    This week I had two April weddings and in this video I take you to see what I have been cutting from the flower patch to arrange the bridal flowers. Tulips, narcissi, hellebores and spring greenery are all looking beautiful and chosen for this weeks weddings.

    It'a August 24 and I am stuck in bed with COVID. I just discovered your channel and I cannot begin to tell you how beautiful your arrangements are. To make such beautiful bouquets and buttonholes with these very early spring flowers. You are a true artist, and have a wonderful eye! I think these are the most beautiful buttonhole bouquets I've ever seen! I love your creative use of evergreens with the rosemary and what looks like bay. Absolutely gorgeous!

      Hello and thank you so much for watching and for the very kind words. You have made my day 😊 I love working with all the beautiful flowers the garden has to offer through the changing seasons and being able to make every bouquet or buttonhole unique. Get well soon and I hope you haven’t had COVID symptoms too badly. Thanks again Catherine x

    I have a very deep admiration for flower growers who also have FLORISTRY skills. The very best I can do is jumble some blooms together for a farmers market bouquet. Good on you - fantastic Catherine.

      Thank you Alison 😊 every year I learn a bit more about arranging through trial and error but it’s all self taught. Sometimes the bouquets work first time and sometimes I have to take them apart and start again until I get it right. They are definitely my style rather than using any traditional floristry techniques but I love making them and using really different material from the garden in them x

      Dear Catherine, It is so hard for me, I am so scared to grow flowers, because I worry when, how, is it ok and on, and on...and I live in a flat, but I have house in Dalmatia and cottage innthe country, and I am not there all the time sonit is difficult.
      Best regards, Renata🤗🌹🌹🌹

      Hello Renata, thanks so much for watching 😊 Growing flowers is definitely a learning curve. I am still learning lots every new season and I love that about gardening. It is difficult though when you aren’t there all the time and have hot summers where plants need watering a lot x

    Love your bouquets Catherine, they are so delicate and pretty. I'm sure the brides were delighted. I do enjoy watching your videos because I live on the northeast coast of England so your weather conditions are similar to mine . I'm looking forward to more videos from you, they are much appreciated.

      Thank you so much Margery. It was lovely making the bouquets with so many nice things to use from the garden. We will have very similar weather. You may be a touch ahead of us but not by much. I am looking forward to doing some more gardening videos in the next few weeks, there’s so much to do!

    Catherine, you make BEAUTIFUL bouquets, and you have really inspired me to try planting flowers from seeds like lisianthus, nigellas, bupleurum and poppies to name a few. I have a small yard so I have to be strategic about what I plant. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and tips with us.

The flowers you grow are so beautiful ❤️ I know you had some very happy brides 👍 Thank you for telling us what all the names were, I'm always looking for new exciting things to grow and that bridal wreath spirea is so pretty! 😀 I also never knew you could use the helebores in bouquets and they're gorgeous ❤️

    What beautiful wedding flowers. I am sure the brides were delighted. You are so talented. So impressed with all your seed growing. I am trying a flowerbed for the first time this year and just have a couple of trays of cosmos, some zinnias, targetes and tomatoes but feel so stressed moving trays around, in and out out of the sun in the greenhouse, are they too dry, are too wet ugh!! Hats off to you for juggling everything. Have a calm, peaceful week.

      @cloudberryflowers-flowerfarm  2 года назад

      Thank you, it was a really nice week to make the wedding flowers as it was so calm and sunny. I have done weddings before where I am shovelling snow off the tops of the low tunnels to keep it from crushing the tulips! I hope you get on well with all your growing this year. I am keeping my fingers crossed I can get my zinnias flowering well again if we get a sunny summer.
