And that ice is probably WAY below 0 degrees Fahrenheit so he was originally either warming up his body when he was IN the ice or he already was awakening his alpha mode and warming up and preparing his body for the cold when he was diving to protect hiccup.
And in RTTE (Race to the edge) toothless and the other dragons and hiccup and his gang barely wore any cold protective gear because Vikings live in cold climate mostly. And dragons heave strong scales that can help with tight turns. And what if the alpha mode came out because of toothless relationship with hiccup and the urge to protect.
I can’t be the only one who analyzes a movie and points out all the villains mistakes and points out all the ways the hero could die a horrible gruesome death?
