it starts, you should be able to pick it up.
tip with neon, I realized that if you slide and shoot it becomes accurate like when your standing still
The Yoru Mechanic I discovered this before this video, and dude this is HUGE, the enemy will not expect the TP is open and you are looking at it, this surprised everybody i played against
Sova drone tip: the drone has a maximum hight it can reach but this hight is based on the distance from the ground so if you glide over objects it allows you to get even higher ... Especially useful on icebox
