- Back at you guys with another Monster Cigar Review. Today we are taking a look at Hoyo De Monterrey Habana Epicure No. 2. This cigar starts with a dash of pepper and cinnamon, before transitioning into a more rich center, with notes of cedar, cocoa , nuts and a light fruity note on the finish. Not one flavor is more overpowering then the next creating a deliciously complex smoke that you never want to end.
As recent as 2016, this cigar was named the #9 Cigar of the Year by Cigar Aficionado Magazine. It remains a fan favorite and is highly sought after by informed members of the Cuban cigar community.

The Epi #2 has been really consistent these past few years. I reckon they really come into their own with 5+ years of age on them. When they're good though, they're great!! Here in The UK, I have the opposite problem, it's Nicaraguan cigars that are a treat for me. There used to be a couple of US retailers that were sympathetic and would ship to The UK errrrr "discreetly", but they stopped doing that a while back so I can't get them anymore. Damn shame! Good review guys!
this is my favorite cigar , I mostly smoke Cohibas but picked one of these up in a trial pack and next time I'm in Cuba I'll pick up a box of these instead

Great to see you appreciate my go to cigar. I love the US don’t get me wrong with my next comment - i am lucky to live in the UK where Cubans are easy to buy so these are my weekly smoke 👍 (though they aren’t cheap)

Just curious, was this filmed in February and if so do you guys have a heater going in the garage?
It is now one of my favorite Cubans as well really nice cigar. We did film this in February and have two outdoor propane heaters running. Are they to noisy?
