Very nice and you're good and clear speaking crochet teacher. Thanks. I really like the pattern and will try it out soon. Keeping your tutorial in my playlist. ❤ it
I love how the woven stitch looks with the handpainted yarn. I have several single skeins that will work great for this. Adding to my list of gifts to make.
@@BonnieBayCrochet I am doing well, thanks. Especially now that I had my cataract surgery so I can see clearly again. I forgot what colors really look like, now I can enjoy my crochet and knitting even more. 😃 Blessings to you and your family!
Hallo Bonnie, soooo wunderschön,die Farben sind der Hammer...Werde ich mir auch einen häkeln..Klasse hast du es gezeigt...Vielen Dank.L.G Karin ❤🎉👍🏻🙋♀️
thanks, this is a beautiful cowl, but I got confused for a bit so had to go back and check your other video of your sweet sloppy sweater.. you've called the stitch in this video the wattle stitch 3 times so far ;) though it's not the wattle stitch (I did check lol)
@@BonnieBayCrochet I probably wouldn't have noticed, except that I watched the sweater video (I am planning on making that!) before I saw this one. And I do that all the time myself :) thank you for your videos - everything I ever needed to know about crocheting cables I learned from you
Is there any other yarn that could be used as a substitute ? We only have box stores here. What weight is sock fingering? This is beautiful…would really like to try it. Thank you!!
This weight is a #1 in the US. You can really use any thickness but of course the numbers will change. A #2 (sport/baby weight) can be substituted with little change, I believe. You may want to bump up your hook size or at least swatch with it to see which fabric you like the best.

Great question. No, they are very different. This is made up mostly of Woven Stitches, not Wattle Sts. It is possible I misspoke here or there since I use the Wattle Stitch so very often in other designs.
What a lovely one hank wonder! ❤
Beautiful! So intricate, yet you made it so easy to do. Thank you!

Beautiful 😍 pattern thank you 🧶
Great for Christmas presents! 😊
How long did it take you to make one?
Hard to say, maybe a few hours? My muscle memory for this stitch is well established after so many years of using it!
@@BonnieBayCrochet Thank Bonnie.😊

The pattern says to chain 150 then next round it says to DC in each chain around (100 sts not including the turning ch) is that correct?
No, that should be 150 sts. The pattern has been updated to reflect this correction. So sorry for any confusion this may have caused!
Is wattle & woven the same stitch?
Great question. No, they are very different. This is made up mostly of Woven Stitches, not Wattle Sts. It is possible I misspoke here or there since I use the Wattle Stitch so very often in other designs.
a couple of times you said wattle stitch. Did you mean Wolven Stitch?
Wattle stitch. Scroll to 7:31 to learn this stitch.
Yes, I misspoke.

Ha ha! Sorry about that!
I absolutely love the woven stitch but it really gets your brain muscle working, lol ouch
Yes, you really need to take the time to establish the muscle memory. After that your brain can relax a bit!
