I did the same thing but I went to a pixel 7, and for me, iOS and stock android are just so similar that it was a seamless switch

It's about the flexibility of Android for me. It's like carrying around a computer in your pocket.
But if you're already invested in the Apple ecosystem, then it's hard to switch.
