Wow, love the braided wrap & in the colour you chose, green is my favourite colour & it definitely shows off the braid, I've never tried cables before but I will have to give this one a go, thank you soo much Bonnie & a Happy St Patrick's Day to you all, from here in Ireland ☘💚💚💚💚
Love your patterns. You helped me stop fearing cables when I was still beginning to crochet. Just had to learn to slow down the video in the video options and pause often. Now, I can do far more advanced crochet patterns. I would probably be labeled intermediate to adv. Intermediate crocheter.
I am a semi beginner. I purchased the super scarves pattern book , which had some extremely pretty scarves. Especially the striped cable. If I may make a suggestion. It was easy to learn the stitches from you tube videos but I could not understand the directions in this booklet. I think it would be a great idea to provide some type of an accompanying video. These instruction booklet said it is for beginners but the instructions were not easy to understand for a beginner who has never followed a crocheting pattern
I have many stitch videos in this playlist that will be helpful with this book. For the record, I suggested just that to the publisher but they chose to not include such information - which is why I mainly self-publish now. Here's the playlist: ruclips.net/p/PLoIugZBYOS0WifcAU6rS7JDtaXV7-BD6E. If you need additional help you can always contact me via email at bonniebay@me.com.
Is there a pattern that allows a wider stole/wrap? I am using a dk yarn, however I am using a much larger hook but it is still only about 15” the first .7 rows. Please advise. Thanks
I've never felt like such a crochet failure until now. I thought I could do this - after all, I've done the celtic stitch and the basket stitch with success; however, I ended up with a huge clump of yarn where a large cable should be. I couldn't see where to skip the hdc or where to put one in, just made a knotted blob. I frogged and rewound the video multiple times, but Row 11 utterly defeated me every time. 🐸 🐸 🐸 😢
Maybe give it a break for a couple of days and try again. You can always send me photos of the problem area and I can take a look to try to help you. This is a bit more challenging, and you are NOT a failure just because the first few passes don't work. You can contact me at bonniebay@me.com.
Hi Bonnie, do you know what would be a good substitute for this yarn? I'm in Canada and I don't think that yarn is sold here. To buy from the US once converted is super expensive.
I love this pattern. What is cool is that you can make it as long as you want.
Lovely design.
I walked the Cliffs of Moher!!!!!
That green depicts them beautifully.
Isn't that one of the most beautiful places in the world? I had the blessing of being there in 2012 and will never forget!
Tq so much Bonnie …
may you always be happy in God's Blessings..
Best regards from Indonesia 🙏😘

How Wonderfull Mandee! That's one of my main goals - to make these available to everyone and simplify as much as possible!
This is really beautiful. Now I need to shuffle this to the front of my project list! 😀

Feel free to use your favorite worsted weight yarn Melanie!
Hi Bonnie,
Is this a unisex pattern? I love this.
I think anyone could wear this if they wanted to.
Row 13 is very difficult to do.
Yes, this is definitely an intermediate design.
😍🧶❤️👏👏👏👍🥰😘
