Awesome gun! Just got mine 2 weeks ago for $259. Ran about 100 through it yesterday (gotta conserve right now). Ran flawlessly. Great groupings. Super happy with it. All I’ve done is add some Talon granulated grip on the left upper part of the grip and the area around the take down lever for my support hand. Going to do the night sights for sure. Got a Concealment Express kydex tuckable IWB holster and it conceals really well on the hip.
I really like my G3XL. Put about 300 reloads through it with no problems. Load 124 grain plated on top of 5.7 grains of Winchester 572. The best powder for that bullet according to my Lee Manual. Sweet shooter. Next I will run 50 defensive rounds through it; Hornady CD & Sig hollow points. Then I will feel good about carrying it! It is a great buy!

Do you recommend the Taurus G3, Ruger Security 9 or the S&W SD9 2.0? They all run about the same price but I’m not sure which one is the most reliable or best deal. Great content btw
Well I have reviewed the G3 here obviously, but I also reviewed the SD9 2.0 earlier this year- I have not reviewed the Security 9 so I cannot speak on that one. You may want to watch my SD9 2.0 review to compare it to this one- allthough I'm a better marksman now in 2024 than I was in 2020 for this video. Everybody is different. They are all great performers for the price. The 2.0 only comes with one mag but the G3 comes with 3- that may be something to consider. But overall since they are so evenly matched, my recommendation would be to handle all 3 at a shop and go with the one that feels the best in your hands. And I'll throw you a curveball- my pick at this price range would be Stoeger STR-9, which I also reviewed and absolutely love. And right now they are running a heck of a rebate one them, some places you can pick one up for under $200 after the rebate. The cheapest model only comes with one mag but some come with 2 or 3 mags. With that being said, the g2 and g3 trigger feel the same to me: crisp break with no creep. The only difference I notice is the G3 is about a pound lighter on the pull. And as shown in the video, the blade safety is different, which doesn't "catch" on me when I pull like the g2 does. So I would say it's an uprgrade over the g2 trigger, being lighter and not catching. But as far as "spongy," no clue what you're talking about so I can't answer that. Maybe yours has a problem? When you log in and go to your channel there is an option to view it as a sub or new visitor instead of yourself, then you will see what I'm talking about. Also, don't forget tags, very imparitive. Plus you videos are very short, at least of the car. Most people aren't going to click on a 20sec video. Try to make them at least 1m, but without stalling or recording borning shit. You could watch a few of my 0-60 videos for an example. Brief explanation of the car, or just show a few pulls or something to get that 60 seconds. Never bore the audience though.
I own more expensive guns but none more reliable then my g2c and g3 taurus.my g2c i did change the trigger out but my g3 is stock.i have over 4500 rounds through the g2c now and over 3500 rounds through the g3 with no malfunctions with either gun.i shot all different kinds of ammo if its 9 mm they will shoot it which is more then i can say about some of my ammo picky guns that cost more money.i carry my g3 and my g2c as my backup.
Zero issues from mine as well. They run like $500 guns but cost less than half that. Hands down the best guns out there for the price. For only 50 (g2) and 70 (g3) bucks more than a Hi-Point, you're getting a gun that is at least twice as good with a higher capacity mag as well. Frankly, anyone who buys the Hi-Point instead of spending the extra 50 bucks is daft. What's crazy is some places have the Hi-Points for as high as $180, so another 20 bucks would get you the g2...
That's where the savings are at right there, making this pistol $200 instead of $400. For barely costing more than a Hi-Point, I have no complaints at all, it can rattle all it wants.
Because it was filmed at a public range so other people were shooting. So unless you want to provide me with some private property to shoot on, it is what it is. Sorry I'm not one of those millionare youtubers that owns hundreds of acres...
I stated an observation and gave an example, nothing more. Besides, I am now freehand shooting a smaller sized gong at 20 further yards than he does in his pistol videos, so I'm at least an equally good shot today if anything. *There's* your comparison...
Because someone is always there shooting and it's the only place I have to go. A while back I released a video saying how it sucked trying to record at public ranges because there is always gunfire and I can't make proper videos. People cussed me out and unsubscribed saying shit like "who do you think you are" and "people have the right to shoot how they want" and called me names and such for just trying to say it was difficult. Other people said it's understandable and it's not a problem. Then there's you. I can never win, somebody always has some damn complaint...
Blazer Brass? I shoot it almost exclusively 😅 I've even gotten 200 yard performance out of it in my carbine. Never jams, always goes bang. Curious why you say it's junk? Even the aluminum cased Blazer has always performed well for me. Now if you want to see some real junk 9mm, watch my Armscor video if you haven't already.
Hmmm. Never paid attention to if it was any dirtier or not. I would buy Winchest, Federal, or Magtech all day long if it was the same price. I get the blazer brass for $9, and the others are usually $12; depends on sales.

Well I guess buds are out now to, no surprise. You'll just have to keep checking all the online dealers daily: Buds, Sportsmans Guide, Academy, Cheaperthandirt, etc. Google is your friend, friend.
Guns&Cars any opinions on gun broker.com...?
@@ngarci8040 I have sold on gun broker before, it's legit. It's basically ebay for guns.
Also try Armslist. It's like craigslist for guns.
Stuck if this or xd9 by springfield.
Miss it already 😂
Nice pistol.
Thanks
My g2 Dosnt like outdoor/Aluminium / steel ammo
I never shoot that stuff
...and what can I expect to pay?
Several answers in the comment section where to buy. As for price, everyone is price gouging right now thanks to covid and I have seen these listed for over $300 lately even though I only payed $219.
Thanks, I also notice price gauging.
Just subscribed by the way
Thank you! I got over 500 videos for you to check out if you're quarantined like us lol, though my best work has been in the past couple years. The G's look good in the two tone, wish my G2 was stainless/black.
Guns&Cars do you mind subscribing to mine? I’m at 45 trying to get to 100
Sure, but why 100? Can't monetize anything until 1000. I subscribed, but only for the car lol.
Guns&Cars no one is viewing my content for some reason so I’m trying to start small. Just uploaded a new video
@@Armylife1998 You need to change your channel layout bud. The way you have it set, I can only see your last 4 videos.
Would this be a good gun for conceal carry?
If you want to carry a larger gun, sure. The Taurus G2 which I also have a video of would be ideal for concealed carry, as it is much more compact.
Fits Glock 19 holster
Good to know
Long trigger pull made you shoot low.
@@BuckeyeBallistics i paid 179 dollars for my g2c at Academy and my g3 i paid 230 dollars but got a 25 dollars rebate on it so 205 for it at Academy.
179 wow
I bought one a few months back and have put about 5k rounds thru it at this point it works flawlessly it just makes so much noise when u shake it 😭😭
That's where the savings are at right there, making this pistol $200 instead of $400. For barely costing more than a Hi-Point, I have no complaints at all, it can rattle all it wants.
Easy fix Don put a O ring on bottom of both mags no rattle what so ever. Mags drop fine no feed issues.
Why is there the sound of a gunshot track replaying every 5 seconds? I can’t even watch this video
Because it was filmed at a public range so other people were shooting. So unless you want to provide me with some private property to shoot on, it is what it is. Sorry I'm not one of those millionare youtubers that owns hundreds of acres...
Not a good idea to compare your shooting and channel to Hickok. Ha. Still a good vid.
I stated an observation and gave an example, nothing more. Besides, I am now freehand shooting a smaller sized gong at 20 further yards than he does in his pistol videos, so I'm at least an equally good shot today if anything. *There's* your comparison...
👍👍✌️
🤙
❤
It is the size of the Glock 19.
A little bigger
I have one check out my video on it 👍
Why would you do a review at a range while someone's shooting ???.... uhhhhgg
@@BuckeyeBallistics Gotcha ! lol... its cool
Work on that grip
Blazer is junk ammo in my opinion
Blazer Brass? I shoot it almost exclusively 😅 I've even gotten 200 yard performance out of it in my carbine. Never jams, always goes bang. Curious why you say it's junk? Even the aluminum cased Blazer has always performed well for me. Now if you want to see some real junk 9mm, watch my Armscor video if you haven't already.
@@BuckeyeBallistics blazer has been extremely dirty low quality ammo
Hmmm. Never paid attention to if it was any dirtier or not. I would buy Winchest, Federal, or Magtech all day long if it was the same price. I get the blazer brass for $9, and the others are usually $12; depends on sales.
@@BuckeyeBallistics damn that's a good price, I'm in maine and a box of 9mm goes for 12-25$ a box, blazer was 500 rounds for 150$ I thought that was expensive for blazer
Looks like a bootleg glock
Can't wait to trade in my Taurus G2c 9mm it sucks!!! Feels like it's all plastic and would fall apart at any Givin minute! Or blow up in yer face.
I guess thats why the g2c was the best selling pistol for over 2 years and still running.
