    i progreessed a lot (for someone who lives 2 and a half hours away from the mountains) in 2010 and 2011, then stagnated for years because i could only go 2-3 days per season. your videos are making me wanna go more often and actually try to progress again

    I would love to see more snowboard videos where the guys/girls are wearing helmets. I have noticed that quite a few show riders just wearing a hat. I personally hate wearing a helmet because it makes me overheat, I have a huge head and it doesn't look 'cool', but a lot of my perception of 'cool' is based on watching the videos of pros and experts carving up the piste.
    It would set a good example and put forward a good message to other riders if people wore helmets in these kinds of videos.
    Having said that, I am also impressed with the skills of these guys and am insanely jealous. Watching true pros is always inspirational. One day I will be that good...honest!

    I started snowboarding when I was 10, this was well before myspace lol, you didnt have these videos to help you learn just long days in the park. So much so that I completely got sick of snowboarding and went dark side and picked up a set of ski's.
    Picked up a brand new 2017 T-rice pro HP and ready to shred again, do you have any half pipe video's?

    Thank you for all the great vids! I think we need some commentary on board selection. Softer board better for butter?

    • @uncopino
      @uncopino 2 года назад

      it's a very complicated subject. the softer the better, yeah, but it depends a lot on the camber profile, bindings, boots, setup and in all this mess personal preference is king. no advice can substitute for the chance of trying stuff out. if you have friends who snowboard, offer them beers and beg them to let you try their equipment. anyway, if it's pure camber it's gotta be soft-ish at least, if it's flat top, cam-rocker, hybrid or full on rocker, you can still butter easily with a mid flex. i would avoid bataleon or any 3d based board as they are more forgiving on landings but also make it harder to be in control when buttering on groomers

    Thanks for the upload, gonna start working on butters. But I am still a beginner though. Does it matter if I use 15/0 or 21/6 bindings angles when learning butters?

    • @maximeroux8143
      @maximeroux8143 5 лет назад +1

      Better have 15/-15 if you want to do tricks riding switch etc

    I feel a bit awkward when trying this trick as I am not really getting the flex out of my board I should be. Im throwing most of my weight on my back foot by I dont get much pop out of my ollie because my weight is over my back foot. Also im riding a Forum youngblood doubledog with a flex rating of 4 which should be super soft but it really doesnt feel as such, any tips?
