Welcome back Hannah! I hope that you’ve been enjoying your family time and that everyone is happy and healthy! You chose some great yarn and I’m excited to see what you’ll do with it in the year to come. You are typically very intentional about your choices and your makes and enjoying your stash and I appreciate that. It’s made me think about my own habits as well. ❤
So glad to see you on youtube again! Happy New Year and congrats on your new addition to the family! You were one of the first podcasters I started wathcing at the beginning of my garment knitting journey. I even started my own channel talking about my knitting. Thanks for all you do!
yaaayyyy welcome back, Hannah!! i was so happy to catch up with you - and to witness your excitement about the new lovely yarn that entered your home. :) can't wait to see what lovely things you make with them all!
So happy to watch this one!! I’m also planning a lot of striped projects- maybe there’s something in the air! I personally love the way you speak and your cadence! Always find myself wishing there wear more knitting podcasts like yours (tbh I’ve just been playing your older videos during your leave!)
I'm so excited you're back! I love watching your videos - they are always so warm and welcoming! I'll be in your situation in a few months, so I'm looking forward to seeing what your making time looks like with two littles, even if it isn't much!
I’m so excited to see you back in the new year! Hopefully the holidays were wonderful for you and your family. I can’t wait to see what you get up to this year😊
So happy to see you! I love your videos and your taste in colors. All your yarns are lovely! All the best for you and your sweet family. Excited to see new videos😊
what a lovely video, I completely agree about stripes!! Also welcome back! I was so excited to see you uploaded a video! but also do not feel pressured at all to come back to proper regular uploads :)
Welcome back and congratulations on your new daughter. Can't wait what knitting you can squeeze into a busy new mom life!! Regarding the frogged Good Will. I encourage you to wash it so it loses its curls and bumps. I just watched a very interesting podcast by Suzanne Bryan where she compares superwash and non sw yarn by making swatches, blocking, and then frogging and reknitting. The difference in the rewashed and skeined frogged yarn and the non rewashed was significant. Happy New Year!!
Welcome back Hannah!!! Happy New Year!! That mauve natural DK yarn from Woolberry is BEAUTIFUL. I feel like when I wore my babies/toddlers, cardigans were easier to put on and take off (and worn open instead of buttoned up since buttons and little baby faces in the front didn't always go well) since it could be worn over a carrier versus a pullover for when I got hot (which happened a lot when wearing a little heater). Plus, as our bodies change a lot post-partum, the fit of cardigans can be a little more forgiving than pullovers. Just some things to think about! I have cast on my Farnham Sweater!!! I'm using Winter Grass (undyed) for the main color and Wild Mustard for the CC stripes (both Good Wool by Purl Soho). LOVE yours. For your KFO, maybe look at the Kinsan from Moon and Turtle?? There are lots of stripe combos in the pattern to play around with. I like the neckline construction and it's a top-down raglan. P.S. - lovely sound quality, resolution, and lighting!
Thank you for the comments on the quality- I tried to up it this time! I wear Poppy so much that it’s hard to wear my sweaters too! The cardigan idea is so helpful and I didn’t even think of that. Hoping to cast one on today!
Welcome back and so glad you have a healthy baby girl. 😊 I’m so into stripes this year as well. A couple from petite knit, kutovakika, Cheryl mokhtari and others. Happy New Year!
So glad you are back! I missed your videos. Congrats on your baby ❤ I just had a baby three weeks ago and am wondering how I will ever get back to making podcast videos and knitting but this makes me think that it can be done ;)
Aw congratulations to you! The best thing I found was to be gentle on myself. I tried quite a few times before there was a moment when everyone was fed/happy/quiet enough ❤️
Awww welcome back-- I'm so looking forward to seeing your videos in my feed again 😊 Re the abby genser, I am pretty sure I have seen it on sale at mother knitter. I think the downside of the sandnes garn pattern books is you can only purchase them with a sweater quantity of yarn 🥲I have also purchased their booklets from garntopia in oslo. I did have to pay for international shipping but the yarn requirements for purchasing are less!
Yay!! So glad to see you back here, Hannah. You are so fun saving up all of your yarn purchases. I love it!! I admittedly went on a fiver buying spree right before Christmas. Since the dyers had wrapped each fiber individually, I put them in gift bags under the tree to open on Christmas Day.
I'm excited to see you back! Congratulations on baby Poppy! Thanks for sharing all the exciting yarn with us! And I liked what you had to say at the end about what you want your channel to be like and finding your audience. I have been thinking about that recently with my channel (I'm also having issues with lighting and umms 😅). And I have a toddler also, which as you know, can make things tricky for filming. Anyways, welcome back 😄
Welcome back and congratulations on your baby girl 💗 I really want to cast on a striped sweater, the two I have narrowed it down to The Farnham Sweater and Double Date Sweater. The DDS would be great for your scraps! Take care 💓
Congratulations on your baby! I’m planning on making my KFO merino/mohair scraps into the Aros sweater by petiteknit, I’ve heard the fit is really nice!
Welcome back! Happy new year. I was going to suggest either the Stripe Hype or the Sibling Sweater 😊I hope you find your rhythm with knitting again soon!
Congratulations and welcome back!! I just had a baby not long ago too and have found myself just making baby knits and adult accessories...wanting to make a cardigan for myself for the convenience factor too but it's less enjoyable/motivating than a normal sweater. How do you find handling mohair and cuddling baby to your chest? I get worried it'll get all over their eyes and mouth so a lot of the projects I've planned/bought yarn for are not suitable now. Also regarding striped cardigan - maybe try the Creabea? I can't remember the name off the top of my head but she has a gorgeous striped cardigan that looks a bit Chanel jacket inspired depending on the colour combos
please let mr know if you figure out how to purchase Sandnes Garn patterns without purchasing the yarn to go with it. I have yarn for a couple patterns already and didn't realize til later that you must purchase both through a distributor of theirs. The only one in the states is Mother Knitting.
Welcome back! Congratulations on the birth of your daughter, such a blessing.

Stars hollow for sure ❤
That was a special time ❤️
What is the pattern you used for the felted slippers? They are beautiful
It’s “Double Slippers” by Sandnes Garn. It’s free on their website!
please let mr know if you figure out how to purchase Sandnes Garn patterns without purchasing the yarn to go with it. I have yarn for a couple patterns already and didn't realize til later that you must purchase both through a distributor of theirs. The only one in the states is Mother Knitting.
