I was honestly going to skip the Metcon section because it looked to hard. Here I am finishing day 6!! You are right! You can do anything in small increments! Thank you! Bring on Day 7!
These workouts have excellent content and enthusiasm and coaching. My only suggestion and this is not to be negative at all is to maybe slow it down just a bit so that quantity doesn’t override quality. I want to feel the right muscle doing the work and less momentum taking over. ❤️
You can always slow down the video through your settings, or pause as needed. I do like that the speed as it gets my heart rate up without doing targeted cardio sets.
I think she's sticking to HER level of fitness and she has Rachel doing modifications....you can't "cater" to everyone, if you get what I mean...don't mean that in any offensive way!! ❤️ And yes they have literally said in previous videos even regarding this program, that you can slow the whole video down, or pause if you need more time! I needed more time with burpees but I LOVED that her finishing "faster" was motivating to me!
What a workout, I loved it! 100 snatches. This 64 year old with bionic shoulder parts completed them all…with my 15 pound dumbbell. Nana strong…proud and empowered. Thank you for this. 🤗🥰🤩

I just did this workout this morning and happened to wonder what snatches were a functional workout for. I opened the garage door and knew what snatches were conditioning me for! 😅

First day of my "monthly" so no motivation and feeling crampy BUT I still did it!! Alternated between my 20lbs and 25lbs for the snatches. Glad I did it, now off to find my heating pad. LOL
Thanks- great workout and series! Regarding saying “the bad leg” , a physical therapist told me to refer to it as the” recovering leg” , when I had my hip replaced. Thanks again!

I can't believe that despite a day full of meetings, rain, endless drop-offs and pick-ups of kiddos, I just completed day 6! This is so far the best series of workout from NML. I feel motivated every day to show up. Love it! :-)

Holy Bananas! This workout is FIRE!!! I moved up to 25 lbs for the snatches and was exhausted by the end but completed 100! Bring on day 7! I am loving this! What an amazing community :)

It's been a crazy long week without any chance for an actual workout until today and I was feeling snatches so I came back to this workout. I used a 20 for the first 80 of them and switched to a 25 for the last 20! I feel like I can do 25s for all 100 when I come back to this one again!😁
I’m a die hard NML mama and it’s my second round through metcon 😅I love the reps and muscle fatigue opportunities! My one consideration is that we get more time with some of the big compound moves like the legally blonde squats and the rows-to-squats. I feel like I just start to get the moves down then times up! But overall love your workouts and been with you since my last two pregnancies!
Snatches are the best! I have started referring to this program as SweatCon! I have never sweated so much, every single workout I am drenched! Cannot wait to finish this week!
Normally I don’t like snatches or cleans but I felt like I was able to really get the move down after doing it 100x. By the end of it was able to switch from 10 to 15 lbs and feeling very strong! 💪🏼
Wow. Another great workout. Felt invincible after 100 snatches! This format also seemed to go by faster than some of the other ones. I love the straight sets, no frills formats I guess! Keep 'em coming, Lindsay! I love your workouts!

These strong women are the best! I was so excited to start metcon, and it does not disappoint. Lindsey is the best motivational instructor, and she pumps me up! After two kids, two c-cestions, two Laparoscopic surgeries in a very short amount of time, I finally feel STRONG and PROUD of how far I have come, and I feel like we do it together... My kids always cheer me on, and my three year old now calls me "skull crusher" when I work out haha... Rock on ladies and THANK YOU!!

This was my favourite one yet!!!! So much fun and loved feeling more core turn on during the strength moves. Really really loved the sumo squat squat w bicep curl + curtsey / 45 lunge combo!!!!! Did 80 snatches at 14kg and 20 cleans at 16kg 🎉🎉
Started the program last week so I'm finally on week 2. I've been a fan of NML since 2022 but stopped working out for about a year and fell back in love with the videos in june 2023 and haven't stopped since. Almost 30 pounds down now and I swear by nml videos and the occasional long distance jog. Awesome way to start the new year I must say!!!
I just wanted to say thank you because it doesn't get any easier than this. I feel off hard after working out for years and this type of thing is exactly what I need: free workouts that challenge me enough that I will get back in shape and with great motivators. Thank you Soo much!
Loved today's workout! I definitely notice marked increase in my core stability and shoulder strength today, which I'm thrilled about because those are my weak points! (Must have been all those push-ups and burpees last week!)
Lindsey, you said you were using 25 lbs… so, I figured, I’ll try for my 24 lber. I was slow at the first round of snatches, but I was able to keep up after that with the rate that you did the snatches, and it felt amazing! I did this in front of my son and even though he was watching his own show, he would look over at me, curious about what I was doing. I didn’t have someone showing me that I can workout at home just to feel alright like having a cup of coffee would… so I hope I’m showing my son that you can workout without being motivated by weight loss, and that it can be fun. It felt amazing to do this first thing in the morning. Thank you for motivating us, Rachel and Lindsey! It was also really nice to hear Rachel more in this one too!

These workouts are so good and love the energy and moves more than most any at home workouts. I just did the suggestion of . 75 speed to help me with transitions and it was perfect! Yaya! It makes me even more excited to do these!

Absolutely loved this workout (okay i sound like a broken record😂). I was thinking I would use 20 lb but Lindsey when I saw you had 25's you made me step up my game, it was definitely the right weight for me, thank you!
I did the first 2o0with a 20-pound dumbbell and it was challenging, but I wanted to see if I could do more! I picked up the 25 the next time and ended up doing the last 80 with a 25 dumbbell! What!?🤯I didn't know I could do that but I did! What a great workout!

I took it as a challenge to finish when Lindsey finish, but I know my limit and will pause if I need to (which is a lot of times 😅)

I love snatches! 100 reps with 25 lbs was tough but so am I 💪 Great format today alternating strength and core circuits.

Loved today's workout!
I definitely notice marked increase in my core stability and shoulder strength today, which I'm thrilled about because those are my weak points! (Must have been all those push-ups and burpees last week!)

My goal was to do all of these with 25lbs and I made it!!🎉
Lindsey, you said you were using 25 lbs… so, I figured, I’ll try for my 24 lber. I was slow at the first round of snatches, but I was able to keep up after that with the rate that you did the snatches, and it felt amazing! I did this in front of my son and even though he was watching his own show, he would look over at me, curious about what I was doing. I didn’t have someone showing me that I can workout at home just to feel alright like having a cup of coffee would… so I hope I’m showing my son that you can workout without being motivated by weight loss, and that it can be fun. It felt amazing to do this first thing in the morning. Thank you for motivating us, Rachel and Lindsey! It was also really nice to hear Rachel more in this one too!

These workouts are so good and love the energy and moves more than most any at home workouts. I just did the suggestion of . 75 speed to help me with transitions and it was perfect! Yaya! It makes me even more excited to do these!

I did the first 2o0with a 20-pound dumbbell and it was challenging, but I wanted to see if I could do more! I picked up the 25 the next time and ended up doing the last 80 with a 25 dumbbell! What!?🤯I didn't know I could do that but I did! What a great workout!
