Wholeheartedly agree with both points. I heard a suggestion too that Frontier should implement a Rescue and Rehab system. You have to meet certain criteria before building a rescue facility and then if your rescue building is big enough, you can get a message about an or a that needs rescuing. You can rehab it until it’s healthy enough and then release it! You can also get a message saying it’s not deemed healthy enough to be released so then you have to build a permanent home for them, which will cost a LOT of money. Similar to what another person said, I think this could work as a decent compromise. Planet Zoo can have a mechanic in the campaigns, where you can temporarily bring in pelagic animals to grow/rehabilitate, such as a juvenile great white shark or an injured orca. But these animals would be programmed to have very difficult exhibit requirements for a player to meet, and once the mission is over, they will automatically be released back into the wild. The one exception would be Sandbox Mode, where you could add great white sharks, orcas, etc. to your exhibits and keep them like regular animals. This can be counterbalanced with a disclaimer in the descriptions, that those pelagic animals do not survive well in permanent captivity, in real life.

@ulisesmarvelsJust because they stopped capturing southern residents doesn’t mean we can just forget about it. It was brutal, y’know, almost 50 of them sent to aquariums purely for profit and most of them died before getting even near the average wild lifespan, not to mention over a dozen were reported to have died during captures or transport, too. I don’t see why Seaworld could be so so different now considering they supported that, I mean, they don’t capture or buy any more orcas because they have enough to breed, and yes, ik they supposedly stopped breeding (supposedly, because Morgan was an ‘asset’ of Seaworld, even tho she’s at a different circus, yet she still had a calf…). Also, Morgan is one of the proofs that Seaworld couldn’t care less about their orcas. Sure, she may be at Loro Parque, but it’s known that she’s ganged up by the other orcas in her tank (which is ironic because they said she wouldn’t survive in the wild or find her pod again because of her hearing problems, then put her in a tank with orcas that didn’t know her at all), hence why she was recorded beaching herself on the platform, and often chew on concrete walls, which is also something orcas at Seaworld do or did. If Seaworld truly cared, they would have transported her away from Loro Parque, but all they did was ignore and then brush it off when it was revealed that she was pregnant which broke the so-called ban on breeding (I believe the owner of Loro Parque expressed excitement about achieving Morgan because of how much money a new bloodline would bring, y’know, because many captive orcas are inbred, not to mention three whales died in just THIS year at that abusement park, so yeah, Seaworld sucks for making her live there in the first plsce). I’m glad that you changed your opinion, but Seaworld is an entire darn company, there’s a difference between one person doing photoshop, and them doing photoshop.

Let them believe what they want to believe. I don't mind if people support Seaworld because I understand they have their own opinions and I have mine.
@@whalphinluvxNot really? It’s not like stereotypical behaviors and injuries/deaths (ones that could only happen in captivity, like Hugo and Kandu V’s deaths) of captive orcas aren’t a real thing, so I’d say it’s normal to realize how much they suffer unless you outright don’t care, but I’ve seen very few pro-caps be like that. Most of the time they try to justify it. Like, yeah sure, of course orcas chewing on concrete walls (Tilikum, Morgan, Kiska, Kshamenk, Nootka V, Shouka, Taima, and Katina are some examples that did/do this) to the point they have to get drilled, and constantly being under the sun to the point they get sunburns or eye issues (abusement parks often hide the burns, Seaworld uses black zinc oxide, confirmed by a former trainer) is normal.
Hello. If you needed Orcas in a good way to see them, you can look on Kiro 7, King 5, Komo 4 News and Q13 Fox news on here. And that is IF you want to change the video on the sign to the habitat. Those are the local stations for me in Washington State. Whenever we hear that the Orcas are in Puget Sound, one of the choppers of Kiro 7 video tapes them. Or you can go to the RUclips channel: center4whaleresearch. I hope this helps you out. Alonia143. PS: I love Free Willy too.
Orcas are beautiful and highly intelligent creatures but they are also one of the few species that hunts and kills for fun or sports. But there is nothing really to worry about when you meet them in the wild because the only cases where they killed humans are in captivity (one more reason why they shouldn't be kept in zoo's).
I could imagine seeing the kinkajue next to the spectacled bear it could well with the theme of the spectacled bears theme like how the orca matches the penguins
they should still make a dlc for it the people that want it can get it and the ones that dont dont have to. it is about animal care so we also learn about these species and its a game if people are that concerned about it probably shouldnt be playing a zoo game as all the animals in zoo are in cages for probably all of there lives
Ya sniff that??? it's the sweet scent of controversy!!! (AKA SeaWorld and the orca's if you're a dummie) Edit: Ok i posted this at the begining but when I heard the inspiration i was genuinly surprised lol
Sea world is actually a good park that treats their animals great and helps with conservation. All the controsversy comes from a movie blackish, which has no evidence to back up their claims. The company behind Bush gardens and sea world helps a lot with conservation efforts and is amazing because of this!
@@dinoguy6177 You couldn't be more wrong. Orcas suffer in captivity. Do your research. No human has ever been killed by an orca in the wild, non-fatal attacks are extremely rare. Yet there have been several attacks in captivity, about 5 or so being fatal.

@@aubreypetty1761 Technically it is an opinion. You can't classify whether they're happy or not, that's anthropomorphism. Do a bit more research on it. I don't support Seaworld's administration but the trainers I support because they care for and keep these animals alive. You can't force your opinions on other people.
OMG I have been waiting for someone to do this forever! ❤️🐬🧑🏼
Or you can go to the RUclips channel:
center4whaleresearch. I hope this helps you out. Alonia143. PS: I love Free Willy too.
If this was the real world. Conservationists would have a field day on the size of that enclosure
I love to free Willy two when I was seven years old😂🤣🤣😂😂😂
I were so glad to hear abt a Orca mod. But sadly the animations not good at all ;( wish that they come normal to the game
Thank you for also saying that you don’t think it’s right for animals in real life to be in a zoo/seaworld!
It isn’t
The Orca Oasis! 🏝
I'm 8 and I like videos and I like orcas
10:05 I can see the his desktop
Great video
i liked this video because orcas are my favourite creatures
FINALLY I WAS WAITING ON THIS!
I wonder what would happen when Planet Zoo adds more marine mammals (dolphins, sea lions, sea otters, belugas and manatees.)
It would make the game better
Bunch of morons would probably complain about it being abuse to the animals because they're in 'captivity' even though it's literally not real.
Good job on mentioning that they shouldn't be kept in actual zoos!
Get to feeling better BestinSlot! I miss your videos
Orcas are beautiful and highly intelligent creatures but they are also one of the few species that hunts and kills for fun or sports. But there is nothing really to worry about when you meet them in the wild because the only cases where they killed humans are in captivity (one more reason why they shouldn't be kept in zoo's).
Alliteration idea:
Orca observatorium
It reminds me of the mosasaur exhibit from Lego JW
Love your vids men. These mod videos of planet zoo are 🔥.
Godzilla fans watching Bestinslot :o
Who remembers oakwood the game?
a orca a fricin orca thats just poggers
WAIT PAUSE 10:06 (it shows his desktop it also might not show up you’ll need to stop it perfectly)
Think more modern by giving us subtitles for special people who can't hear, thank you very much.
This is one awesome Planet Zoo mod
Orcas live in cold regions. Dang.
It’s so good good job!
And I thought the blue penguin exhibit was big. Hope you get Better soon
you know under island or a ground seemingly floating actually have a massive structure under water
Hey bestinslot can you make a super cool komodo dragon exhibit in planet zoo please
i just made a wolf habitat that im really proud of until i logged on to youtube and saw this
Ya sniff that??? it's the sweet scent of controversy!!!
(AKA SeaWorld and the orca's if you're a dummie)
Edit: Ok i posted this at the begining but when I heard the inspiration i was genuinly surprised lol
Sea world is actually a good park that treats their animals great and helps with conservation. All the controsversy comes from a movie blackish, which has no evidence to back up their claims. The company behind Bush gardens and sea world helps a lot with conservation efforts and is amazing because of this!
@@dinoguy6177 no
@@dinoguy6177 You couldn't be more wrong. Orcas suffer in captivity. Do your research. No human has ever been killed by an orca in the wild, non-fatal attacks are extremely rare. Yet there have been several attacks in captivity, about 5 or so being fatal.
@@dinoguy6177 Watch blackfish, dumbass thats what I was hinting at
