It is great to see people out on the MST. My father and Brother hiked the AT in 1986. My Father was 60 my Brother was 26. My Brother went on to hike the PCT and CDT. My Brother is now 62 he says hiking days are behind him. My Father passed in 2016 at 91. I am so proud of the both of them. So have fun.
Planning a 6-segment thru hike for next year and came across your channel. Good content and info. Thanks for putting in the time! Love the Google Earth pic elements that adds some really cool context! I’ll have to look into that!
Right on! You'll love the MST. We did the paddle option instead but the Coastal Crescent route is also beautiful. Good luck with the hike and happy trails!
I ended up being the slow-poke of the group so hopefully Brad didn't mind too much having ME along...hah! Thanks for watching as always. Really enjoying the van series!
Interesting to see Crow’s version of this day, and then see yours. I’ve never hiked with someone else who vlogs it, but I imagine it would be pretty fun. Like “hold on let me get a take of this, too, but different:-) 2 cool but different styles here for sure. Enjoyed them both! I also love using the Google topo imagery to show the trek ahead.
We had 3 different vlogs going on during this trip (Mine, Crow's, and Leonidas'). We ended up having to take turns talking to the camera because we all would end up wanting to say something at the same points on the trail...entertaining in its own way for sure. I enjoy watching their videos for the same reason...just seeing it from a different perspective. We all see the world with our own lens. Thanks for watching!
I’m watching this one because Crow just started his series today. I wonder how you got yours out so much sooner ? Maybe you shoot better video that doesn’t require so much editing? Looked like a terrible day ( I don’t like the rain) but you dealt w it fine ! Good Job! 👍
Everyone has their own pace...Crow is a master at cranking out MANY more videos than I. As far as the rain, I certainly didn't prefer it...but I'm a firm believer that there's no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate gear...and even then it still makes for a fun story.😂 Thanks for the sub and for watching!

Sounds like your family has a lot to be proud of! Thanks for watching!
Great video! I think the rain made it way better! Especially from my couch😎. Can't wait for part two!🤝🏽
It's always better to watch rain from the couch😎 Thanks for watching!
Huge help in knowing what to expect for my next hike. Thanks for sharing. Hope you’re having a great start to Fall.
Yessssir! I love the stretch from Clingman's to Mingus Mill. Hope you have a great Fall as well...some great hiking weather on the horizon.👍
I finally got around to watching part one. Amazing video. Part Two is awesome as well. I remember they wet day... well done Austin. Crow✌️
The rain certainly makes for a more entertaining story. Thanks for watching as always my friend!

Looked like a soggy start, but still a fun time!! 👍👍
The rain could've been a whole lot worse...ended at just the right time. Definitely a fun time...thanks for watching!
Great video even with Brad with you & rain! Lol. I enjoyed it! 👍👍✌️

Looks like fun even with the rain. Good video.
No such thing as bad weather...just improper gear. The rain certainly brought an added dimension but it was certainly manageable. Thanks for watching!
Nice job dude! Looked like a lot of fun.
It was a blast...definitely one of my favorite places. Practically a postcard wherever you looked. Thanks for watching!
Enjoyed it! Man that would’ve been hard for me to leave that nice dry shelter y’all stopped at for lunch.
mmyeah...probably not my favorite point in the trip but we were all still fresh so still up for making silly decisions 😎

Segment 1 in the Books. Love the towel disposable? Or reuse? Stay dry.. and have Good Times.
The towel is reusable...and cheap apparently so even if it gets worn out...not the end of the world. Thanks for watching!
What food do you bring?
I have a food dehydrator to dry out meals at home. In the long run, much cheaper and healthier than most store bought options. Thanks for watching!
Bro, Please come down to florida, i will tattoo GOOD TIMES on you!!!! Holy fuck
No tats for me but thanks for watching 👍
