Not really, Dex is a trained FBI agent but still tho Daredevil knows much more martial arts. And Daredevil has a *slight* edge in far range do to his supersenses. I like to think that, for a second, the thought of Matt having actually turned into a merciless killing machine, went through Foggy's mind. Then the actual Daredevil comes in and saves him from a monster.
Man, I can't believe they cancelled this show. But the three seasons that were created were like the Dark Knight Trilogy of TV comic book shows, with a pretty satisfying ending. Maybe it was a good idea to leave it at three brilliant seasons, as opposed to running this show to death. Cox, D'Onofrio and Bethel gave the definitive portrayals of Daredevil, Kingpin and Bullseye.
J & B Slots and More you have a point, the characters are all mildly annoying. The white girl, Foggy is a birch, Kingpin is overly eccentric....the guy dissing DKT is some sort of mongoloid or fanboy of Tim Burton's Batman. Idk.
@@BagzAndPresident try again. DD S3 is arguably one of the best seasons of any comic book TV show ever. The 97% rating and critical acclaim it got would agree too.

I am not a huge daredevil fan, so I didn't know Bullseye real name was Poindexter or any kind of previous knowledge, but I know his trademark symbol on the forehead... after all, I watched that abomination featuring Ben Affleck. And when he faced Daredevil soon later on a goddamn office with "weapons" everywhere, I knew Matt had no chance in that environment lol In a way, I got shocked with his reveal even if I had some basic knowledge about comic books.
@@chriscannon8144 well, fisk plan was to ruin daredevils reputation and make him out to be a villain so the media are against him and so are the cops. @@Tiger64647 Yeah, that's what I meant, in terms of representation, thanks. I like it when a hero has to face the polar opposites of themselves and learn to never end up like that, if that makes sense.
They need to bring back the fight choreographers and film crew for whatever mcu daredevil project is coming. Man, these fight scenes are so well done. Minimal jump cuts, you can actually see what's going on.
I love how in every fight you can see Matt using all of his senses. At 3:16you can even see him trying to taste anything that would let him find out where dex is
The way both Bullseye and Daredevil look at each other before the fight starts still gives me chills, you can already tell that Bullseye was going to be the second next epic iconic archenemy for Daredevil after Kingpin. It's really sad that we haven't seen more of this rivalry since season 4 got cancelled.....
one underrated thing about this fight is, when bullseye gets the upper hand, the music completely stops and all you hear is the sound of objects being tossed, it's perfect
3:36 I know it’s not much but I like how they did this little part, Matt grabs something to cover himself with in case bullseye sees him and throws anything at him. He learned about his enemy while fighting him
I love how this showed us that without Matt Murdock (or dare I say Charlie himself) the suit is nothing. When you remove Matt all you’re left with is a shell of a man that is broken, a man who went through hell that was abandoned by his own mother and instead of becoming daredevil he became bullseye, it shows us that they aren’t so different after all and this is why I fucking love this series.
This fight was so well choreographed. Camerabwas ultra stable, no unnecessary shakes, and when Dex and Matt were toe to toe, it orbited around them to you can see every move they make. Excellent!!
@@crimsonthumos3905 No, Netflix canceled it because they were streaming a rival company’s property. Either way, Disney was probably going to pull funding.
I love that they used a tracking shot to establish that Matt is in his element. We all know what goes down when Matt is featured in a tracking sequence LMAO Cutting away and ending the tracking shot shifts the perspective to Dex and establishes that it's his turn. Love the direction of this scene!
Absolutely love how they did Bullseye. They didn't take away his abilities to make it "realistic" they really embraced the terror of a guy who can and will kill you with a pebble from across a room.
The bits with the baseball and the snowglobe I feel really illustrate how adept Bullseye is at long-range. I also like the little tackle-slide thing when he goes under the desk to gain some distance from Matt.
This fight is a fucking masterpiece. The fighting styles between both characters is so dynamic, the camera work is beautiful, and it's suspenseful as heck!
3:24 Always gets me. Such a great fight and it's super serious and tense but then he hits him with the old Wombo-Combo and I lose it. Makes me chuckle every time
This was My Infinity war/endgame. Nothing... NOTHING marvel has done has touched this moment. Daredevil is the Best Thing Disney/Marvel has ever done. All 3 Seasons.
and now they are gonna destroy it, they already do it with Kingpin in Hawkeye, i dont like that they hire the same actors for the role, this mean that we are never gonna get season 4, we will have a new "disney version" that is gonna suck so bad like their other series
I still can’t believe they brought a comic book style rivalry this iconic to life. It’s been out almost a year now and I still find it as entertaining as when I first saw it
I love that moment where you hear Fisk say, "the real you" and Dex's subsequent smile from being allowed, so to speak, to be himself. And honestly, I envy that.
one thing most people don't seem to mention is how good Dex's spacial awareness is during the battle, notice how everytime Matt tries to get him by his blind spot, Dex always throws a object around the cover in order to see if Matt is there, first with the pen, then with the chair and finally when he gets the baseball, like he knows Matt would try and close the gap by blind spots.
The thing I love about this scene is how they don’t forget about Matt’s fighting ability. It’s almost unmatched. It’s one of his great strengths and we see that when he’s in close range to Bullseye. However they don’t try to make Bullseye threatening by matching Matt’s strength, but instead, let him use his own strength which is long range combat. We can clearly see that as Matt gets his butt kicked by nearly every object thrown at him
The way they frame bullseye at the start is so horrifying tbh. It’s completely dim and there’s only a couple lights in that shot, and there’s just this… man standing there. That shot looks like a fucking sleep paralysis demon and I love it.
Can we talk about how well done the shot for Bullseye throwing the baseball around the corner was? To do a whip pan and focus pull together was amazing
This scene is absolutely fantastic! It's one of those comic book adaptation scenes that strikes me in its quality all the more, due to how silly it could all come off in a different context.
I like how clear they made it that Bullseye is inferior in close quarters but Daredevil is at a huge disadvantage at range. This is character very carefully written into combat
the fight scenes in this was like the best camera work ive ever seen, they are shot beautifully and you can see everything. coherent fight scenes with great angles. no quick cuts or shaky cams. this and john wick, these 2 franchise knows how to shoot a fight scene.
One of my favorite fights from the entire series. So sad we never got to see Bullseye fully realized post-surgery. I love that they incorporated baseball, one of my favorites comics is the Bullseye story where for an entire year he seemed to disappear from crime. At the same time, an unknown rookie pitcher got signed to the MLB and dominated.
Even though the single takes (especially the one in this season) are super impressive from a cinematography perspective, and are undoubtedly achievements, I think this might be the best fight in the whole series. The way they utilize the choreography and show off each opponents unique skills was a joy to watch
This fight scene is just a masterpiece, I was going fucking livid over this fight it’s done so perfectly like Disney I’m begging you please bring the crew who did all of the fights I beg you
It's crazy how they turned a B-list villain like Bullseye and actually make him a very well written character. Seriously the highlight of the season imo. Hope we see more of him in the future

Not gonna lie I would probably be dumb enough to do the same.
Quack Quack Quack Quack!!!!
Foggy thought he was about to die
I like to think that, for a second, the thought of Matt having actually turned into a merciless killing machine, went through Foggy's mind. Then the actual Daredevil comes in and saves him from a monster.
Of steel
THIS is how you create a perfect superhero show
THIS IS a masterpiece of a series
Man, I can't believe they cancelled this show. But the three seasons that were created were like the Dark Knight Trilogy of TV comic book shows, with a pretty satisfying ending. Maybe it was a good idea to leave it at three brilliant seasons, as opposed to running this show to death. Cox, D'Onofrio and Bethel gave the definitive portrayals of Daredevil, Kingpin and Bullseye.
Infinite Warlock okay kiddo
vin00ify season 3 was awful
@@BagzAndPresident wrongsauce
J & B Slots and More you have a point, the characters are all mildly annoying. The white girl, Foggy is a birch, Kingpin is overly eccentric....the guy dissing DKT is some sort of mongoloid or fanboy of Tim Burton's Batman. Idk.
@@BagzAndPresident try again. DD S3 is arguably one of the best seasons of any comic book TV show ever. The 97% rating and critical acclaim it got would agree too.
Every time I watch this fight, I picture him wearing the black and white Bullseye costume from the comics
It's ironic that we got Bullseye wearing Daredevil's suit and Daredevil in black attire. Still not happy about him wearing the suit.
@@GemSurge95 Ikr.
That's some awesome irony right there, makes me wonder if that's what they were going for this season.
I got the chills when I watched the baseball cap scene.
It's also a representation of matt himself, the way that matt changes because its uncanny how similar both matts and dexs childhoods were. It shows matt how he could end up and what he's become
@@Tiger64647 Yeah, that's what I meant, in terms of representation, thanks.
I like it when a hero has to face the polar opposites of themselves and learn to never end up like that, if that makes sense.
Matt's a better fighter but bullseye has him at a distance
Matt's nothing without the red suit

he's called bullseye for a reason

Bullseye, Heh!??
The way both Bullseye and Daredevil look at each other before the fight starts still gives me chills, you can already tell that Bullseye was going to be the second next epic iconic archenemy for Daredevil after Kingpin. It's really sad that we haven't seen more of this rivalry since season 4 got cancelled.....
Never fight Daredevil in a hallway.
Never fight Bullseye in an office supply store.

Multiple fight sequences made in one shot, with no shaky camera. Such quality is unreachable even by Hollywood.

I just love how brave foggy is. I almost cried when matt caught the baton. To matt, foggy is still a friend.
The soundtrack in this scene is *PHENOMENAL*
Just When U Thought The World Was wanting More Of Him the Most He'll Finally will Be Back To MCU's Daredevil born again Series ! ! ! 🔥🙌🎯
The fact that when Bullseye thows the baton it doesn’t spin but when Matt does this spins it’s a very good attention to the details
one underrated thing about this fight is, when bullseye gets the upper hand, the music completely stops and all you hear is the sound of objects being tossed, it's perfect
Daredevil: Master at Marital arts that took years of training.
Bullseye: YEET
This fight was so well choreographed. Camerabwas ultra stable, no unnecessary shakes, and when Dex and Matt were toe to toe, it orbited around them to you can see every move they make.
Excellent!!
Matt: who are you?
Bullseye: I’m daredevil
Matt: I’m gonna sue you for copywrite infringement.

I love that they used a tracking shot to establish that Matt is in his element. We all know what goes down when Matt is featured in a tracking sequence LMAO
Cutting away and ending the tracking shot shifts the perspective to Dex and establishes that it's his turn. Love the direction of this scene!
Yeah the the camera movement is amazing. It accurately describes what's happening in the fight by putting the audience there.
the music right before they start the fight is INSANE like is somber and dark it gives such a tone
Deadshot: Who are you?
Bullseye: I'm you with better character development.

The fighting styles between both characters is so dynamic, the camera work is beautiful, and it's suspenseful as heck!

one thing most people don't seem to mention is how good Dex's spacial awareness is during the battle, notice how everytime Matt tries to get him by his blind spot, Dex always throws a object around the cover in order to see if Matt is there, first with the pen, then with the chair and finally when he gets the baseball, like he knows Matt would try and close the gap by blind spots.

Dex: Me too. Me too.

It's crazy how the MCU shows will never have this quality again
Meanwhile Thor and Hulk be like :

the fight scenes in this was like the best camera work ive ever seen, they are shot beautifully and you can see everything. coherent fight scenes with great angles. no quick cuts or shaky cams. this and john wick, these 2 franchise knows how to shoot a fight scene.
If Dex wasn’t wearing the armor, I feel like Matt could’ve beat him so much easier.
Love how he grabbed the billy club mid air and the slow twirl in a very clear “This is mine” gesture
my favorite thing about daredevil fight scenes is theres always a few moments to breathe
Even though the single takes (especially the one in this season) are super impressive from a cinematography perspective, and are undoubtedly achievements, I think this might be the best fight in the whole series. The way they utilize the choreography and show off each opponents unique skills was a joy to watch
This fight scene is just a masterpiece, I was going fucking livid over this fight it’s done so perfectly like Disney I’m begging you please bring the crew who did all of the fights I beg you
Right around 3:37 you could see that daredevil realizes that close combat is the only way he can win this fight

Maybe the most badass fight in the whole series. Just something about how Matt catches the billyclub to save Foggy. 10/10 scene.
It's crazy how they turned a B-list villain like Bullseye and actually make him a very well written character. Seriously the highlight of the season imo. Hope we see more of him in the future
