    @mishmosh007 Maybe if somebody clobbered him a couple of times we'd see the real FURY coming out. Still, he's all of 22, with a 12-0 record, so give the young man some credit. In 2-3 years he'd be more than a match for Haye and even the Klitschko bros.

    A 6'9'' heavyweight who bangs very well to the body, has a strong jab, relatively quick hands and is fairly mobile. If he firms up a bit, carries on learning and if he has a good chin, he could be the real deal. Interesting to see his progress.

    Whoever compares Tyson Fury to David Haye or the Klitchkos knows nothing about boxing, and should shut up in public forums. Fury is a good up and coming prospect, but still at infancy. He has the tools to make him a force in the heavyweight category. If I could advise him, I'd tell him to move over here to America and build on what he already has. The heavyweight class needs people like him to restore the excitement it once had, which is why we're thankful for David haye

  • @smoky2004
    @smoky2004 15 лет назад +1

    I'm not sure, could Haye get past Fury's jab? Fury's speed for a man his size is very rare indeed. I don't think Haye would want anything to do with him!

    You have a brain after all. Why couldn't you have made this comment to begin with? Instead of hurling abuse!
    I still don't agree with you. It might have worked for tyson but i can name you a load of boxers it didn't work for. He doesn't need to put muscle on. Its not a bodybuliding contest. He just needs to have power!

  • @AuthenticSelfGrowth
    @AuthenticSelfGrowth 15 лет назад

    Yeah, i agree. I'm actually into both boxing and bodybuilding. Boxing training can be good for bodybuilders because it can help them tone up.
    But, lifting weights won't do much for a boxer. Boxers can use sprints to build exlosiveness and chop wood and shit lol. That sort of training bulids all-over power rather than muscle!

  • @TreforTreforgan

    Muscle defintion has nothing to do with boxing.
    He needs to be in shape, be able to go 12 rounds and be able to punch hard. If his body adapts and becomes muscular then fine but I doubt it will. He doesn't have the body type!

    Tyson delivered some rock solid liver punches through hooks and crosses. He murdered him with the last one - the real Tyson would never have shown such sportsmanship, he would have pummeled the guys head into the canvas to administer his own coup de grace and ensure complete dominance over his opponent.

    Good analogy. Also, haven't seen any comments to about this, but is anybody aware that Tyson Fury is/was a "Pikey"? (think Brad Pitt in the movie, "Snatch") Perhaps the P.C. terminology is "Irish Traveler" or even "Gypsy"? I don't know, since I know shit all about them except for what I saw in the movies "Snatch" & a bit older movie, "King of the Gypsies". Kinda interesting IMO. Anyway, they are know for "scamming" & Fury is pulling a scam on sports fans everywhere, by impersonating a boxer.

    This was Tyson's most impressive display yet, his left body hook is a very potent weapon, again he had the oponent almost crying like a baby from a body shot.
    I've never seen in boxing men made to cry like babies, they must be very hard shots.

Please look at the records of some of the great fighters like Mike Tyson and Erik Morales and have a look at their first 6 opponents. Bribing the panel... considering that both the klitscho's have a ridiculous KO percent, it doesnt usually go to the judges... and when it does they usually only lose a round or 2 in the whole fight.
    Why wouldnt they fight in germany??? Its their home, they are the champs, if people want the belts they should have to go to germany and try take them

    I didn't mean he needs to be muscular.....I agree he needs to be in shape to go 12 rounds...
    Also it's a mental thing isn't it?....Because he's tall and got the reach...he's in danger of being lazy....and relying on a jab that smaller men can't get to him through....
    Frankly, most of the heavyweights won't cause him much problem...but as he gets to the quality fighters they will figure him out....he's gotta get better...I am interested why Phatfarm1980 doesn't think he has the right body shape

    thats a poor arguement, most 'prospects' fight fighters with losing records in thier 'early days' Mike Tyson for example in his 1st 6 fights fought guys with a total of 17 wins /40 losses even worse % and less experience, i think u will find the standard he has met so far is 'par for the course'. maybe he is getting to much attention at this stage, but he looks a good prospect to me, time will tell!
