This was so helpful, my climate is the same as yours In Stirlingshire and I have noticed quite a few damaged petals. Great advice as usual, thank you so much ☺️

Thanks so much for watching. You will have had a similar summer over near Stirling. August has been a bit drier which is good and the plus side I guess is not having to water much this summer!

I've never been so aware of the weather as I have been as a flower farmer ! Great video Catherine. I hope September is kinder to you 😊🌞🌻

Thank you. I know, I have never been so caught up in the weather either since I starting to grow flowers. Having stopped the weddings this year it has been nice to not be quite as anxious when you hear a gale blowing round the house at night and wondering if the wedding flowers will make it!

Do you have a video about growing Aster? I have not succeeded with them yet but hoping next year will be different

I have a video on perennial asters but not on growing annual asters as this is the first year they have really worked for me. I think that is a future video now I starting to get the hang of growing them 😊 They are a great strong flower when they work and definitely my favourite colour is the apricot ones.

I love the sunflowers, what variety are they please?
