This is the worst fake, 100 pushups a day is barely anything for one, and to gain muscle you need at least 24 hours so your muscles can recover and rebuild stronger. Stop faking people out!
Wanted to give you guys a little, first update. I'm on day 7 atm and I can't actually believe it. I'm by all means not fat. 90kg (198lb) on 185cm (little over 6ft), but very out of shape. Day 1 I could barely manage the 10 push ups. It was killing me lol. But now, wow. 20 push ups like it's nothing. Wake up in the morning, do my reps and continue my day. After work, right before bed, do my reps and hop in bed. Just like that. Can't wait to see my results on day 30. Definitely going to continue this work out plan all year.
Good luck everybody, can just tell you: keep going guys, in 2.5 years into muscle building, no breaks 5 times every week and my life really improved since... keep fucking going guys believe in you
This is a great video. Years ago I did 100 push-ups everyday for years. I got older and stopped. I’m going to get back at it. You have inspired me and I thank you!

What's crazy about this video is how 90% of the gains were in that first 2 weeks. And the 2nd 2 weeks just topped it up another 10% great fitness challenge. I was seriously impressed with the transformation
Every person has one arm which is more dominant. No matter what you do and how you do it, one will always be stronger. It's in our genes and how we're built.
45 years ago a buddy of mine told me to do 20 push-ups 10 times a day times6 days a week. After doing this for 2 months I was up to 100 pushups at the time. That was the best my body has ever been. Pushing seventy now. I don't do push-ups any more. Good video!
started 100 pushups a day nearly a year ago (50am, 50 pm). 50 pushups is less than a minute of inconvenience now and the chest is a bit bigger. The strength increase is actually measurable, even at over 40. Keep up the reps boys!

Im gonna start this tonight, Sunday December 8th 2019 and update everyday until i reach 30 days. Wish me good luck for my first set tonight :). Day 1: Just finished my first set of 100 pushups and i was able to do the first 10 and then after that i was only able to do 5 at a time but i got it done in about 30 minutes. My arms are firm and hurt but i'll commit. Day 2: I did 20 in the gas station with my friends lol. Im incredibly sore and tired from my 2 P.E classes (im 14 btw) and the pushups from yesterday, I hurt at the sides of my chest by my armpits, my Core and the bottom of my biceps. I feel like i can do this for the 30 days so im gonna keep going. I also took before pictures so i can see what i looked like before the challenge. Im ready for day 3 and just finished my 100 :). Day 3 and 4: IM still sore but the pushups are easier and I'm feeling way better about this challenge. Day 5, 6 and 7: Icing my arms doesn't work to take away the soreness but the pushups are easier and i'm able to do 25 now before i have to take a break. Day 8 and 9: My arms are starting to become more defined. A very slight difference but that's cause i'm only on day 9 lol. The past 13 days: I've been on vacation in arkansas and i will admit I skipped one day but im able to do 70ish before my arms give out. I had a growth spurt and slimmed out so i feel like this challenge will be easier. I dont get sore from the pushups anymore because i think my body got used to it.
Same Bro I Started Last Month and I'm still going strong. There will be a huge improvement in your body. If anyone sees this do the 100 pushups challenge I can say that it will change anyone's live one way or another
Your form improved tremendously in the last week or so, grew stronger. I have a guy I work with that does 12 sets of 50 pushups a day for the past decade or so, dude is a beast!
After I've been working in a Hospital over the past few years transporting the patients & equipment, I needed to find a basic way to solidify, strengthen myself. Watching the way that you showed just constantly doing pushups makes me just want to give it a try. Thanks, JR
Been doing this for about a month now. Some advice for people just starting out: yeah, it's going to be hard to stay motivated, but do it every single day. One day off only makes the next day 10x harder. Good luck, you got this!
Beelzebub 666 yeah, it’s always good to work out other muscle groups too, and no I don’t think you should wait 1-2 days after doing 100 pushups. It would take too long to show progress. 100 a day is only challenging for the first week or so
I love all these videos that show rapid results. By my third day of actually doing 100 pushups a day I could only do knee pushups and that pretty much lasted for weeks. Your body needs time to repair. I never got stronger. Perfect diet, tons.of sleep, never improved.
Alan Keane While I agree this won’t be over in May you can’t fathom what the economy would look like if this lockdown continues for 6 months. Our economy will be crippled. Business have to open again at some point....
When you did nothing before and go to something really regular it is a beautiful feeling. More energy, feeling good and the physical change in the first weeks is huge. Such a good feeling. Good job mate.
100 push-ups is easy once you start committing yourself with the perfect push-up...I usually wake up drink coffee and 6 sets totaling 100 every morning as a ritual...keeps you jacked
Currently in the midst. Went from 10 sets of 10, then 5 sets of 20 then 4 sets of 25. Now 2 sets of 30 and one set of 40. Because I didn't do them in a long time, i thought it was best to break in this way. I do rest on the weekends though
@@LordStanley94 that's what I don't like lol. No real time frame, For now my aim is to just get 100 done in the day. It has been a while since I've done any. i am heavier than I used to be so it's harder....but since I started a about two weeks ago, I went from struggling with ten straight to Pounding out 40 straight. My goal is 2 reps of 50 ten mins in between. Bad shape I was in my friend.
Dude I can’t believe what a difference this makes. I workout like 6 days a week and adding this made the biggest difference. Thank you for making this video!!!
Tbh you don't need it. I achieved similar results doing diamond push ups and push with my hands near my waist. And since they're more difficult you can net more work on your muscles with less reps.
@@Q-64 Could make it easier on wrists. I know I've always had wrist issues without machine assisted "push up machines". It's one of those things to get you started, then you can advance to more variations of push ups that engage different parts of your body.
Working on a single muscle group (usually "beach muscles") to the exclusion of the opposite muscle group isn't good either. If you do a pushing excersise, you gotta do a pulling one. Otherwise it can lead to musculoskeletal issues down the road. If you do biceps, then you gotta do triceps. If you do pushups, then you gotta do pull ups or incline rows or something for the upper back. And training the same muscle group EVERY DAY isn't necessarily good for you either. Muscles need recovery time to build themselves back up after you break them down. Otherwise, you can be doing more harm than good (or at least, paradoxically making gains *more slowly* than you would if you trained every-other-day!). Don't get me wrong... It's good that he's doing this. But just doing pushups (EVERY DAY, no less!) isn't an optimal solution either.
After I finally got my sleep apnea diagnosis a few years ago and got treatment for it and had more energy to get excited about things again, this video was my catalyst to start going to the gym. After I started doing pushups i gained so much energy from it and I realized that resistance training was a thing my life was missing. After seeing your gains from just push-ups I though to myself:" This challenge feels totally manageable, I wonder if I could get similar results. All in all you video was the inspiration for me to finally start liking excercise in a totally new way. Thank you!
I appreciate the breakdown in the description. I've been thinking of doing something like this. I'm not a big guy, but my core is speeding up the death of my spine.
It's more about time under tension than the reps, do your regular 25 then do 25 as slow as you possibly can and feel the difference. A good example is count 10 seconds starting at 1 then pushing up and not getting fully extended until you're at 10, then repeat that process going back down.
@@alex.s8407 you keep doing it like that you will see a greater result, not just with push ups either any kind of resistance training. If you slow down the motion and concentrate on squeezing the muscle as you perform the exercise you will get more out of it then just trying to knock out a set as quickly as you can or trying to go super heavy. Time under tension is the best way to gain muscle, that's the main reason those exercise bands work, it keeps your muscles contracted.
I started just going to do 7 days but I'm on day 12 now..I do all 100 in about 15 minutes. Already on day 12 my first rep is 40 day 1 was 20....hoping to get 2 reps of 50
The power of push ups are amazing. The 27th of May I started doin 200 thru June the beginning of July I started doin 250 a day and I’m really amazed by the results of only push ups. Great video buddy.... awesome stuff.... 💪🏽
Good for you it’s amazing how just using energy changes you. A few tips To get much better gains. Your chest needs to touch the ground. Or as low you as you can go. Also after full extension of your arms push your shoulders down to get higher. Keep your elbows in And slow it down. Key is full extension and the most load when the mussel is stretched longest.
The fact that he can even do 100 pushups indicates he has the existing muscle tone, testosterone and health to burn fat and trim up. After 20 pushups I just want to kick back watching Netflix and eat a Combo Meal...
You can see he did 100 push ups thru the day or in a span of 10'ish minutes depending how long breaks he took between sets. He did not do 100 in a row. Honestly you can and should do 100-300 push ups per day depending on your level. Just spread them into sets and do long breaks, there's 24hrs in a day! Just know that you should have rest days to actually become stronger and build the muscle. Doing it 30 days straight gets nobody anywhere. Good luck!
AoWtweek Thank you. What I do is my 1 set max for the first set, then just go to near failure for the ones after. At one point I was able to do 75 push-ups in a row after training for 2 weeks. I took a very long break after that, tho, but quarantine is making me start over. My one set max is 45 rn, and I started on Monday with a break to relax my mind on Wednesday and Thursday. My one set max on Monday was 30, so breaks really do help for anyone else reading this.
@@CavsFanDallasFanSinceFebruary Just to add to the advice: I suggest you don't focus too much on the repetitions but rather try to fix your technique and go from quantity to quality. There are some good video guides out there on how to properly do push ups which is basically going all the way down, almost touch the floor with your chest and going all the way up meaning pushing your shoulders down and locking your arms. Also do them slow not fast. Squeeze your butt. Do all that and your 45 max will turn into 25 max ;)

I’d be careful doing stuff like that man. Your habits make up who you are, if you continue telling yourself you’re going to do something and you don’t go through with it, well, is that the type of person you want to be?
I notice you look happier after the challenge. I think building muscle releases endorphins lol. Improving your body feels good. Pretty insane how you were able to double your max reps from 25 to 50. Id love to build up to 50
I do 100-200 push ups each day as well as other dumbbell exercises. It took me 3-4 months to get similar results without changing my diet. Awesome that you experienced such quick result.
Gaining an inch on your bicep and 2 inch on chest in a month from just pushups is impressive. Now imagine going to the gym and eating right for a month. Big gains to be had.
I like the motivation for sure and glad you kept with it.. Just work on your push up form from now on I'm in the us army and not one of those push ups would've been counted .. But def work on your form and I promise you will see better results.. Keep up the good work do them every day you'll see what happens..switch it up though so you can confuse your muscles and get bigger.
I hope you did not messure your chest & arms right after the push ups? If so, the inches you gained was only extra blood from the mighty pump. Respect tho!
in my experience, the pump is usually about 1/4 to 1/2 inch if you're just doing push ups, and up to an inch if you're blasting your pipes with super sets with little rest in between. ie 20 curls with moderate weight, then do 20 push ups, and alternate back and forth a few times with no rest. That gives me an inch of pump. Feels great!
I remember the days I did 200 without stoping mind you I was in my teens and fit as a butchers dog can't do any now wrists are fucked with arthritis probably coz I wore them out showing off lol
@@scottwallace3900 I hear that. did thousands of push ups in a while, did poor form, (just didn't know the difference) got huge, hurt myself, then was back to square one. Form is very important, even in you can't do as much to show off. I use moist heat packs for my AC arthritis, (loose, clunky sore AC) and some supplements to restore my joint, and its getting better ... hoping to get back to the push ups soon. In the mean time, doing curls and am back to 17 1/4" arms , but hoping to get the 2 inches of dormant triceps to wake up... just need to wake up myself and use GOOD FORM!!! ugh.
I m 75 kg & 5,10 tall doing continuous 100 push-ups everyday since 2018 but i didn't lose my weight(fixed body posture only). I m damm sure you did decrease your calories count for weight loss & there is no way that you can decrease weight by only push-ups.
I'm doing it this month. After 1 day I'm really, really sore. EDIT: I did it. January, all 31 days I did 100 pushups. So I know the guy in the video said no special diets, but protein shakes and bars are crucial to translating time spent doing pushups into actual muscle. Epsom salt baths or something similar are also key, at least for me, for mustering the strength the first 3 days after the first to do the pushups. You will be sore at first. Eventually, though, you'll be adding stuff on because it's become so easy. I did elevated pushups more and more often approaching day 31. All in all, I would reccomend this challenge! And if you're wondering about the gains, I'm 15 and you'll see the most gains in the biceps. Forearms benefit as well, and pectorals see some improvement. Best of luck to you all!
Very good job, impressive. Very proud of you !!!!!! I am CURRENTLY doing 150 push ups for 30 day. 5 sets of 30 each. Standard pushup, touching floor with my nose.

You had to have been in decent shape to start your first day with 100 push-ups. I’m 9 days into my own push-up regimen and I’m only up to 60 a day. Granted I’m 61 years old and weigh 260, but after my workout my shoulders and chest are real sore. What did you use for the soreness? Great story and motivation, thank you.
Notice he didn’t answer you. I just turned 50 in April. Last Wednesday I did 100 push ups in about 15 minutes. Doing the first 10 right off the bat. Did another 10. Then doing 5 at a time until I finished taking about 20-30 second breaks in between every 5. Something close to that. The next day was fine, no push-ups, no issues, but that 2nd day I almost couldn’t put my t-shirt on. I just did another 100 yesterday. Little soreness in chest but nothing major. See how I feel tomorrow. Enjoy the soreness. That’s results. Unless of course you hurt yourself. Think I’ve made the decision to try the 100 for a month starting on Friday. So it’s been a year since your comment, how you doing with those push-ups? Keep going or did you stop? Curious.
@@kenkaniff6142 I got up to 75 a day and then injured my right shoulder, couldn’t do them for a while. Finally feeling better and back up to 50 a day, but not pushing too hard. Getting too old to push. Good luck on your journey, I’m hopeful in time I can get to 100 a day, that’s my goal.
@@randymalispina9110 you can do it my man. I know you got 12 years on me. One can only hope I’m able to do push-ups at 62. I have to quit smoking and the current world events need to correct itself or I won’t make it to see 62, let alone do push ups. 25 years of smoking. I’m ready to call it quits I think. Well good luck to you Randy.
Ramón Velásquez I’m not to sure if you go gym or not but if he were to be lifting weights then there is no point of doing cardio if you do all of that anyway. And if you are just doing press ups plus plus other stuff... you won’t give yourself 48 hours to recover which is why if you were to do them every 2 days then you would get more gainz then ever. Also along with the idea your arms and chest won’t grow substantially if your nutrition is not right. Getting ripped in 30 days you just can’t takes months lol and 80 percent is nutrition.

Awesome job, best of luck man!

Beelzebub 666 yeah, it’s always good to work out other muscle groups too, and no I don’t think you should wait 1-2 days after doing 100 pushups. It would take too long to show progress. 100 a day is only challenging for the first week or so

@@gilfredooquendo8731 that's one huge yike for you
Working on a single muscle group (usually "beach muscles") to the exclusion of the opposite muscle group isn't good either.

It's more about time under tension than the reps, do your regular 25 then do 25 as slow as you possibly can and feel the difference. A good example is count 10 seconds starting at 1 then pushing up and not getting fully extended until you're at 10, then repeat that process going back down.
@@6jeremy9 I did that today I got to 15😥😥
@@alex.s8407 keep doing 15. Then add 1 more when you can. You will eventually get there!

@@salemgelidi3266 PROUD OF YOU BROTHER !!!!!!!!!!! SPARTA !!!! Keep us updated please !!!
Awesome!!! During my Freshman summer year in HS, I did 120 push ups a day with Sundays off. My chest was out of this world. Keep up the goid work
Nope
Keep doing them man , you'll get biggest and slimmer.
challenge accepted, completed, weight: reduced
triceps: bigger
chest: more in shape
abs impression near chest : more defined
I started with 4-5 pushups (proper form ) per set and around 50 pushups a day. Now can do 12-13 easily in each set and more than 100 a day. 30 is my peak in single set .
Wow! That's so awesome to hear! nice one!
I'm on 8th day of challenge and found this in recommended videos, thanks bro for posting this video, lifted my spirits to never give up.
That only doing pushups, imagine adding some weights and a little bit of cardio, RIPPED!
Haha yes, very easy to say, the push ups solo are hard as hell....
@@BitchDeath Sure, not easy. But I'm talking about what constructs your body better.
The worst of all are the legs workout...
@@sarmadghafoor1484 I do exercise one day and the other not or just do some light exercises. It's been working great for me, have lost quite some belly and get results. I do static bicycle just as a warm up and then normal gym routine. I also practice a form of sword training.
I'm also doing 100 pushups 3 months and my body got bigger and my Arm getting stronger everyday 😁,I'm also a 20 years old student 🖤
