Fr it goes from Hiccup being treated like an outcast to him being actually noticed and he never betrayed them he actually realized that dragons can be kind and the only reason Hookfang attacked was because Stoick hit the metal bar Hiccup was actually making progress to show that dragons are kind. Like fr from outcast to chief like y'all don't deserve Hiccup with how y'all treated him.
I'd love to see Hiccup as a villain. The reveal, when they find out the person they'd been fighting was the person they thought to be dead/missing, would be so devastating. MAN I'D PAY TO SEE THAT
