Im still really nervous about adding mods to my game as although this was very helpful ive heard so many people having issues with them, plus knowing me i'd forget to uninstall them before the next update lol (im guessing you still have to do this) thank you for the great video thou Leaf :) always amazing content, info and builds
uhhh I did exactly as the video said. I started by dragging Kaicore and ACSE into the correct folder but the game just kept crashing. I removed both mods from the folder but now it still keeps crashing. The game doesn't crash immediately, it only crashes once I try to load into one of my zoos. Uhhh wtf do I do Edit: Apparently franchise mode works fine but I cannot open any sandbox zoos what is going on. Another edit: Okay so after relaunching for like the eighth time the game just works now? I'm truly confused I'm just gonna try again later maybe it was an unusual unrelated issue or smtn idk. LAST EDIT: The mods had nothing to do with the crashes. I realised this when other games started crashing aswell. My computer was out of disk space and it started crashing everything coincidentally at the same time I started doing pz mods. I cleaned up my disk space and now it all works.
I've installed all of my mods correctly, yet I'm still getting crashes. That, and the discord invite isn't working anymore. My crashes happen when I either go into zoopedia or one of the trading tabs. I can try and reinstall the entire game again. should I try installing the remasters the old way?
Hi, Leaf. I'm having some trouble with a colour morph mod for sandbox. It's supposed to increase albinos and piebalds and all those. I've reached out to the creator and she doesn't know what more she can do to help. If you download the mod there's a folder called "More Variants" I put that in the ovldata folder. And the mod needs ACSE to work, which I also have installed. But it's not working. Do you have any idea how to help?
Hi Leaf, thank you for the tutorial it really helps. But there is one thing that I want to tell you. There are some new animal species mods that whenever they go to the water, they float above it or their heads are supposed to be above the surface but their whole bodies are submerged. Is it because the mods are outdated or did i do something wrong? Thank you!
I opened up ACSE in winrar dragged it in and the game still crashed. I did have all of the animal mods in there before ACSE so i was wondering if that was the reason its crashing
It wont work? Yes my game wont crash, and yes all the files are in order and what they should be. But when I check in animal trading its not there? Also the mods are not discontinued or anything like that.
@@LeafProductions , I don’t think that’s it. I downloaded the peafowl variants mod which requires no dlc, even if it did I have all the dlc for the game. And I play in sandbox, I’ll try using different mods and I’ll update you on how it goes.

I did exactly as you said but everytime I try to open up Planet Zoo it crashes.
Join the modding server ask there
If you move your ovldata folder move it back, I had the same problem and that fixed it

You probably lack the required DLC or are playing in the wrong game mode

The cracked game is an old version so it's not compatible with new/updated mods. You need to buy it xd
