Hi Ruth perhaps a glitter glue would help with the transfer- I find I need to use one with sparkly shades on my 52 year old hooded eyes (no matter whether it’s ND or Essence). I apply my normal eye primer and any matte shades first then apply glitter glue to my lid prior to applying my shimmer/metallic/sparkle and get much better longevity plus less glittery stuff falling down my face over the course of the day. I know it’s an extra step but it is worth doing. In January I was ill so I didn’t wear much makeup but the palette I did use was the Dior silver backstage and it is a newer favourite- soft blendable mattes, satin shades and a couple of shimmers which are very flattering on mature eyes and don’t need a glitter glue. Best wishes x
That’s what I was doing but the NYX glitter glue caused a reaction on my eyes so I’ve had to stop using it. Not sure what other one to try. Was thinking of maybe the Too Faced one. Which one do you use??
@@ruthfoley I use the nyx but there are bound to be other options around. It isn’t uncommon to get reactions from eye primers unfortunately. I hope you find something x
