i’ve been using these for a little over a year in a dj setting. These are awesome! they are saving my ears each night i dj. i love hearing the club monitors without taking one earbud out.
I'm a singer, guitarist. Can I simply put my vocals into my ears and still hear the rest of the band without having to mic everything in?
Do any of the 3 models have a harsh treble?
Drummer running click. Will the ambient port allow click to bleed out to drum mics?
Our product experts have tested the series on a silent stage for drums, and found no problem or hindrance with any sort of clicking.
I can buy westone customizer In-ear Monitors with this new technology???
I am nightclub dj. would you guys recommend these for dj’s or is there another model that is better for dj applications?
I would recommend a around-the-ear set of headphones for a DJ. Using this will eliminate almost all of the ambient noise. But again it all depends how you mix.
alamakluke i bought the ambient pro 30s and i love them. i really love hearing the in club monitors but these really reduce the volume. i didn’t have ear fatigue at the end of the night on saturday. what a great product i must say.
I am a musician singer song writer, what is the difference between the am 20 and 30 thx, JOE
am20. 2 sound drivers 1 for bass, 1 for mid+treble. am30. 3 sound drivers 1 for bass, 1 for mids, and 1 for treble.
am30 would have better separation, imaging, and soundstage.
These seem like a viable option for my situation if I’m imagining it right. I play in a 4 piece band. The PA and monitors are only carrying vocals. But the drummer gets louder and louder all night. And the bassist brings a refrigerator sized amp to the pub because, apparently, he thinks it’s a Metallica stadium tour. So I end up pushing my voice too hard to hear myself. I want to be able to hear the band through the ambient port (remember they’re not in the monitor mix). And be able to turn up the vocal in the in ear drivers just enough to hear them over the ambient drums and bass. Is that what these do?
