Same here....the instructions are not clear. The green on the charts and timing make it seem like you have to keep the green on for 15 min.
A thorough explanation and demonstration, presented fairly slowly, which is just what I needed. When I bought my kit at the dentist's office, I was told how to use it and paid attention, but I thought I'd find good instructions within the box, too -- and I can't be the only one who found the instructions in the box sadly lacking in basic how-to's. This video showed it, told it, and shared a few tips besides.
Totally agree about the VERY lacking instructions that come with the kit!! That's how I ended up on this page....looking for guidance.

@@ashpheonix89if you get a 15 percent peroxide solution, the instructions recommend no longer than 20 minutes per session!! If you have a 10 percent peroxide solution, the instructions recommended no longer than 60 minutes per session! Hope that helps
I have had a box for a few months with no directions. I just tried my first trays and my teeth are much whiter than with what I bought at the dentist's office. Thank you for the video.

I just had my first go at these. They definitely work! I went 45 minutes with no sensitivity issues. Have an empty water bottle nearby to drool into and a napkin because you'll slobber like a pitbull x3... Hahaha. After 45 minutes put your face in the sink and pull them out because you'll have a waterfall of drool. Brush the gel off your teeth, no toothpaste. Enjoy your smile.
Mines came with an extra tube. What is that for ? I just bought mine and I am so excited to use it

I just got my opalscence whitening kit from my Dentist. And my teeth trays where specifically molded for my mouth so they fit perfectly. I get the 35% pf because I strive for very white teeth considering I'm a espresso drinker/coffee and occasional smoker. I will update if I start having sensitivity considering I dont have overly sensitive teeth, but there are a couple that react to hot and cold. 04/01/2020 #Quarantine2020TeethWhitening #Please like for update.😉

@@mbands only had mild sensitivity using them all thia time. But be very careful not to get it on your gums. It will burn them.

Just bought this and I get excess saliva build up while using it. I was told it's safe to swallow but just curious if that is true? Thank you
it’s okay to swallow some but if you swallow too much you might experience nausea. overall you should just spit it out

@@Ashley-dv3uo hi Ashley, Well, for me, it didn't work. Although, I got some white spots here and there, which I didn't like because my teeth seemed like they had see through spots.
Did it make your gums burn? I have read and heard that it does which kinda freaks me out lol
@@Ashley-dv3uo yeah, I read that too. But It didn't, it didn't sting, I made sure though, it didn't touch my gums. I was super careful

Excellent video, best we have seen on the specific use of this product, even better than what Ultradent provides. One comment to improve the mechanics of the video would be to remove the background music as there were times my wife and I could not understand what you were saying. We found the music very distracting and we missed some of your words/points. Thanks again for doing this.

If you will be storing for long periods of time, then refrigerating is a great idea. Otherwise don't worry about it - should be fine at room temp. Enjoy!

It say to refrigerate product and then room temperature before use. You did not mention this.

Hydrogen Peroxide can become inert (chemical breakdown) in warm temperatures over time, refrigeration will slow down the process allowing the solution to retain its strength longer.

"Just say NO" to background music. It's a different level of annoying to each listener. It's helpful to bo one.
Love the instructions but you really should consider turning down the volume of music in the background. I had to strain harder to hear you. Otherwise, great job!

Am I allowed to swallow with them in? Should I have my mouth open the whole time and breath through my mouth pr keep my mouth closed and breath through my nose?
Never had so much confusion with how long to keep them in my package doesn’t say it anywhere and I saw one place that said 8 hours. Another that said 30 minutes. Frustrating. Thanks for clarifying.

I have this product and was wondering if you can leave the green tray in while whitening? I didn't like how much product was getting into my mouth so I thought the green trys would avoid this. Also I have the visilign would it help to put this on to keep it tight to my teeth? Thanks for your help.

Do you think it is safe to use them if they were stored in a room temperature for the past 2 months? I actually got the package in January and was refrigerating it from January to May, and then we moved to our new house, since then it was kept in a box - at room temperature.
So I just put them in. Problem getting the green tray of because the white would not come out of the green plastic tray. Its within date not old. I had to physically remove the inner whitening and apply it to my teeth. Has this happened to anyone. I watched the video and did as instructed.

First time using them and I experienced a sharp pain in one of my tooth for a brief moment then went away. 15 minutes later it happened again so I took them off. Is that normal?

Thank you VM for the video and instructions/suggestions. I just got this from my dentist and I have the %15 box. I'm going to start using it tomorrow and 🙏🏽 hope for some results. I'm not a smoker or serious coffee drinker BUT I'm seriously afraid of the dentist (can cause some pain) but I also wanna look good. Thanks again...I'm sure this is an older video but I had to get some "visual" assistance on using this since it's much more costly and not your average over the counter white strips.

15 percent for 15 minutes once a week? Hahahahaha ridiculous that will take you months to whiten teeth. I use 15 percent opalescence over night. The secret is to brush with toothpaste for sensitive teeth. I have zero sensitivity.
You are using the inyections thing... not the strays. It's a different product.

I hust used the crest strips for the first time tonight. They 6.5% hydrogen peroxide, so not nearly as strong as the opalescence
Can you leave the trays on teeth for 60mins?
I think this is where I’ve been messing up. After using the trays for 30 mins I am brushing with toothpaste which is probably counter productive of me attempting to whiten my teeth. If I’m wrong please chime in.
I'm going to do the once per week route, Sunday night. Can I still drink coffee during my workweek? I would even switch to doing it with a straw, but I NEED MY COFFEE! 😛

Thanks for the instructions. One question, can a whitening toothpaste be used during the whitening treatment period? Or should I use Sensodyne?
I kind of overkill it…. I used these exact trays 10 of them in a 10 day period. When brushing afterwards I already use a 5% Crest Peroxide toothpaste. I’ll just say with the trays and the toothpaste in just 10 days I’m astonished, now I just use the peroxide toothpaste which last me about 2 weeks at $12 a tube. My teeth for me tho are not that sensitive too hydrogen peroxide tho
Absolute rubbish product that inner sticks to the green and leaves the gel .. the white part even sticks to eachother when you bite down and drags one of them off. wasted two sets so far have had to gargle and eject the dangerous gel from my mouth both times.

It’s going to irritate your mouth regardless because of the ingredients.
How many days/months in between should you use the trays? For example I used a set of trays last week should I wait for a few weeks or a month to use my next set?
