      Es mejor solo en un ala para descompensar y es mas dificil que vuele.
      En Sevilla, España, los niños que empiezan la aficion lo hacen con las palomas que compran hasta que crian y reconocen los alrededores.
      Nunca con palomas de carreras porque es inutil. Solo buchones.😂

    You should be wary using course or powdered dry lime. Lime burns the birds feet & the dust will go in their eyes. You should by hydrated lime powder & mix it with water to a running consistency and paint it on the surfaces(white wash it's called) & allow to dry.

    How to train my old homed pigeion not to be scared of me and come to my hand

    • @burakloft568
      @burakloft568  2 года назад

      That is great question. Other people might have a different ways but this. But this is what l have done in the past. I cut there food to 1/2 what normal would feed them for like 4 or 5 days and every time I feed them I make whistling sound Letting them know it’s feeding time and they get used to that So every day I try to feed them by hand. by the fifth day some of them will come and eat out of my hand. because they are hungry enough to not be so scared. If that don’t work try to cut their food back even more just until they get used to you then go back up to normal rations

    Ive cut 10 primary feathers from old pigeons then after the 3rd clutch of squeakers i pulled the cut feathers. When the feathers grew back they left my loft. If the pigeons are very valuable don"t let them out. Keep them in a big breeding cage.
