Do consider that different deserts around the world have wildly different vegetation. The cacti utilised in these videos are native north American species, in fact no cactus species except the mistletoe cactus (which I think planet zoo doesn't have) are natively found in africa. African desert environments would look different for that reason.
Once again a great tutorial thought just wanted to point that (let's face it quite insignificant) detail out since this tutorial perfectly represents American desert environments. Keep it up!
