I lived in the country, rescued a pigeon with a broken leg. Kept her all winter, in the house. In spring , drove 30 mins away to release her where she came from, the city. Fast-forward a few months, I moved to the city. I started feeding the wild pigeons and one day she showed up. I know it's her . Her leg is unmistakable. She was a yr old when I released her . She's 5 now and still comes every day, with her mate, and last year her young one.
I hope yours come back.
❤️🇨🇦
Whow!!
You should never force pigeons out and before you let them out you need to trap train them also never fly breeders
Well I fly my breeders but I no not to fors them
Yup 👍 never force out . Also some stay and some don’t is the game
@Caleb Niko you don’t deserve a girlfriend
@Marlyn Mascioli your literally such a creep you don’t deserve her
@@ebibby7039 what?
After you caught all of your pigeons you must put them in a cage in one month after one month you can release them and they will come back if they have a babies to feed don't push them to go back to the cage they will go inside on their own and you must feed them every day and you must watch them and talk to them your presence in the cage will be very important because your sense is they map for them to come home if they have go further distance this is my advice because that is the routine we do here in the Philippines thank you
Hello I just bought two big pigeons fully mature at what number should I start flying them
On adult previously flown birds...I have cut all the primary feathers on one wing on birds. Kept them in loft for 2-3 weeks and then let them fly. 90% of time they stay on loft or on house...and have had 50/50 luck on them staying around. The last two ended up disappearing after homing for 6-8 months....one first and then other...think it was a Coopers Hawk. So this time got 5 never flown young birds....to try.
I was going to comment the same thing. When they have babies, they always return. Same with the same noise when feeding time comes. Make the noise, (Whistle, shake a feed can, whatever) and they come back.
I put food in a cookie tin and when I feed them I shake the tin every time. Then when you fly them make them hungry and then shake the tin they will come back.
Oh no Bobby. You should never force them to go outside the coop, instead at least just let the door open and let the pigeons decide wether they go out or not and that way it's up to them if they gonna come back or not.
A general rule is if there not back by the third day there probably not coming home . You should make a nice big flight pen on the top of your loft . This allows the birds to see there surroundings in a relaxed state . Good luck for the future.
Love the pigeon vids. Just a few tips Bob, feed the birds about a tablespoon each bird for three days then on the fourth day open the door and let them be and then in the evening call them with the same whistle or call you normally use and feed them. Keep them slightly more on the hungry side and try to fly them more and more often they will be flying better in no time.
Got behind on videos, binge watching all of them now😂❤️
that’s awesome
Good video keep them up. Enjoy watching them
Awesome piece of land bro. I love our rooftops in NYC but, this is my dream...
Love the videos Bob
Love the vids bud late today, went spearfishing all day
I learned from president of local pigeon racing club. Build a vestibule platform enclosure around their one-way entry that you can put them in hungry until they figure out how to go in and eat. Design it to fold down in front of the one way entry to function as a platform where they can land. This way, they know how to get back in their home well before they fly.
In Egypt we let them out only 30 minutes before sunset so they sure come back before dark... we also put up a flag as a marker...
Love the videos. Might have to pluck a few feathers out enough for them to move around in the coop. And then let them step outside in and out til they know where to exit in and out.
I really love all your videos man!!! I live in Massachusetts in a small city so I have no hunting out here but I do magnet fish! Kinda jealous to not be out there in the country like you
Love the vids and I might think about getting my own pigeons 😃
love your vids bobby!
Keep it up. Love your vids
You should have never force them out!!!!
Wow nice loft 😁
Let’s see some more pigeon hunting. Really hate that ya lost Clark. Hopefully one day we will be out there to hunt with ya!
New subscriber. Great video. Thanks for the info.
hey you said your seasoning comes out june 1st in the video but I'm pretty sure that it is july first right
You are literally the worst pigeon trainer ever. HAHAHAH! Luv it!
Hey Bobby awesome video 🤘🇬🇧
Good luck, i only put my birds in the coop fot 2 weeks and then opened up the door. They all came back. This has always worked for me.
Never force them out, just leave the doors open, they normally go out a few at a time at the start and they know it’s safe to come back the way they left
Add a landing board at front of loft going in where double doors are than they'll land on it walk into loft
Good luck in getting all your pigeons back bobby btw how's fred doing?
Hey bobby.. 7/1 1230am central time.. order 3 dux seasoning.. can't wait bro...
This was a lil sad 😔
Bobby if it was released June 1st id already have it! lol Can't wait for July 1st when the DUX all meat seasoning comes out!!
Right I thought that's what he said and in Jordan's vid he said July 1... lmao!!
I love the videos! I hope you read this to help your pigeon loft, I seen a few mistakes you did by rushing the birds out on there first time out your posed to let them out by themselves some bird might not be ready for to fly out some take there time and you recently moved the pigeons probably didn’t get a good chance to see there surroundings and still could be used to your old house as home or the other loft they came from so you put your birds in a cage few feet away from the loft so they can see all there surrounding for an 1 hour each day if they young birds 3 year olds or less 2 weeks doing that would be great the older the bird the longer you might want to do it maybe for 3 weeks or 4 I have successfully loft Federal pigeons and racing pigeons, I hope you do too! I hope Jordan see this too and try it would be amazing to see 200+ pigeons flying together around the barn 🤘
The only thing I can add to this is stuff that has been said. Keep them hungry, NEVER force them out. Yeah, if they've never flown outside? They get winded easily. Definitely make a fly pen/ screened portion that they can see in all directions before you try again. Hopefully, you got them all back and keep letting them out. Even if there's only half back? Those are your foundation birds. Good luck!
just a tip if you want to fly your pigeons yuou need to condition them then put a little colored flag on your loft then make a trap door for them to enter after flying so you can close the door of your loft and still they can enter thru the trapdoor
I've been thinking about getting some pigeons. Any tips on having pigeons? Like housing, food, etc.
A early bobby film yahoo i love your videos
Before you let the out to fly, make sure they do fly on an empty stomach.
They will fly & exercise better & they will enter into your pigeon coops when food is available for them. Trap train them also, so that way they will be able to gain entrance to the lofts. Always fly them on empty stomach then call them in with food.
Lovely pigeons by the way & a good loft setup.
The way they threw them out 😂
very good looking pigeons
Hey Bobby it is July 1st for the dux season
and were did the 4th of July lanyard go?
When you let them out for the first time, DO NOT, DO NOT chase them out from your coops 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣 . They may never come back !!!! 😂😂🤣🤣
So I’ve been thinking about getting a pigeon and I heard that noise while I was driving and thought it was your pigeon calling. I literally said well fuck I’m not getting one of those. Relieved to see it was just your friend. Thanks for great video.
Yessirrrr. Timed this one on the drive in for the late shift. NOTIII
hahahah
@@BobbyGuyFilms step bros moment: I can't believe you would let me do this, this was a horrible idea. We don't even know how to use power tools.
Get the birds used to a grain bucket ! Here in Turkey we fly birds all the time and when we need the birds back in the coop we just shake the bucket and sprinkle some food in and around the coop/loft they go inside almost immediately
Do not keep them closed. Open the door and let them fly on their own. Now that they have come back they will stay and fly around.
Another great video tho👍 you live and learn🙂 pigeon are very smart you should get most of them back🤞 if the white pair are still around you should be able to trap them.
Love it . Settling pigeons to the loft . It's a mare . U should have kept the food off them for 24hrs . That way they'd have come back in for food . Then opened the door and let them come out and do their own thing . Chasing them out was the worst ucould have done . The ones that came back are settled . NEXT TIME . Open the door , walk away and let them come out on their own . Get them straight back out there. Nice try though Bob . Good luck . Love the vids 👍👍
Awesome
No worries Man. You'll get some more.
So he can lose them again and let them die out in the wild. People who don’t do research before doing risky stuff don’t deserve animals at all
Keep Tristan around, i like that guy
With new birds that never have been released, how long should they stay in their coop before releasing them for their first time?
Did you mean July first for the dux rub
As soon as i seen this video i new it would be great i love your videos i hope i can meet you one day
Bob why did you let them out they are homed to your other loft and there is a trap on it you need to train them to it
Good luck with the pigeons
Seasoning available June 1st? It’s June 29th a little late haha.
June 1st for all meat DUX? I’ve been missing out for a month already
Bob you should build a big perch for the in the air because they like stuff like that usually the that fly a round my place live on the barn a come and get food
Hey Bobby surely they will come back . On the seasoning hope you meant July 1
Do you have kept hi flyer pigeons ? If not try some bro you will really enjoy them
Best of luck getting your birds back. Hopefully there still close🤙🏼👍🏼
You have to make a trap on the loft than trap train them to a signal
Ohhh the seasonings out 👍 tho flair said on his latest upload its still prototype
Bobby you should put bands on the breeders so you know which one goes where love the videos man keep it up don’t worry they should return to feed the babies
Did you keep them in for three weeks because if you did not the would not home
Hi. I saw your video and thought I'd send you some ideas. First, somewhere, on your coop, build a landing board up high and with no legs to the ground as racoons will climb them, get in and eat your birds. second, using traps just like you have on your trap on top of the coop, cut a hole in the side that just fits your traps and then put the traps in the hole. Now you have a doggy door type entrance for your birds. Before you release them, build a little 2'x2' cage with one side open and place the open side against the coop where the traps are that you just put in. Put all your birds in the cage and then put food in the coop. Each bird will eventually navigate the traps and go in. Do this 4 or 5 times then when you let them out they have a door to go in and they know how to go in. After that, you just let them out and hope for the best.
Do you keep your boy and grli pigeon in the same pigeon Koop
And also you can tape their first four feathers on each wings and release them. They won’t be able to fly, that way they will get use to the area
Go check the old house a few might be hanging out there
love the vids keep it up by the way I don't care to much about the magnet
sing it boys love that callin
Who’s deer antlers in the shop?
Bobby if u keep letting them put once a week or so they will get better and come back to you and they could even draw in the other burds like Clark and keep up the work 👍🏾
U should breed all the birds in the lofts
That might be confusing to read but I meant to say the pigeons inside the loft aka the ones who returned u should breed
great video man you should come hunt in Idaho
You should try making your own duck call or just make the barrel and buy the inserts and tune it to your own
July 1st my man
The Adults will go back to where they hatched at if they are or have homing blood in them. If not they are gone for good.
They done flew the coop.
If you want to keep them from flying back out you need a one way door. Basically a small door that they can push open when they come in but can't push back out. And easy one is to use a series of vertical metal bars about the thickness of chain link fencing and have a swivel point at the top. Have them spaced far enough apart that they can fit their heads through and they will push through. You may need to train them a little first by hand. It also works for doors on traps. It's used quite a lot here in Germany. Also you should use slide down doors just big enough for the birds to get out. You just open the doors and let the birds go out on their own and not push them. Once they are all out just shut the slide doors and have a small perch for them to land on with the one way doors there. They should be side by side or they may become confused and just fly back off and not return.
Guess I should've waited a little more. The swing door like what's on the trap, lol.
love you
Dude I let my birds out last week for the first time and I lost them all 😂 second day 4 or the 17 came back but all the others haven’t
Where is part 2 ? After trapped , did you catch the pigeons
Late to comment but i have at least 10-15 different types of pigeon black, white and brown. I let them out but first before you let them out you chuck food on the floor to show them that you care and that even they go out that you will feed them and hopefully they should come back to you and in the cage as my pigeon the fly and come back to the cage all of them.
I saw a white pidgin on the corner of Halstead and 30th a few days ago I could of been yours??
They are wild birds they probably just flew away! But the ones that stayed behind have some homing ability which if you keep breeding them, you should have some nice homing barn pigeons.
let them walk on the ground for 2-3 days and train them to go in and out of loft while taping their wings
Nice
You live and learn.
Keep an update if they come back or if you trap them
It’s ok if not all of them come back. Only the ones with good homing instincts will come back so you cAn breed them.
If you let your cocks out only, the first few times, 8f they have mates, they quickly return. They will show the other birds what to do. I leave my lofts open unless to windy, always. Breeders are trapped but, they can leave, babies cant.
If they are mated and happy, they will always come back.
They put themselves to sleep before dark, like chickens. I close traps later and fly my teams, no breeders.
(If im using fake eggs, i fly them)
I think you mean July first😂for the seasonings
You should do more of these vids and you should race them 🏁
My uncle does this in Pakistan and it takes time to train them
I sure hope he meant that the seasoning was coming out JULY 1 and not June 1st!!😂😂
Geez, I couldn't watch the part where they were thrown away :)) I hope you got at least half of them back. (still watching the video, I don't know the end yet)
You never let of them out they come back for the mate ....that is the only real incentive
I think I saw Clark at the petrol station filling up a ford pickup
Can you do a video showing your chickens and ducks
You can attach that trap to the side of your Loft and use that Bob trap like you're meant to
