Wow THANK YOU. I just had the worst night with a stomach flue, waking up to an entire bay in bed and then I found you. WOW all your videos are incredible. With love, Lena a swedish cut flower farmer
I had recently started watching your videos. The the tornados hit and I was shocked when I realized it was you 2 and you were saying it destroyed your out buildings. My prayers go out to you and your family and all those who were affected by the March 5th Iowa tornados. I live in Windsor Heights we did not get damage but, the hail and wind was significant.
Hello from subtropical Qld, Australia. I love watching your videos, especially the descriptions and information you give on individual flowers. We have to start growing our cool weather plants in late summer through to the end of autumn. I would love to experience one of your snowy winters!
Congratulations on your subscriber molestone. As a retired CPA, I can't stop myself from thinking about revenue and expenses. Perennials may cost more initially, but their return year after year drops future costs. I love bachelor buttons and that sea of blue ones recoup the seed cost probably the 1st year. Reseeding is a gift if you can use the flowers. Other flowers and greenery seemed to be perrenials. Fewer seed trays under grow lights reduce labor too. I'm just a home gardener in Austin, TX growing my 1st cutting garden, but accountants keep counting. Gardening reminds me to cultivate patience, rather than run around with my hair on fire.
Congrats on 10,000 subscribers! As a happy, longtime subscriber I would like to personally say thank you so much for sharing all of your knowledge with your viewers. You two are really so generous with your experience and it only does good. Keep up the great work, thank you!
This is a great and unique list. Thanks. One suggestion is to leave the flower photo up a little longer as you talk about it. If a flower is new to me it would be helpful. Ty!
U are hands down one of the best accounts on youtube for cut flower buisness!!! Great job! Could u make a specific video on growing helleborus for cutflowers? Im wondering how u can get the desired stem length, in my cut flower garden they dont grow very tall. In general a video about tips and tricks for better stem length would be great!
Congratulations on 10k 🙂 thanks for sharing a fantastic list of spring flower fillers, so pretty. I love fritillaries, the white ones too are great to use for brides wanting a white theme. I am trying growing phlox this year but it’s struggling to germinate so far compared to the other seeds, so fingers crossed it comes through as so pretty as a filler x
Thank you for sharing all your lists of your favorite flowers! I take notes... One suggestion I have is when you make your list maybe type the name so it appears on the screen when you flash the picture as some of the flowers you mentioned I've never heard of (#1, #4, #8) and don't know how to spell the word so I can't look it up - thank you!! Congrats on 10K.
Another great video. I have some snowball viburnum in my garage right now waiting to plant it out. I am going to build our landscape with all cut flower plants here at the house. I will also add to the farm after we get the infrastructure built. Ordered some David Austin roses. Very excited to get perennials for my floral work. Thanks guys!
Woo hoo! Congrats on your channel growth! I love yalls channel. Thank you so much for taking the time to make these and help educate folks like me. I'm starting my own flower farm this year! Its a big leap of faith for me. But after my husband left the military a few years ago, civilian life hasn't turn out the way we thought. So we are both taking on self employment this year The American dream right? Start with nothing and work your butt off to gain a new life for you and your kids. Anyways, again thank you for all the amazing info!
Took your recommendations to Baker Creek Seeds (their sales proceeds to Ukrainian assistance) and ordered up a collection. 🇨🇦 northwest BC zone 6 rain forest. Looking forward to the new season. Good growing 🥂🌻👏
Your snowball viburnum, it looks to be a bush vs a tree…I only know of it as a tree? Also, do you have a favorite variety of quince and does it bloom into spring or do you cut it early and hold it in the cooler? I though it bloomed only in January/February. Thanks so much for sharing
Woot Woot! Love seeing this channel evolve! Congratulations on 10K! Jen, I am trying your Bupleurum seed sowing tips. Cannot wait to see if I got things right this year!! Thanks for the great tips.
What a great video accompanied with beautiful pictures. I'm making list from next year. I went to your website for the pennycress but it's sold out...I'll try next year.
I would love to know more about your irrigation on the farm if possible. I remember y’all saying that you used overhead and had a certain type of sprayer. I am needing a solution to irrigation on the you pick this first year and would love to know, please. I need to save where I can on budget I appreciate it. Thanks.
You mentioned the wild bachelor buttons choke out weeds. How do they effect poppy. Goldenrod, etc? Would I be able to intermingle them in a wildflower field or would they eventually take over the field?
Hi guys! Congrats, first off, that's great! When you talk about spring flowers, does that mean you would start them fairly early? I'm most curious about your phlox because I have that kind and now I wonder if I should start them like I did my snaps? Thanks for the help!
Please would you be kind enough to give a list of the flowers. As can't I understand what they all are. Unfortunately no captions highlighting the names. Delighted you hit the 10k your vids are really informative.
Congrats on 10k! I'm surprised it isn't 100k - but it won't be long
Thanks, y'all!
I agree! If theu keep at it theyll be there in no time!
Wow THANK YOU. I just had the worst night with a stomach flue, waking up to an entire bay in bed and then I found you. WOW all your videos are incredible. With love, Lena a swedish cut flower farmer
I love that wild-flowers (bouquets) 💐
I'm happy dancing with you guys.
If you want more viburnum it’s an easy one to propagate from cuttings. And it grows fairly fast.

apple-mint tea while making an apple-mint bouquet. Must buy.
I just grow vegetables and flowers for me and my family. But I love seeing your flower farm is amazing 😍
I love pennycress. I can't find the seed, so I have saved the random seeds from the one that sprout from my compost. It's my most coveted seed
Etsy has it!❤
I don’t have a flower business but, I really enjoy putting together bouquets for my family and friends. Thanks for the great information
I sure hope you recover and continue producing flowers and videos. I would love to bring my mom out to enjoy your flower gardens.

Great list! I have kept my apple mint in a pot. But I am going to give it more space this year. Just ordered some willows too!

Do you split the stem of snowball viburnum? Could you share how to force and condition your flowering branches please?
Does your cress self sow? Also do you mind sharing your winter hardiness zone? Thank you.
It does self sow. We’re in zone 5b
@@PepperHarrow thank you!

We use wobbler irrigation heads. They're great!
@@PepperHarrow thank you!
Thanks for the great information! I am a new subscriber and I love your beautiful farm. When do you start and plant the penny cress?
We like to plant in fall. It then blooms in spring.
Wondering where you bought your apple mint
We found it at a local garden center
The flower Stock is there another name for it?
You mentioned the wild bachelor buttons choke out weeds. How do they effect poppy. Goldenrod, etc? Would I be able to intermingle them in a wildflower field or would they eventually take over the field?
Not really sure. We haven’t mixed them before.
I just started watching you folks. Where are you located?
They are in IOWA.
We’re in central Iowa

Yep!
@@PepperHarrow Thanks!
This was my question as well, didn’t realize they could be a spring flower. Very excited about that info thank you
Are they platomic apple blossom ?
Blubell or Lungworth?
What is the name of the chartreuse green that you mentioned please?
Pennycress or Ladys Mantle
Please would you be kind enough to give a list of the flowers. As can't I understand what they all are. Unfortunately no captions highlighting the names. Delighted you hit the 10k your vids are really informative.
Updated the description!
@@PepperHarrow Thank you kindly.......very nice of you
🌸💕🌸
How do you condition the snowball viburnum ? 💜
We cut it right into water and give it a rest period. Pretty simple.
Thank you
Pulmonaria
Where did you order your snowball viburnum?
The ones we have were purchased retail. Check your local hardware stores. They usually have them. 🌸💗
What was the last filler couldn’t get the full name?
Willow?
I can’t find Apple mint! Do you have a source for seeds?
We don’t grow them from seed. We actually found our original plants at a local greenhouse.
Thank you!
Please list the names, it is hard to get the right names with ear...
I always turn on closed captioning 😉
