I'm this AU when hiccup was chosen to be k!// his first dragon his to plan to run away succeed and stoick witness his son's flying away.
Timeline:
Vikings still trying to figure out where the dragons nest is.

The fact that gobber was like a father hiccup because stoic basically did not care and did not belive in him but goober did makes me cry

Fishlegs was friendly to him because Fishlegs cared more about studying the beasts, not slaying them. Gobber was like the father who never had a son, he doted on Hiccup in a way that said that you can be happy with the things that make you content. You need not make others happy just so you yourself can feel happy. Goober and Fishlegs were the only two who never pushed Hiccup to become bloodthirsty. When Gobber tells him that he needs to be less of what he is, he is refering to being what his father wants, not what he wants, not what Hiccup wants. Only later does his father say that all of them needed a bit of what he was, not the other way around. If Stoick had won, they would only be bloodthirsty but since Hiccup won, they learned to make peace with the dragons and even learned to live alongside them which was completely brand new to them, but was a much better option than the killing and destruction that would have followed. Hiccup was what was needed to progress forward and its thanks to Gobber and Fishlegs that he didn't stray further than he already did.
What if.. GOOBER IS HICCUPS FATHER but I don't know 😅..
The fact that toothless prefers flying with hiccup makes me happy

Gobber was the only one proud of Hiccup.. This made me cry because my step-father abuses me and doesn't care for me. Gobber is a great man. Respect to him.

I love the Runaway Hiccup AU. It has so much potential
I have a personal AU where Hiccup runs away but before that, he convinces Astrid to join him and they go onto find Hiccup's mom and start to do what the whole gang did in the third movie. They freed dragons and instead of berk, they took them back to Hiccup's mom. They eventually found the hidden world and they let them all go there then started their family together.
I personally like the villain au it’s basically where hiccup flys away with toothless he finds valka and every night he and valka sneak to Berk and save alll the dragons they had captured but hiccup takes it a step further and gets revenge on stoic for all the trauma stoic caused hiccup
I sometimes wish Gobber was Hiccup's father because it really seems like he cares about Hiccup more than Stoick did

You can change the outline color for the hair and outfit

I think there's a hidden meaning behind his smile, gobber always told him to stop trying be someone else, so seeing him do something only he would do, brought joy, despite the awful situation, he's not happy about that happened but rather that hiccup stood his ground for what he wanted, even if that meant possible death
