It’s truly a privilege to see what I referred to as the Miami Marlins of Hockey into a championship caliber team that will be a contender for years to come. Let’s go Panthers!
8:55 Devon Levi was also a Florida Panther 😂. The thing with Knight is that he has had mental help problems during these early years. Hopefully he has enough confidence in his game that this won’t affect him and he will demolish like we know he can.
Yup his first year knight was playing better then Bob, panthers front office loungo is their goalie operations, pretty confident they are happy about who is behind Bob.
Stolarz was a great backup. A few things to look at in detail though. I had these stats figured out at the end of last season and don’t feel like calculating them again. But the games he started were planned out. The majority of his starts were against teams that didn’t make the playoffs or western conference teams. I’m pretty sure he ended up with a losing record against teams that made the playoffs.
"The number one reason why they may not be as good is because they've been too good previously... They've played too many games because they've been too good". I had to laugh because I've been using that argument to temper my own expections this season! This preview warmed my heart - thanks guys.
They'll miss Montour and they have not many draft picks to trade away at the deadline, so they'll be trading away 2026 draft picks. I agree that Schmidt will probably look better in Florida than he has in his last few stops, because they're probably not going to ask much from him. Losing Oliver Ekman-Larsson won't hurt them, because he was just a stop gap for injuries that they got some extra use for. I'd be more concerned if I was the team that overpaid for either of Montour or Ekman-Larson, since Florida despite being cap strapped just seems to have a nose for talent when they're adding the right pieces at the deadline. This is not a team you want to play in the playoffs or when they're feeling hangry.
Save you the time: Spencer is NOT on the Cup and no Ring. Which are given out tomorrow in Sunrise. Nosek is out due to injury. Fla always reconstructs it 4th line with guys looking for a redemption tour. Caveat, they are Ecstatic about Giles. He had an outstanding camp and is looking to be a breakout rookie.
OEL, stolarz, Stenlund will be important misses. With that being said the 4th line is better, my concern is can the rookie on the third line live up to it.
Am I wrong or is Adam? I’m 10000% sure that Rodrigues was going to be a UFA when he was acquired by the leafs and the only reason why the Leafs traded for him was for his negotiating rights.
No he was an RFA eligible for arbitration and the Leafs balked (2M Qualifying Offer declined) so he became UFA and signed for minimum in Pittsburgh lmao
I don't think Knight is the Panther's future. He just hasn't proven himself. I don't think he's good enough and he's being paid way too much. I really wish they would have traded him and kept Stolarz.
Cats fan here. Was waiting for this to come out, thanks for all the love!
So refreshing to hear some nice words spoken about our team 😅
I’ll help. Your team is great so good, but the players are a bunch of 🐱 start stuff and then cower behind the refs.
@@harrisenglehart8938 Boston or Toronto fan? Hahaha
Lorentz was absolutely underrated. He put in work and we noticed it for sure. He will be missed.
Stenlund even more.
Lorentz playing on the Forth Line with Dewar and Reaves is going to be a tough line to play against.
@@Jooseppi420 Agree - Stenlund is a huge loss. And Lorentz's loss has been underrated
@@carolinedoan6150 yep for sure. I feel like stenlund was the most important guy. Big guy, good faceoff, penaltykill, very solid 200ft game.
If Florida wins the cup again this year I don’t think anyone would be surprised
The Nashville Florida final is gonna be nuts
I would be very surprised.
@@Isaias-v3x why? They haven’t lost any core pieces for on offensive for scoring goals there is only really 1 player who is not replaceable
@@Tyekiller115 they’re d core is cheeks now and no number 1 pp defenceman. It’s gonna hurt a lot I’m telling you
Ur talking like montour was some really good d man. He has never been awesome d man.
Thank you for showing love to Panthers 🙏
Barkov is the best captain ever 🇫🇮
Rip barkov sorry he only lasted two games hopefully hes not out for too long we need you guys beating the other guys in atlantic - sens fan
We brought back Chris Driedger, which is probably the biggest move we made tbh
Biggest move was that you managed to keep top 6 together. Reinhart and Lundell extensions.

Matthew Tkachuk is THAT good.

Y'all are sleeping on Uvis Balinskis. Great video, guys.
Thanks for the love! Hope Leafs knock out Boston!

The Leafs will win a cup before they beat Boston in a playoff series lmao

Don’t forget Nosek on that fourth line
If Steve says under, fire your GM immediately.
Worth the wait

Let's go Panthers!!!!
Finally some Panthers love …Unlike the Leafs the Panthers show up in the playoffs
Still a solid team even with all they've lost, easily a contender.

2022-23 was a weird season and its better to ignore most of it except for the last like 12-15 games and the playoffs
i dont think words can describe how bad the charlotte checkers defensive system is, they like to give goalies just zero chance

Maybe there could be a points inflation year if most game end in OT or shootout. Then picking the over for most teams could work lol
Best for last

In addition to Reinharts contract how about verhaeghe?? Only time time that bennett signs for 6.5
