How, as an adult, can I change my ambivalent attachment to the secure attachment? I've been seeing a therapist for a year now and at times I am getting the same reactions/fears/anxiety as before I started the treatment.

I highly recommend checking out Personal Development School by Thais Gibson here. I was doing therapy and self help for nearly ten years. I find her RUclips and start using the tools in her programs and they WORK. Never had such progress and at such speed with much else other than meditation. These tools with meditation have helped me already change my attachment style.

Shalamar Children's training video explaining the basics of Children's Psychology. In this video, they talk about how to identify an Ambivalent Attachment by looking at the behaviour of the child. It also looks at the causes of Ambivalent Attachment as well as it's effects in adulthood.
If you haven't already seen it, it's strongly recommended that you watch Shalamar's previous video, 'Children's Attachment Theory and How to Use it'. A link has been placed below.
Link to 'Children's Attachment Theory and How to Use it' - ruclips.net/video/DnGthYxlu0E/видео.html
'Children's Attachment Theory and How to Use it' takes a brief but detailed look at Attachment Theory including explanations of Secure, Ambivalent, Avoidant and Disorganised attachments, Proximity Maintenance, Secure Base, Safe Haven and Separation Distress.
It also talks about how we can work towards building an attachment using PACE.
It encourages people to look at yourselves and see where you are long the scale, then accept other attachments without frustration or anger.
Subscribe to Shalamar Children for future training videos.

thanks a lot it was very helpful ... are you planing to upload more about the other attachment styles?
I personally would especially appriciate one about disorganised attachment .... especialy how to identify it and how it is different from the other two ...
