    1. no charcoal toothpaste.
    2. No teeth whitening pens, maybe? No evidence to support that claim.
    3. No tooth whitening lights, they are cheap and less powerful than what you get at the dentistss.
    4. Whitening toothpaste isn’t ideal because it is too abrasive and not safe long term.
    5. Crest white strips work well, the more expensive the better. Follow directions.
    6. Opal essence from your dentist, works well but it is prescription and a little more expensive.

I have been told not to brush after drinking coffee. Reason being, coffee is acidic and momentarily softens your teeth. If you brush immediately after you could be stripping away your enamel and making your teeth even more porous. Instead brush beforehand and drink water with coffee to wash the coffee away from your teeth.

Today was the first time I saw a dentist in well over 10 years. Pretty much half of my life (I’m 21) I’ve suffered with my teeth rotting away, falling out, and breakage. My dentist did my fronts first, and next check up (next month) I get morals fixed. I SOBBED in relief and excitement! I got so many cavities filled. He did a lot of drilling and cleaning. My molars are next.
TAKE CARE OF YOUR TEETH, AND YOURSELF. Seriously I didn’t brush my teeth, and my oral health had gotten so bad I couldn’t even brush them my teeth would hurt as she described that “zing” and my gums would bleed all over.
Now that I have fillings, and possibly implants in the future, I can’t stop smiling.

@@HollerAtcherBoi my parents never entirely cared about making sure I would brush my teeth every day, so when I was younger I just never really did it.
As I got older my depression was settling in and I eventually never had the energy to do it. So pretty much I rarely would brush or even floss.
Now that my depression has lifted some I have the energy to take proper care of myself. And none taken! It’s understandable that you’d think that! My breath probably was smelling horrible. I brushes when I could but most of the time I just rinsed with mouth wash when my mouth felt gross and went on my way.

    • @ninjaydes
      @ninjaydes 4 года назад +2

      • Hydrogen peroxide is a key ingredient in whitening strips.
      • Hydrogen peroxide is a weak acid.
      • The enamel weakens when the mouth is at an abnormally high or low pH (usually too acidic), so that's the logic behind adding baking soda, a base.
      • Hydrogen peroxide gel does whiten teeth based off the studies so far.
      • The danger of hydrogen peroxide products is not only in how they may damage the teeth, but also the impact they have on the gums.
      • If you want to whiten your teeth, _keep hydrogen peroxide products away from the gums._ Carefully apply the mixture, gel, or other whitening agent to only the teeth and remember to hold off on using these if you find that your teeth feel weak or uncomfortable with the treatment.
      The end.
      Don't listen to me.

Hey Jade, we like to use a whitening strip once every 2 weeks to once a month just to keep our teeth looking white. How often you need to use them depends on how often you drink/eat staining foods & how white you want to keep your teeth, but that's what we've found works for us 😊

Amazing video, love the tips. Grant looks so charming, kind and compassionate. He makes me forget the usual fear that going to a dentist implies. As for me I prefer the last tip. I Will rather go to a dentist and let him conduct my teeth whitening process. My mouth is not a lab where I will try various chemicals to see what works lol. Thanks for the video.

Its better to just put them on the visible front portion of the teeth, not too close to the gums and not the underside where you chew or behind the teeth cause that would cause faster tooth sensitivity. I used crest strips b4 and they definitely whiten teeth faster fs.

I read that if you brush your teeth immediately after drinks/food, it's damaging the enamel because you kinda ruin the pH of your mouth? So you have to wait like an hour to brush. So how after ☕ this is a good idea?

Solid advice, definitely not a channel that I’ve ended up on. Honestly though when I want too know about certain things, especially comparing products, it’s always channels like yours that give the best advice. So I’m not a subscriber because topics like this aren’t in my main viewing preferences, but I really appreciate all you guys taking the time too make good, informative content. Now when I go too buy whitening strips I’ll spend the $40-50 and get results instead of wasting it on the equate brand lol. Big thumbs up and I’ll subscribe because you guys kept me from wasting money lol

If you're ok with them not sticking as well, you can always give those a try 😊 Also, I'm checking my Walmart App right now & Crest white strips range from $20-45.
