Good video, I need a timing kit for a Honda Accord. Looked at Rock Auto at a Gates kit it said OEM I doubt it is now after looking at your video. Thanks!

I would be concerned about the Chinese parts. Not Canadian parts. Canada makes really good stuff.

WATCH OUT FOLKS.... GATES IS SLIPPING CRAP PARTS INTO THEIR KITS... The Gates t-belt kit for my 99 Toyota Camry I got from Amazon recently, (and returned) had Nice USA Gates belts, a Koyo Japanese tensioner pulley and a Chinese idler pulley. The Koyo bearing has red/orange seals and the Chinese idler bearing had a blue/green seal. I ended up buying the parts individually so I cold make sure of the quality. In fact, I got a Gates blue RPM extended wear racing belt and ps belt. The t-belt is good for 90K miles, but you can go much further with it if the bearings hold out.

It all comes down to preference! I like to use oem genuine parts but if the budget doesn't allow, there's nothing wrong with after market!

I just received mine from Amazon and none of the parts at all have a name to them. But the box says made in China...is this bad? Be honest lol I'm not impressed...what I'm considering is keeping my Honda water pump and if it ever goes replace it with this cheap one then ...money is an issue so I can't just buy more parts. I still want to replace all the other parts of the kit. I have so many questions and concerns. Watched probably 30-40 videos on the j series honda 3.0 motors. I've done many jobs but this one takes the Cake. I don't want to put cheap shit on my car but this China stuff looks identical to the other manufacturers. Any help is appreciated, thank you

OEM, Aftermarket, etc. makes no difference... 80%+ of all the belts on the market are a Gates belt. Used to work for them; the problem is that they moved to Mexico about 5-6 years ago...
